- Donna (5/5): - Good location. Clean and tidy Towels delivered 3 hours after check in. No bathmat or washing up cloth supplied at all.
We got what we paid for which was a dated shabby unit in tired unkept surroundings.
- Frank (3/5): Apartment in a run-down building in central Port Macquarie. Depressing - Central location The apartment was located in some sort of social housing building and was old
- Alan (10/5): Relaxing and comfortable - Excellent location and friendly staff
- Guest (4/5): - The inside of the room was basically clean and the bed was clean. Very tired and poorly maintained property especially outside.
- Joanna (1/5): Couldn’t get out of there fast enough - Nothing Everything. Very old. Very run down
- Michael (8/5): Great - Very comfortable lounge, great views, great value for money. Bathroom needs work
- Hill (9/5): -
- Nathan (8/5): - Staff were amazing, had to do early check in and the room was ready when needed.
So thankyou to the staff.
- Danielle (7/5): -
- Belinda (2/5): Save your money and go somewhere else!!! - Not a lot!!!! The location was good - walking distance to shops The rooms itself was very outdated, half the lights didn’t work and the remote to the light switches fell off everyone you tried to use it . No lifts so had to walk to flights of stairs!!! Could hear the rooms above us and beside us , street noise as well!!!
- Boticario (10/5): - Yes, the place is good, clean and the owner is friendly
I recommend these apartments to anyone
- Tain (5/5): Big rooms, great location but very dated. - Location, bug rooms, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff It was very old and while clean, it’s very tired.
- Josh (5/5): -
- Debbie (7/5): Short stay - Easy access
Close to town Dated, needs repair
Needs deep cleaning.
- Sally (7/5): -
- Leone (4/5): - Its location It was very rundown
- GAIL (6/5): - Not applicable
- Rita (3/5): Would not book here again - Not much Check in was 2pm and I had to wait outside the locked door of reception for 15 minutes until someone met me. I was then met by a dog with its owner.
There were holes in the bathroom wall and roof.
The room smelt musty.
- Coburn (9/5): Superb -
- Philip (6/5): Served its purpose. - The location is difficult to beat, very close to the beach & town centre. The building is very old & tired, it’s clean & comfortable, best placed for a nights rest when travelling but perhaps not so appealing for a longer stay.
- Jamie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sharyn (1/5): Did not stay as place was not secure and dirty and apparently fly going to be demolished in a couple of months so no mai - Nothing No lift up 3 X flights of stairs. No secure parking. Drilling workmen started at about 7am on property. No lighting over stairwell. Environment not clean. No water views.
- Suzi (4/5): Disappointing -
- Phone (3/5): Disappointed. - We did not receive four towels for the shower. The bedsheets were not very clean, and the ceiling fans were extremely dusty. There was no bulb in the bedside lamp. The apartment also appears quite old and in need of maintenance.
- Shannen (3/5): Poor - Location was good. The apartment was filthy.
Shower had mould, lounge dirty, apartment had dust on furniture, bobby pins on the floor and a dirty nappy under the single bed.
Cleaners really need to improve their standards.
- Troy (1/5): Never do I want to rate a stay low, but this was a horrible apartment and stay experience. - Close to the water and shops Filthy plates upon entry.
Bed sheets were dusty.
Noise above us all night. Dogs running around.
Run down. Little to no upkeep or maintenance on the room we had.
Broken chain lock on the door.
Fan in bedroom didn’t work.
- Maryann (6/5): Pleasant -
- Marricel (1/5): Terrible, couldn’t wait to leave. - Nothing, couldn’t wait to leave It was filthy, falling apart and had maintenance issues that were unattended. There was an open ceiling above the shower with spiders and cobwebs. the whole place had a stench. The carpet was revolting. The parking options were limited and felt unsafe.
- Geoff (1/5): Bad - Nothing Smelly, water leaking from the wall in the bathroom, globes on bedside tables all blown, holes in the bathroom ceiling etc etc
- Ariel (5/5): Quick overnight stop. - Nicole was friendly and professional and the after hours check in process was easy.
Central location however we were only there as a stopover for one night.
The apartment was clean for the most part and the beds were comfortable. There were some red-ish spots on the walls of the smaller bedroom which we wiped off with antibacterial wipes as they were right against the beds.
The building was dated and worn and not having lights in the common hallway made it a bit challenging lounging bags and children up to the second floor.
The apartment upstairs was very loud but upon informing Nicole of the disturbance, she did contact them and the noise lessened significantly.
- Thomas (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Dianne (8/5): Very good -
- Tracy (8/5): Very good - Location was great Rooms were a bit dated but still comfortable for a family of 4
- Sasha (5/5): Passable - Location, art decor building.
There is no other building like it in Port and it should be treated by the community as a local gem which needs to be protected and nurture like a dying species.
I hope the owners can help the prevention of any garsly new build on its site. A new build would never have the same feeling and nostalgia as waterview has now and/or in its prime. Its apart of Port Macquarie holiday history.
However she needs alot of love and a lick of paint but the potential is endless due to the art decor facade of the building.
