- Shirlee (3/5): . - The bed and the lines were clean The kitchen was dirty, the common area was dirty. My room was clean but there was a bad smell, a mix of burn/vaping and dirty, all coming from the carpet on the floor. I had to spray my car perfume to be able to fall asleep. Wifi doesn't work.
- Victoria (7/5): Calidad precio excelente. Genial spot. Hostel con personalidad - La propiedad es abierta. Tienen tbn la opcion por si prefieres ir con tu carpa y acampar. Pudiendo usar las zonas comunes. Amplio espacio de parking también. Ademas esta muy bien situada si vienes de la bahia de Coles Bay para pasar la noche y arrancar hacia el sur al dia siguiente (que fue mi caso). El resto de alojamientos al rededor estaban carísimos o, prácticamente sold out. La habitación que reservé era de 4 female room. Estaba limpia y con linen fresh. Tenia calefacción. Baños comunes y cocina y sala de estar también. Lo llevaba todo un solo chico. Muy amable, por cierto. Lei los comentarios al principio, y me asusté. Pero me animé a reservar. Y la verdad que bastante bien calidad/precio. Muy silenciosa, ademas, la propiedad. La recomiendo si estas de road trip. Dale una oportunidad :) El dueño debería de ponerle mas amor a la propiedad. Es un sitio bonito. Para una sola persona mas varios voluntarios es difícil mantener un “high standard” de tener todo impoluto y arreglado
- Laura Fabienne (1/5): Most disgusting place I’ve ever been to! - Nothing This was the most disgusting, dirtiest and creepiest hostel I’ve ever been to. The kitchen was so dirty and stinky that I couldn’t even touch anything without thinking I’ll get some disease. There was no staff in the hostel, only self-check in. Everything was extremely messy and weird, looks like some place straight out of a horror movie. There were two guys in the common area that were totally high and didn’t even move, I thought they were junkies. The room didn’t have a window and was mouldy. Worst experience in my life. Even cheap hostels in Asia are better than this!

- Marianna (4/5): Majoituspaikassa olisi potentiaalia jos joku imuroisi ja pyyhkisi pinnat siellä. - Olimme matkalla Freycinet National Parkiin ja yöpymispaikan sijainti oli meille erittäin toimiva. Majoituspaikalla oli myös ilmeisesti monia eri yöpymisvaihtoehtoja (jettu huone, teltta, asuntoauto?). Lisäksi palvelu oli ystävällistä ja vieraanvaraista. Käytössämme oli yksityinen neljän hengen huone. Itse kiinteistö oli ok, mutta huoneessa oli paljon hämähäkkejä, kuolleita ötököitä ja hämähäkinseittejä kaikkialla. Myös huoneen kokolattiamatot olivat imuroimattomat ja pintoja ei selvästi oltu pyyhitty pitkiin aikoihin. Yleisissä tiloissa oli tunkkainen hikinen haju ja keittiö oli likainen. WC- ja suihkutilat olivat melko modernit, mutta hämähäkinseittejä ja isoja hämähäkkejä oli sielläkin.

I mean I don't expect 5 star luxury in a backpackers hostel but I do expect toilet paper in the communal bathroom, a hot shower and a clean kitchen. All three of these basic amenities were sadly lacking during my stay. Also the communal area is clogged with laundry items and bicycles.

- James (9/5): Great Stay & Better Price - Overall the hotel was nice, the kitchen is pretty big and has everything you need to cook a great meal! The living space was also nice with the fireplace and TV, but also couches if you just wanted to chill. For the price it was fine, although it does need a bit of a clean up. I would stay again as the price is great for a few nights while travelling in the area. It could be a bit more clean, the kitchen needed a good scrub. But you're also sharing the place with many other people. All in all it's fine for a hostel in a fairly remote part of Tasmania.

- Alyssa (1/5): Most disgusting unsafe place I’ve ever seen. - Nothing. There was no lock or keypad to get into the entire building. And also no lock or keypad on the rooms. So ANYONE not paying to stay there could get in. And considering it’s right next to a pub, it’s not a great feeling to think that a drunk man can just climb into my bed if he feels like it. When I voiced my concerns about the locks the guy working said “don’t worry there’s tradies coming in at 2am so you’ll be safe”. That’s actually 10x worse. These tradies set off fire alarms in the morning and no guests had warnings. The only person working there smelled disgusting like body odour. Everything was disgusting. There was bags everywhere, no lockers to put any belongings. The kitchen looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in 5 years. The bathrooms were putrid, with only 1 working toilet. Carpets haven’t been vacuumed ever. If this place closed forever it would not be a bad thing.

