I really appreciated being changed to the down stairs room due to my not being able to manage the stairs. So good to be able to park at the door as well. I would have liked to stayed longer. Maybe next time. I found the gravel a bit rough to walk on but that is just being fussy. The microwave was a bit irregular maybe it might need to be checked in the future.

Love being able to park outside the front door The room we were given was , I believe , the “ disabled” room which meant we had a lovely big easy access shower . However , with no “ lip” on the floor and no door the whole bathroom floor was drenched after each shower . This was a big hazard for anyone , but especially for anyone who was disabled !!

- Paul (8/5): Tidy freshened up hotel that meets your basic needs - Well located near half way between Melbourne and Sydney. The room, with updated bathroom and furniture was neat and tidy. The bed was firm and comfortable. Everything you need was there and just meets the basic standard you need when travelling through. The rsl and pubs nearby are great for dinner. The stay was better than expected. Only minor point was the lumps on the floor which was strange.

- Deborah (4/5): Disappointing experience - location was close to shops and cafes The motel's stated 'Hi-speed wifi' wasn't stable, which meant i missed vital moments of a family wedding on Zoom. Also, (no fault of theirs) but an emergency water outage meant I couldn't shower. There was noone at reception to explain this (it was closed at 11am checkout time) or no note under the door. I'd had a missed call an hour earlier, while I was still asleep, but didn't know why I couldn't shower or flushing the toilet again until I'd rung the unknown number. They should have sent text messages at the very least.

Had to drive on little sleep the - It’s an overnight stay so it’s ok for what it is….. but don’t be hungry when you get there…. Microwave there. If you can’t eat Chinese or pizza then bring your own food. Bed hard
- Robyn (9/5): Great for an overnight stop - The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless. The motel was in an excellent position within walking distance to local shops and a pub with great food. Nothing. The motel was perfect for the price.
- Wendy (1/5): Very disappointed with the condition of the premises and the attitude of the staff. - Location The air conditioner leaked and flooded the floor. Staff offered to put towels down to mop it up. They obviously knew there was a problem with the air conditioner. I asked for another room as it very hot and we would need air conditioning during the night. I was told they were fully booked and there were no more rooms available. As I had booked 2 rooms I told staff that we would all stay in that room and asked for a full refund on the damaged room, which I had paid $189 + a service fee. I found this room to be rather shabby and shower taps falling from the wall. They were not prepared to refund that amount but said they would refund $120-60 which was the amount I paid through Booking.com. The $189 + was the amount I paid for a pet friendly room. After many telephone conversations with the manager they “found “ another room and agreed to let us have it for the amount of $189 +. I was very disappointed with the condition of these rooms and the attitude of the staff. I will make it known to my many travelling family and friends not to use this motel.
- Zdenko (1/5): Room was in such bad condition we couldn't stay. Was promised a refund by manager but never got it. - Nothing. There was no one at reception and no one answered my call when we arrived. When we finally got to the room, bed was poorly made and upon closer inspection we found the bedsheets not changed, bed base broken, floor uneven under the carpet and dirty. Air conditioner was dripping in front of room door. Another gest was in distress talking to the accommodation manager about poor state of their room. In the end we decided to leave after talking to manager who promised to provide refund after due process with Booking.com which we followed. Booking.com informed us that Holbrook Town Centre Motor In management did not come to agreement and provide refund. What a poor outcome after a poor service in a poorly maintained accommodation.
