The breakfast was fresh and well presented. It left us so full we didn't need to have lunch. We will be back. Nothing everything was great

The room faced the river, a lovely outlook and it was huge, so much space. A great stay and would highly recommend. It was very quiet even though the hotel was full. Nothing.

Great size bathroom. Even though there was ice/frost a couple of mornings the room was cozy even without heating. I only wish there was a small “dining” table in the suite for 3 that you could sit at to eat.

- Norm (9/5): Always happy to stay here - We enjoyed a previous stay at the Lawson and were happy to choose it again. It is very comfortable with lots of space and a full complement of in-room facilities. The room has a large kitchen area with full size fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle and plenty of dishes, cutlery and glasses. Bathroom is a good size. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when we were trying to get the washing machine to work. It is a short walk to the main street and shops, while the riverside walking track is just outside the complex. All good.

See attached photo - only 2 tiny water glasses and the same in wine glasses. The room was large enough to easily accommodate a king sized bed. While these are minor, petty complaints they can be easily improved.

- Maree (10/5): We love The Lawson, have stayed many times, excellent in every way. - We love The Lawson. With extended family in the area, we have stayed here many times over the years. It is consistently excellent. Very comfortable with lots of space. A large kitchen area with large fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle and plenty of dishes, cutlery and glasses, great bathroom, soft couches and tables and chairs to eat from. Staff go over and above care and support, from reception through to cleaners. It is within a couple of blocks of the main street, near all shops, so within walking distance. Nothing. That's why we stay there. There is nothing else we want.

A small bag of breakfast supplies was in the room, as well as tea, coffee, cups,plates and cutlery. Our room was upstairs which isn’t yet a problem for us, will probably remember to ask for a downstairs room in the future. The booking stated ‘breakfast included in price’. Turned out an extra $50-60 would be added to the quoted price if we wanted breakfast . We were happy to just have the small breakfast supply provided in the room as we already had own supplies in our esky.
