- Kirsty (10/5): - Great location. Service was amazing. Clean and tidy room. Nothing
- Lindsay (7/5): A comfortable room with microwave, toaster and crockery. - Location was perfect for our requirements. The room, though older style, was quite satisfactory. The bed didn't have locking castors and moved all the time.
- Tracy (9/5): -

- Sharna Leigh (10/5): - Quiet and owners were very good, right in town also comfy beds
- Lisa (7/5): Would stay here again. - Walking distance to village. Need blockout curtains or blinds so inside can’t be seen from outside especially of an evening when lights are on inside.
- Guest (7/5): Overall it was a pleasant stay. Thank you - Location wise was excellent, as our event was two doors up.
Loved the coffee machine and the coffee cups. The room was spacious. Loved the clean towels
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Very charming building. It needed a better clean, dead bugs everywhere, very dirty under the armchair. I dropped a earring and had to move the armchair to retrieve it and saw that it has not been cleaned for a while. Did not like the shower head.
The room had this stale smell (as if it has not been used for a while).
- Bronwyn (10/5): Yungaburra over night stay - Excellent Air Con. Excellent pool. Easy check in. Super clean. N/a

- Flo (7/5): Great location , a little dated but clean and comfortable - The coffee machine No tissues in room
- Stuart (10/5): -
- van Maarseveen (5/5): Matig verblijf - Ik vond de lokatie niet zo bijzonder. Het zwembad is erg klein. Kamer erg gedateerd. Ik vond de kamer ook niet erg schoon. Zie bovenstaand
- Jane (9/5): - Great location with short walk to restautants, cafes and hotel. Good off street parking. Right in the heart of Yungaburra. Friendly hosts. Nice pool. Well appointed rooms, comfortable bed. Nothing not to like.
- Anita (8/5): -
- Api (8/5): -
- Bow (9/5): - There were no power points near the bed for the use of a CPAP machine
- Anonymous (9/5): -
- Joanne (5/5): Staff were pleasant and location is great. - For the price that we paid I expected a more modern stylist room. The room was dated and needed a refreshing update. The shower head was bad. The bedhead had faded paint and the pillows were lumpy.
Due to good location and shortage of accommodation in Yungaburra, owners can charge more than what you would expect for only 2-3 stars accommodation.

