- Martin (9/5): Schickes Hotel in toller Lage - - Tolle Lage direkt gegenüber vom Bondi Beach. - Sehr schönes Gebäude von 1914. - Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und hatte zwei kleine Balkone. Wir hatten sogar Meerblick. - Gut gefüllte Minibar (nicht gratis!). - Im Hotel gibt es ein Restaurant, eine Bar, einen Bottle Shop und eine kleine Spielhalle. - Wir waren an einem Samstag dort, daher gab es abends Livemusik (EG) und DJ (1. Stock). - Eher teuer. - Vor 1 Uhr nachts kann man (zumindest samstags) eher nicht schlafen, da es sehr laut ist (s.o.).

- Peter (8/5): Beautiful Bondi and great hotel - Excellent location. Spacious room with good view over the beach. Came with a warning about the noise but the music stopped pretty early and wasn't an issue for us. The elevator was a tad scary.. weird noises :)

We had to go thru the back stairs which was awful filthy and smelly. It was a shock. Luckily the elevator was repaired and we only had to negotiate those stairs twice. - KlaudiaCL (8/5): Location, spacious with fun and friendly staff - Location was perfect for us, right on the beach, yes, if you want to be in bed by 9 pm, you will hear the excitement, but why stay in Bondi if you want peace, it's not the place or the beach for that. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom could use a facelift. Not much, perhaps some areas can use a spruce up.
- Tom (8/5): Great beachfront and lively location, plenty of space. - Best location in Bondi - perfect (Campbell Parade) for Bondi Beach in one direction and Hall Street cafes and shops in the other. The rooms were spacious with a large living area in addition to the bedroom. The bed had a strange bump in the middle so wasn’t so comfortable. On the second day housekeeping didn’t make up the room. One night we had to dispose of a large cockroach in the living area (but that’s to be expected most places in Australia!). It can be noisy here, there is a live music bar two floors down: whether this is viewed positive or negative depends on your expectations of Bondi - it’s a lively place and we enjoyed being in the centre of activity. If you want peace and quiet don’t go beachfront.

Nicely decorated and high end amenities (5* hair dryer, 5*bed, 5*TV and 5* smeg kettle). Felt very safe. stayed mid-week so noise was low, could still hear some music but not once i put my earplugs in. Not an issue for me but could be for some light sleepers. A wine smell in the corridor but not in the room.

I knew we were in trouble as soon as we got to reception and saw the dirty floor and all the Junk in the cupboards behind....then the creaky lift, then all the chipped paint on the doors heading to our room. Inside the room was just as bad, chipped furniture with doors that didn't close, stained sofas, water damaged carpet, bed that you could feel the springs on. I sat on the bed, grabbed my phone and booked the Sheraton in the city, called an Uber and left without even sleeping there.

- Guarino (6/5): Chequem se o banheiro e quarto estão no mesmo andar !!! - Localização ideal para quem quer ficar em bondi beach. A poucos metros da praia e de icebergs pools, assim como de vários restaurantes, cafés e sorveteria . Conforto do quarto . No meu quarto , o banheiro e o quarto estão em pisos diferentes, o que é um grande inconveniente, especialmente durante a noite . A cama/ colchão e travesseiros não são bons. O quarto não tem cortina o que gera claridade a noite . Praticamente não consegui dormir durante minha estada no hotel e tive que antecipar minha saída em um dia em função disso .

Wir hatten einen grossen Spalt bei der Balkontüre, wo es reingewindet hat & es dadurch noch lauter von Aussen reinkam. Unsere Türe konnte sich nicht mehr verschliessen, weil ein Teil kaputt war, das konnten wir dann selbstständig reparieren.