- Sébastien (8/5): Excellent hostel entre Hobart et Freycinet NP - L'établissement est situé sur la route de Freycinet NP, ce qui permet de faire un stop entre l'atterrissage et la visite du parc National. L'établissement est facile à trouver et très tranquille avec un billard comme divertissement. Les toilettes et douches se situent dans un bâtiment à part mais sont très propre.

- Sebastian (3/5): Run! Don’t walk. - This place wasn’t my favourite but it got the job done for one night. If you’re really desperate it might be worth it and it’s reasonably priced if there’s no other option. The place was incredibly dirty and most of the people seemed like long-term residents. While the person who helped us check in was very helpful, I’m not a expert on personal care but the body odour was overwhelming. The whole experience was suffocating for someone with low standards. We knew it was a backpackers’ place and what could happen but the pictures and reality were vastly different.

- Paloma (6/5): it's ok - The comfort of the bed is probably what I liked the most. The hostel is extremely cheap, so it doesn’t feel fair to talk much about the things I didn’t like. I think it’s an acceptable room with amazing common areas, but unfortunately most people don’t take good care of them. I also wish the bathroom had been cleaner, but as I said, it’s very cheap, so it’s hard to expect more. For one night, I would stay again.

Es la primera vez que me he marchado de un hostel, no debería estar abierto y Booking NO debería tenerlo en su portfolio. Si llega sanidad lo cierra. Ni gratis y espero que me devuelvan cada dólar, tuve que buscar un hotel por la zona a ultima hora.

- Georgia (1/5): Worst place we've ever stayed - Nothing No one was there to meet us on arrival and our door key code was left out in the common room where all the other guests had access. Our room door was left open and it was full of flies, mosquitoes, spiders and moths. There were cobwebs and dead bugs everywhere, and dust on every surface. The bed was super creaky and the lamps were all broken. We found an old dirty sock under the bed. The shared bathrooms were grimy and had poor ventilation. This is the worst place we've stayed by far.

I have stayed at many hostels in my life (and I’m not too picky) but this hostel is so disgusting - do not go there, trust me. The kitchen was so dirty (see pictures) that I did not even want to cook or put any food in the fridge which was filled with old food. The bathrooms were so dirty that I did not even take a shower. It feels like this place has been abandoned. I wish I had followed my gut feeling from the reviews I had read. Trust me - anywhere else is better than this.

We didn't want to believe the other reviews, but we're here to say: believe them. The place was worse than expected. The bathroom and toilet facilities seemed like they hadn't been cleaned for years. The kitchen was also dirty. It is frustrating that the hostel seems to be putting all the blame on guests/permanent residents, but the hostel has responsibilities towards paying customers as well. We paid, but the only thing we got out of this stay was a bed. And who knows how dirty that was.

- Helene (1/5): Jeg vil stærkt fraråde dette sted - Personalet havde lagt vores nøgle med mine personlige oplysninger og koden til vores værelse i fællesområdet. Døren til vores værelse stod åbent, sengene så ikke redte ud og der lå biller på sengene. Da vi spurgte om der kunne være et andet værelse ledigt, stillede en medarbejder (muligvis ejeren eller en manager) sig op og gjorde højlydt grin med os foran det andet personale og andre gæster. Vi var der i 20 minutter, før vi tog vores ting og gik derfra. Aldrig har jeg følt mig så dårligt behandlet på et overnatningsted.

- Ignace (3/5): Slechte hygiëne en misleidende foto's - De accommodatie kwam totaal niet overeen met de foto's. De badkamers en toiletten waren vies, met veel haren en schimmel. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte stonk en was een rommel, net als de tuin. Uiteindelijk hebben we besloten om een andere accommodatie te zoeken en hier niet te verblijven, omdat het te smerig was en absoluut niet voldeed aan onze verwachtingen op basis van de foto's.
