Guest Reviews
- Lynette (10/5): Convenient and clean - Convenience It was great
- Mel (10/5): -
- Bryan (9/5): A nice place to spend our 2 days - A Nice cottage, quiet and well appointed. Close to town
- Cherie (10/5): If we could give 12 out of 10, we would. Lovely accommodation, comfy bed, well stocked even supplying a loaf of bread, - See below Nothing. Liked everything.
- Debra (10/5): - Well presented, modern accommodation with a quaint old fashioned decor. Lovely feel about the place. Well kept rounds. Close to local attractions.
- Teresa (10/5): Excellent clean and very comfortable - Location was great for the north west There was nothing we didn’t like
- Richard (8/5): Beautiful surroundings in a clean and old worldly cottage - The quietness in well kept grounds Nothing
- Barbara (9/5): -
- Edmeades (10/5): -
- Amanda (10/5): Perfect!! Will definitely stay again! - Excellent location, quiet and glorious to look at. The room had everything you could need and more. Was great to relax and watch a dvd and cook a meal while away. The grounds are gorgeous and the owner is so well organised. Check in and out was a breeze. THANK YOU! Not a complaint, just a wish. Would love an upgraded lounge for warm movie night snuggles.
- Elaine (10/5): - Loved the garden location beautiful and tranquil
- Xuye (4/5): - This was an unpleasant accommodation experience because it was along the street and the sound insulation was poor. Every morning around 4am, the second floor bedroom could hear the sound of cars passing by along the street. The most unsatisfactory thing is that we stayed for several consecutive days, and every morning at 7 o'clock, the fence between this house and our neighbors started construction, causing very loud noise and talking. If you are a tourist on vacation, you need to consider carefully.
- Erez (10/5): - A great place, very quiet and private, close to Stanley and Tarkin drive.
- Julie (5/5): We did not stay there. - The "collection" is a range of properties at different locations. This is not clear on the booking information. I thought I had booked a cottage on a property outside town, but it was actually a townhouse in an urban street overlooking a bus depot. The owners were understanding and we stayed elsewhere. The properties need to have separate listings if there are at different addresses.
- Tania (10/5): - The accommodation is relaxing and the owner if very helpful and friendly perfect place to relax and unwind
- Lyndal (9/5): Nice place to relax. - Peaceful and quiet. Lovely gardens. A bit far out from the closest town.
- Ron (10/5): Delightful, comfortable,7 fairy-story elegance - This is a delightful cottage that seems to be straight from a fairy tale. We loved staying there and would very happily return if we get back to Smithton. The cottage is very spacious and well equipped. The wifi/internet was very poor, and this was our only disappointment with this venue. (Mobile coverage is also poor in the area.)
- Yolanda (10/5): We had a terrific stay here , and we definitely would stay again when back in town - One of the most well equipped Airbnb I have stayed in. Loved the nice touch of a fresh loaf of bread butter condiments . Perhaps a couple of washing machine pods to do a small wash .
Didn’t love the taste of Smithton water, that an acrylic water jug to go in fridge , water always taste better if it settles for a day .
- Maria (9/5): - Quiet location and everything we needed for our stay.
- Perry (10/5): Magnificent! - Magnificent cottage. We travelled as a couple and found it spacious and comfortable. The decor is tasteful. The spa was an added bonus. Excellent beyond expectations. Not applicable.
- Jarvis (9/5): Excellent facility. - No breakfast provided, we did our own cooking and the equipment and cooking facilities were more than adequate. No complaints at all. If anything at all, the bed was a bit over the top with its frilly top canopy but that's just a personal opinion.
- Alan (10/5): - Exceptional place. Extremely well appointed. Very comfortable.
- Christer (9/5): Weekend exploring - Location and the nice, warm feeling of the cottage. The very narrow driveway. The lack of a walk in shower
- Kylie (10/5): - Cute cottage, very comfortable, spacious bathroom. Owner goes above and beyond with thoughtful touches to make your stay enjoyable.
- Christine (6/5): - Location was good. Cottage was surrounded by a beautiful garden and was a good size Cottage was dated and not particularly clean or well kept. We were disappointed that the fireplace was bordered up with a picture of a fire and was unusable. A fire would have been great considering the weather. The kitchen supplies were very limited. A pan you could use on the stove top and a dish rack would have come to good use for us.
- Marcus Vowels (10/5): - The cottage was beautifully adorned, furnishing were fantastic, kitchen well fitted out and with a range of breakfast foods, bed very comfortable and bathroom shower and spa bath excellent. Heating very adequate. Quiet site. Lounge slightly softish.
- Kok Chu (9/5): -
- Alain (9/5): - The spa. The bed. The view.
- Theo (10/5): Happy stay in the country - Everything was great All good

- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Curtis (9/5): Superb - Roomy, good kitchen
- James (9/5): Home away home. Very well equipped & stocked. It’s obvious that a lot of thought has gone into ensuring the guests f - Almost everything. The location & the neighbours.
The property was in a residential area, which was not specified in the description, & the next door neighbours were incredibly loud.

- David (8/5): Quiet stay inthe countryside - Self contained 1 Bedroom chalet with everything we needed
- Julie (9/5): Superb - The townhouse is very modern and well equipped. Everything we needed was there. We are both a bit older did the stairs were difficult for carrying bags up and down.
- Debbie (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely homely and peaceful cottage in a fantastic location between Smithton and Stanley, ideal for couples wanting a relaxed atmosphere. I would love to stay here again when we visit Tasmania again 🙂 That we couldn’t stay for longer 😞 so beautiful
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional - Could improve the lighting it seemed dim for reading
- Shelly (10/5): Exceptional - The townhouse was lovely. Very neat, clean and comfy. There was ample space for my mother and I. We appreciated the bread and cereal provided.
- William (9/5): Great place - except for weak Wifi - The townhouse was comfortable, quiet, well maintained, nicely decorated, and very clean. The provided food (bread, cereal, etc) was a surprise and much appreciated. The WiFi signal was not acceptable and was located in the adjacent unit. So you cannot stream videos or hold a video call. Email usually was fine -- if you sat near the kitchen window. A nearby Extender should be added to boost the signal to this unit.
- Vicky (10/5): Exceptional - The house was very beautiful and so clean. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and also the few different cables at the TV station, which was amazing. The location is easy to get to the north coast area . I'm looking forward to staying there if I visit Tasmania next time .
- Patricia (9/5): Very relaxing. - It felt really homely.

- Anonymous (10/5): Excellent accommodation in Smithton. Much enjoyed staying there. - We were changed from the Cottage to the Townhouse by the owner and found it to have everything we needed. It was very well designed and played out. The driveway was steep with a bend to go past the house. Had to reverse if there were 2 cars there.
- Jaques (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable & spacious property. The host was able to let us extend our stay a few more days, when we were unwell & couldn't travel .
- Greig (10/5): A beautiful , well priced place to stay. Easy access and distance to the Rarkine. - We stayed in the modern townhouse. It was lovely. Had everything we needed.
Very clean. The included breakfast items were a nice surprise. Nil
- Sharon (9/5): Beautiful relaxing quite place. With lots of cottage things that made it homely. Lovestyle propert - It was basic bread, cereal would have been good if had spreads or jams for toast. Not eniugh coffee, teas for adults staying. Couple of things..
Change of towels extra toilet paper for the 4 days to cover the adults staying.
No linen for the fold out bed seattie 4 person stayed at alternative place.
The seattie needs a good vacation once it is set up as a bed.
However those things were minor and we will most certainly stay jn the future.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Kez (8/5): Very good -
- Judyvw (10/5): perfect comfortable stay - location clean comfortable cosy cottage nothing

- Barb (9/5): Superb - Comfortable bed. Within walking distance of the CBD. Full kitchen facilities.
- Ian (8/5): Very good - Convenient location to get to our preferred tourists attractions. Parking was undercover which was a bonus
- John (8/5): Good place to stay. - The position was good easy to get to shops in Smithton. Comfortable beds, good heating garden and laundry facilities. Nothing real stood out, however, bigger bowls for pasta would be an advantage.

- Margaret (9/5): Superb - It was a lovely place, quiet and close to town. Very comfortable
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional - It was so homely and comfortable. Very clean, everything you needed when tripping around such as self-catering and free laundry facilities. I would not hesitate to stay again and highly recommend you do.