Bed was very comfortable! The view and location is a great bonus also. Though there is warning of the noise from downstairs it is quite loud, other than that can’t fault the stay

Waking up early and walking the promenade or racing up and down the cliff line to Coogee, before returning to Bondi for a coffee and bagel....just mint. As others have noted (and the booking system warns), if you need absolute silence to sleep then don't stay here or expect to go to bed late.
- Didier (7/5): Noisy Bondi beach experience - Location Nice room The hotel informs guests that it can be “lively” but there was a techno party below our bedroom till 1 am. With single glass windows and poor noise insulation it was impossible to sleep. When I complained about it the staff recommended ear plugs 🤷. We paid more than 500 aud a night and was completely not worth it.
- Alexander (4/5): Clean and spacious rooms but extremely noisy - The hotel is located on the beach front with access to shops, cafes, bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. The hotel rooms was spacious and super clean. The hotel advertise live music and that this is a noisy venue. We stayed over New Years so expect this music to continue until late. However three nights in a row there was booming music right through to the early hours, making sleep impossible. We slept no more than 4 hours each night. The boom and bass vibrating the hotel floor was not the live bar music you may expect, it was like staying above a nightclub. On balance if you are not joining the party downstairs I wouldn’t recommend staying here during the busy party season.

- Belinda (10/5): The best view in Bondi. - Stayed in the loft room for the 2nd time. LOVE ❤️ this room. Check in is fabulous, the hotel even sent through a pre check-in email to see if there was anything we needed for our week stay which was so thoughtful. The view, such an amazing view. Seriously, this is the best balcony ! The room felt fresh, super clean and as before, was well stocked with awesome products, Leif toiletries, Laughing Pug coffee. The bed is super comfy, the shower super hot with excellent water pressure, and the best Hotel location. Huge thanks to Bella who was so accommodating with all our special requests. Thanks also to Sofia and the amazing housekeeping team. So sad to leave , can’t wait to return. Thank you all so much for a wonderful week. Having to leave .

- Shafie Yahya (9/5): Couple Queen. - The scenery from the room facing the bondi beach ⛱️ and sea 🌊 was amazing. Comfy bed. Accessible to buses to bondi junction. Good Cafe and restaurants near by to go. Highly recommended for couple to go. No bidet in the toilet maybe shld consider to install it.

- Joanna (8/5): Great bar with snacks and location, rest terribly anoying - Location is great. Bar and restaurant are 10/10. Great snacks and staff. I was upset about many things: -my room was like a dinosaur- huge but ridiculous. I have never been in such an unlieveable appartment- really ridiculous: you get in and … stairs! on the first floor there is only a bathroom. Looks nice but no electricity socket, no bin. Eat your cotton swabs with a wet hair. No hair dryer, no socket to plug it anyway. So-bring your trash upstairs. At the first floor since there is nothing but the bathroom would be nice to hang a jacket or … anything. But its an empty space, and a bathroom. So lets go up ( remember you have to go down in the middle of the night if you need to pee , also find staircase light). Main Appartment: no sockets by the bed, ok there were some but really well hidden. Kitchenette: still no trash can, no rag to dry your hands. All supply in a drawers so takes a while to unwrap a kettle…. But lets get back to the wet hair. In the main appartment many sockets but… no mirror. There was a mirror but rather decorative one over the sofa. All together building has great potential , but the way they adapted it- very uncomfortable. - forget having a breakfast, morning coffee or even smoke at that tarace- opens at noon. -bar/snacks etc opens at noon. By noon you can only take a sit in kind of non existent lobby. - rather unfriendly reception.

- Maria (7/5): Pleasant stay otherwise but too loudy for us - The hotel was stylish and rooms were clean. The balcony was nice. Location is superb. Even though we were in the upper floor suite, we could hear and feel the music and vibration of the bass in our room and couldn’t sleep until the hotel bar was closed.

- Ingridy (8/5): - Lovely hotel for an overnight stay in a very convenient and beautiful location, with gorgeous views from the room. I really appreciated the thoughtful touch of the complimentary welcome drinks card for the downstairs bar, and the room minibar had a great selection of quality brands and products. One thing to note: there’s a party downstairs that goes on until around midnight, so if you’re not planning on joining in or you’re a light sleeper, it might not be the best fit.
