• Michele (10/5): Amazing, stunning and welcoming. - The view, stunning gardens, beautifully appointed decor and bedding. The hosts are so welcoming, thoughtful and caring. Would give it six stars if we could!! Extraordinary.
• Nadine (10/5): Perfekte Unterkunft für einen Traumurlaub - Die Unterkunft ist einfach ein Traum und noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Was es jedoch unvergessen macht ist die Aussicht. Wir konnten uns einfach nicht satt sehen. Selbst bei Regenwetter. Die beiden Gastgeber Sonja und Filip sind ebenfalls grandios und haben stets ein freundliches Wort und vor allem hilfreiche Tipps parat. Hervorzuheben ist ausserdem die wundervolle Gartenanlage mit Pool (beheizt) und Whirlpool. Jeder Winkel ist mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Es hat uns große Freude bereitet jeden Winkel zu erkunden oder einfach nur dazu zu sitzen und die Vögel zu beobachten. Wir können es nur jedem ans Herz legen hier mehrere Tage zu bleiben (bei uns waren es 4 Nächte), ansonsten wird man es vor Ort bereuen nicht länger bleiben zu können.
• Christine (10/5): Perfect stay in a perfect place with perfect hosts! - Sonja and Filip are great hosts, very passionate and they gave us the best tipps. The Lodge is perfectly furnished and decorated with love and every detail is amazing, from the little chocolates and cookies to a port wine tasting! Floor heating in the bathroom, fluffy bathrobes, what could you need more?! The location is great too, lots of things to see and do within short distances. The beach is just down the road. Thank you for this lovely stay! Next time, we'll stay longer. Absolutely nothing.

Every detail is thought out and gives you the feeling that this place is as unique as its owners. • Deidre (10/5): Great hosts and lovely accommodation in a great location for exploring one of NZ’s most beautiful locations. - Filip and Sonya were fabulous hosts-very hospitable and generous with information and recommendations. The shuttle service to Abel Tasman made a day tramping in the park seamless. We enjoyed the accommodations so much we were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay by one day. Pōhara is an excellent location for visiting the Golden Bay and I can’t recommend the Bay Lodge highly enough.

• Lucy (10/5): Amazing place and hosts! - The Bay Lodge was absolutely fantastic! It was everything and more. Anything you could possibly need was in the accommodation and the hosts couldn’t have done more for us. They booked any excursions we wanted to do and even baked delicious carrot cake for us to have with drinks whilst we were relaxing by the pool.

They couldn’t do enough to help and the cake was delicious. My accommodation was immaculate and the view from the room outstanding. It was relaxing and felt luxurious. Nothing.. it was perfect in every way.
