Helen (8/5): It was a good place to stay for one night stopover. - Easy access. Room had all the needed requirements, including kitchenette. It was impersonal not having staff on site. Electronic check-in was easy to follow. It was good that a Contact Phone number was given for emergency contact. The one issue I had was that I had to press quite hard on the screen to enter my information. Often took 2 or 3 attempts.

Gloria (8/5): A very high tech motel - It was dark and rainy when we got there so was pleasantly surprised by the self check in machine at the entrance. The machine checked as in quick enough and set us up with our pin code to the door so we got inside and out of the rain quickly! Room was newly refurbished and beds were comfy. Just a very high tech motel in Wodonga and only 2 other ones in Australia with the same check in machine apparently! Only human staff we saw were the cleaners next day before check out time. The price for the room is very good. It was closed to the freeway so can be noisy for light sleepers. The shower door and screen didn’t close completely leaving a gap which caused the water spilling out requiring our towels to soak it up. We were only there 1 night so we used all our towels to keep the bathroom dry. You need to drive to get food as there's not much within walking distance. There is a simple vending machine onsite which is helpful.

Also handy having a keypad to access the rooms rather than a room key. Checking in and out is easy, however,done electronically on a screen with no reception makes it a bit impersonal. Room was small.

Rob (1/5): If this is the future of motel accommodation, we’re all in trouble. - It was clean and dry. It was tiny, the towels were of very poor quality, one flannel for three people, nowhere to put bags down, power points with tape over them, no human interaction. The place had no character and no soul. We had our family pet, Riley, with us who was let out of the car to go for a walk, but remained on a leash. On return from the walk he set foot in the room and was pulled out and tied up outside. We went to our function, where Riley stayed the night; he did not return to the motel. We have just found out that they billed us an additional $50 for additional cleaning. For a dog who set foot in our room for no more than 5 seconds! This is an extreme example of price gouging and profiteering. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We have asked for the costs involved in the "additional cleaning" but have not received a reply. Do yourself a favour and find another location.

Bathroom fan & light combined on same switch. Fan noisy. With the raindrop shower head shower caps needed. Cupboard behind front door made it difficult to hang up suits carried in. Door wedge difficult to engage for unloading & loading car. Refrigerator & freezer doors hung on the wrong side - doors should open to the wall. Unable to stream to TV or Freeview. Exit driveway ferocious dip scraping front underside of vehicle - need a high clearance vehicle!
Amanda (9/5): - Always a great late night stopover on route to Melbourne with 24 hour check in via the kiosk. Perfect for families with a Queen bed and 2 singles beds and a a kichenette. Check in kiosk can be a bit glitchy. Room 18 had a noisy aircon and there was something setting our allergies off but we couldn't work out what it was as the apartment was clean but there was a musty smell possibly from the carpet or the air con. We have stayed in other units before without any issues so it may just be this one.

If we opened the blind anyone walking past could look directly in the room. Asked to wash dishes which is fine but no tea towel to dry them. 1 desert spoon and 1 soup spoon. 1 large bowl and 1 small bowl. This needs attention. Hard bed, needs a mattress topper.