- GAIL (8/5): it was ok for 1 night - good location and friendly staff didn’t realise it was pet friendly and there was a yappy dog in the room next door
- C (8/5): Beautiful location for a great weekend. -
- Robyn (10/5): Fabulous hidden gem. Loved it and would definitely stay again - Very easy to find. Easy walk to get some dinner at the local hotel. Everything was very cosy and comfortable and clean. What a pretty town. Also car was able to be parked very close to our room so felt safe. Ready for some new paint but that’s nothing much.
- Bill (8/5): Very good -
- John (6/5): -
- Janey (7/5): Good - When we had to leave early Mario was helpful and efficient in arranging a refund. Very impressive! We had hoped to have meals at the motel (as advertised on the booking.com site), but meals were not available as there had been a changeover of managers on the day we arrived.
The property needs a bit of a freshen up and I am sure that will happen under Mario's ownership.
- Janelle (9/5): Superb -
- Christina (8/5): Very good -
- Pamela (8/5): Very enjoyable, we usually stay there when we go up to the tablandlands - Comfortable, good staff, close to where we had our dinner Nothing
- Donna (2/5): If we could of asked for our money back we would of as soon as we seen and smelt the room - Location was perfect Did not know it was a pet motel and was horrified to walk into the room and ALL you could smell was DOG. The owner asked if I would like some milk in my room ( I was dying for a cup of tea ) she made sure it was only enough for the 2 cups of tea and no more.. None was delivered the second day at all. Then we couldn't open our bathroom window to let out the steam as it was not only not gauzed but their own entertainment area was there for everyone to look straight in the window
- Debbie (1/5): Bad - Noisy with doors slamming. Room ordinary and needed a face lift. Just not nice.
- Jade (8/5): Curtain fig motel. - The service was friendly and happy to help. Thank you Jane and Mark for making our stay a pleasant one. Also a long time guest was super generous and let us borrow his cooker. Very welcoming atmosphere. Would be nice if there was a screen door to let the breeze in and screens on the windows also.
- Debra (8/5): Very good -
- Neil (2/5): Dissapointed - Good location though noisey road. Pet hairs on the bedding. Uncomfortable bed. Very dark and dated room. Smashed shower screen.
The 'bar and restaraunt were virtuslly old tsble and plastic chairs under a shade cloth - surrounded by old paint pots and other 'rubbish'. Not at all pleasant
- Melanie (7/5): Clean & comfortable, excellent location. - Excellent location, practical, clean & comfortable.
We were welcomed with an afternoon tea of fresh scones, jam & cream - delicious. We can recommend the motel’s breakfast but there are other breakfast options in Yungaburra.
- Maxine (5/5): Passable - The location was great. Staff were pleasant. Our room 1 wasnt cleaned properly from previous people. We were left 3 coffee pods and found the used mouldy one still in the coffee machine. One of the bath towels smelled really bad after it was used for drying. The old soap from previous people was still in the shower.
The shower curtain had mildew on it- could get replaced. The shower bottom could use a good scrub. We didnt complain but regret not doing so now as we paid good money. Also the gardens could get a trim and tidy up as i had to walk over plants every time i got in or out from our car park. We even had to remove plant trimmings from the pool.
- David (9/5): Superb - Jane the host was very helpful and also cooked a wonderful breakfast
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Marian (5/5): Passable -
- Loanna (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mollymoo_10 (6/5): It's ok for a night - The best part was the shower, even though it was small it gave a great shower, The downside the rooms are tired, the pillows smell musty, I could hardly see the tv it is so small. Even though they offer a bar, it is over crowded with junk not making it feel welcoming. I certainly wouldn't rush back.
- Dorothy (8/5): the hosts were very friendly - great scones on a Saturday Afternoon - nice and handy to shopping, market and our event we were attending
- Robert (8/5): Very pleasant - Location was excelllent. A lovely touch was scones and jam at 3pm delivered to our room. Hosts were very friendly and informative Room was very dated but clean and inviting
- Marc (9/5): Friendly Staff and Informative.. - Tasty...Punctual...
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ronald (8/5): Very good - Proximity to centre of town. Friendly staff. Large room Oversize lounge chair in room wasn't clean. Room was rather dark
- Phillip (7/5): Good - The rooms were basic but very comfortable. The owners of the property were very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate us. It was only a short walk to the center of town.
- Douglas (7/5): Good - Owners were extremely helpful, providing lots of information about the area. A coffee machine was in the room, first one we've had this trip. Room was comfortable, if a little tired. But good value for money and a great central location.
- Trefor (8/5): Very good -
- Lynelle (10/5): Said it all in the survey nothing left to say - Excallent Nothing was what we expected
- Hawton (10/5): Exceptional - Very welcoming hosts, beautiful village setting, and loved the mascot duck gracing the property with her gorgeous self. Nothing, am extremely happy with my stay.
- Suella (9/5): Superb - The property is comfortable and clean - good value for money and great location
- Lorraine (6/5): Handy - Bed
- Sandra (7/5): Good -
- Paul (8/5): Very good - It was clean, good for children with a bunk bed in the room. Staff were very accommodating for our late check-in. Probably would bring or use earplugs if I needed to rest, sleep in. As it is on the main road.
- Annette (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joy (8/5): Very good -
- Colin (5/5): fair - Location was great Just a basic motel, nothing to get too excited about
- Tina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nomad47857861517 (6/5): old fashioned motel - This motel is very tired. Old, dark room, old furniture. Facilities were adequate and it was clean. We couldn't get on to the internet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good location, and you can park your car and walk to everything in the town.
- Trent (7/5): Good - Location
- Michael (9/5): A short but pleasant stay. - The breakfast and location were both fine/ There was nothing that we didn't like.
- Virginia (7/5): Good -
- Deb (7/5): Friendly - The couple were lovely and welcoming. Sheets were clean as were the tea and coffee facilitulies Bathroom and room could do with thorough clean on the edges
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Meryl (8/5): Very convenient and comfortable. Value for money - Did not have breakfast. The parking lot is not designed for larger cars.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Carol (7/5): Very friendly owners who happily help in any way. - Location & large room A little tired.
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- 196keryna (10/5): Warm, welcoming and hospitable. - A wonderful motel! Nothing is too much trouble for Mark and Jane. Jane's home-made meals are excellent. We had roast pork with all attendant vegetables followed by apple and blueberry crumble. Another night was lamb rogan josh - so good I went back for seconds! This is a beautiful, clean motel, situated in the middle of Yungaburra and close to other great restaurants. I can't speak highly enough of Jane and Mark's hospitality. We will certainly be going back!
- Judy (7/5): Good -
- Barry (9/5): Superb -
- rnjtransport (2/5): Terrible dirty, untidy disgusting motels…. - Don’t stay here, not recommending it at all…..
Filthiest motel we have ever stayed in…..
Owner has the personality of a lamppost…..
When we drove out we noticed the towels from the rooms were draped over the pool fence to dry, just disgusting……
- Barry (8/5): Very good -
- Jacqueline (8/5): Friendly and Comfortable - A comfortable country motel. Nothing flashy, but clean and well located. Comfortable bed.
- Lee (8/5): Very good -
- Veronica (9/5): Superb - Super-friendly hosts and great value! We'd definitely stay here again.
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (10/5): Home away from home - The overall experience - Jane and Mark (and Oscar!) are wonderful hosts and I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the beautiful village of Yungaburra. A great location, with all the facilities you need. Home away from home - look forward to coming back.
- Anne (4/5): Disappointing - Location was nice and relaxing Very strong pet smell in the room which made the experience unpleasant.
- Vanessa (5/5): Passable -
- Elaine (5/5): Passable -
- TorontoNigel (10/5): Our stay at the Curtain Fig Motel was great! - My wife & I really enjoyed our stay at the Curtain Fig Motel. The owners, Jane & Mark, were really helpful gave us some tips on the local food outlets, places to maybe see a platypus, Jane cooked us a really tasty curry one evening and our suite was great. Keep it up!!!
- Mor (7/5): Great value for money in a beautiful town-Yungaburra - This mum and dad motel is located in the best village in the Atherton Tableland. The owner is a lovely lady with lots of helpful local knowledge: where to eat (a few doors up the street or lunch by the crater lakes), what & when to see the local wildlife (Platypus and tree kangaroos and amazing fig trees). We soundly slept in a comfortable bed in a quiet location, so all in all excellent value for money. While the facilities needed upgrading when viable, there would be immediate benefit in tidying up the surrounding verandahs and patios.
