• Te Hiumamaeroa (6/5): Location is perfect for entertainment and a great variety of food options handy within walking distance. - Location was perfect for my purpose of attending a family event. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. The facility was secure. The carpet had stains. It wasn’t an issue the wearing of footwear sorted that issue.

• Jaime (6/5): Good but not amazing - Price is great and the location is really good. It is very noisy on the weekend and a lot of drunk people on the streets near the motel and as a solo traveller I felt a little unsafe.
• Kerry (6/5): It was ok - Comfortable bed, big room, location Big crack in brickwork on outside & window didn’t close properly I found a cockroach in the bathroom twice Noisy individuals till about 12 midnight & from about 2.45 for 1 hr roughly yelling & knocking on each door! & running up & down the stairs. Disturbing everyone’s sleep!
• Rhiannon (9/5): Great location, great staff! - The staff are phenomenal! I failed to read the check in procedure until an into our 5 hour drive to Wollongong…at 7pm. It clearly states that late check ins need to be organised in advance. Kiera drove 25mins in from Dapto for us and was so lovely about it even though it was my stuff up. She even turned the heater on in the room for us so it wasn’t cold when we arrived late at night. The rooms are a little outdated and the carpets had multiple big stains.

I stumbled upon the check in times by accident but noticed that check in after about 5.30pm needed to arranged in advance. I booked through a third party so maybe this is where the communication breakdown occurs. That said the manager was amazing and sorted ot out very efficiently.

• Melton (2/5): - Good location close to beach and shops. Old tired rooms, noisy box air con, minor maintenance issues. No plates, knives, forks, shampoo/cond, microwave. Originally booked a budget room, but that was terribly dark and small, upgraded to Queen immediately. Central location which also can be noisy with nightlife. The owner needs to spend some money on this property and upgrade the rooms, this accommodation is something you would find in a small outback town not in the middle of Wollongong charging top dollar.

• Simon (8/5): It was welcoming, comfortable, handy and just what I hoped for - It was simple and basic - the TV wasn't working well - a few stations OK - most not OK. The bed and everything else was fine! Nothing - I liked it all - especially the "Downtown" position!

Very noisy very early in the morning as others staying were very loud when leaving with no consideration of others. Can hear everything outside if anyone close by. Very noisy and loud when taps were turned on.

• Joerg (5/5): - Gute Lage, mitten in der Stadt. Extrem abgewohnt, überall blättert das Furnier ab, Teppich kaputt und dreckig, Matratze durchgelegen. Nachts (am Wochenende) sehr laut aufgrund irgendwelcher durchgeknallter Autofahrer. Offenbar dienen die anschließenden Straßen als Testgelände für Fahrzeuge ohne Schalldämpfer.

• GORDON (7/5): Pleasant Stay - central location .walking distance to CBD and beach.. comfortable bed and good shower pressure. but have to say reception staff make this place.. well done. rooms badly need a makeover . rooms are very tired and definitely need new block out curtains..the pull done blinds are hopeless ,let to much light in .

Was not expecting the room to be serviced each day, so that was a bonus Cockroach in the room. Blinds didn't fit the window well, so exterior lights shone through the gaps right onto the bed, TV reception was terrible on Saturday and Sunday nights, but was fine on Friday