- Amy (5/5): Passable -
- Shariful (9/5): Superb - It's a very old apartment, but It has everything a family needs, including a full kitchen. Clean, comfortable, it has two bedrooms. Receptionist Nicole was friendly. Nothing really, except unusable car parks. But there were other areas to park.
- Aaron (7/5): Good -
- Bindi (9/5): Superb - Loved everything. We booked 2 rooms for a family gathering and it was perfect. Pool was lovely temp, beach could not be closer, great rooms and everything you needed was already there. Walking distance to cafes, pubs, fast food, shops. Very safe and secure. I didn't like that we had to go home again.
- Sinha (4/5): Disappointing - Blinds missing Walls in room are dirty and mould
- Jedda (4/5): Won’t return - The size of the apartment was good. The bathroom was very mouldy, the blinds were broken and didn’t cover the light from outside, which was especially an issue in the kids room. The noise from the street was not blocked out by the thin window panes. And some of the cups in the cupboard were dirty.
- Jacinta (3/5): Great location. Poo accomodation - Location Extremely outdated facility. Lights didnt work in the staircases and in the second bedroom. Mould in bathroom.
- Nichole (10/5): Exceptional - We drove for 13 or so hrs. Nicole was more than happy to hand the keys over for us to have a much needed shower and a good sleep. Self contained was perfect for a quick brekkie for us to be on the move again
- Jooli (4/5): Good location, barely acceptable cleanliness, BRING A TORCH! - Great location, walking distance to supermarket and restaurants Sheets and beds are clean, but general cleanliness (especially flyscreens) are less than expected.
ZERO lighting in general areas, making the stairs a total hazard after sunset. There were timed switches, but nothing works outside of the apartment
- Aimee (8/5): Very good -
- Jeff (10/5): A great night’s rest. - Extremely accommodating a late arrival. Very comfortable short stay All good.
- Jennifer (5/5): Passable -
- Paul (7/5): Great value - Long trip to get there and the beds were fantastic All our needs were met so like everything
- Bruce (6/5): just overnioght - location with easy walk to town old building with noise issues from neighbouring apartments.
- Andrew (7/5): Good -
- Janet (3/5): Poor - No lighting in stairwell , 3 levels. Very dangerous. Very antiquated building being ripped down soon. No business being a reputable site like booking. Com.
Very disappointing. No lighting in stairwell , 3 levels. Very dangerous. Very antiquated building being ripped down soon. No business being a reputable site like booking. Com.
Very disappointing. Tv remote didn't work. Reported, but not fixed. Garbage left in public areas. No bin.
- Hermann (5/5): We stopped overnight on our raodtrip from Brisbane to Sydney. The facility was simple, but clean. - The apartments are in an old building which will be replaced in the nearer future. It is a very short walk to the river walk. the harbour is about 15min on foot, the beach is closer. The aparztment was clean and all advertised components did exists. nevertheless, one did feel the age of the facility.
- Bankstown (5/5): Passable -
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (4/5): It feels like this property will soon be torn down to build a new one Soil test drilling was happening from 7am to 5 pm - Location No light in stairwell very dark, dangerous
Paint peeling
Kid thumping upstairs
Couch smells
Only 1 wash cloth for 3 people.
Towels thin, mine was a rag
Noisy, thin walls
1 smoke detector
Fan dirty
Junk around stairwell
Heavy machinery started at 7am
No milk
Very tired property. Needs renovation.
- Erin (2/5): Very poor - Good location Unclean, felt unsafe, and over priced for what it was
- Angela (9/5): Good value for money - Good location, tidy clean
- Michael (5/5): Passable - Location was good The accomodation was run down and old, the bed was uncomfortable,
- Crystal (1/5): If you don’t want to sleep then go ahead and stay here - The location was great The noise from other people staying there we had elephants above us that screamed and yelled and stomped non stop
Tried ringing management as well as
Going down stairs it was always closed I even sent messages no one got back to me
- Wally_81 (4/5): Good value for money to stay overnight - Location and good WiFi Small eating area, rundown looks
- Belinda (5/5): Passable -
- Vicky (5/5): Central to town. - Close to everything It was very rundown. Lights didn’t work in the stairwell (very dangerous) no Remote control light and fan didn’t work. Toaster didn’t work.
- Debbie (10/5): Exceptional - It was great we woke up to a spectacular view. We arrived when it was dark so had no dea of what we would see . Beach views amazing. The apartment was nice bathroom so clean. Would stay again No lighting on the stairs very dangerous and the 2nd bedroom light didn't work either. Noisy people up and down stairs and slamming doors In the middle of the night.
- Monika (4/5): Disappointing - The light is not working even though I booked the accommodation 3 weeks ago. The bathroom door is jammed and doesn't open easily
The door locks are also crooked and the shift manager has to come up to open the door after 9 pm. Asking for refunds, not yet confirmed. Overall experience after calling texting the managers.
- Colin (6/5): Reasonable stay - The lights were not working in the stairwell which was a safety issue. The lights were also not working in the hallway leading to the unit. This was very dangerous The reception was closed even between 9 to 5.The staff when rang promptly came and were friendly.
- Maria (6/5): Pleasant - Could not close the entry door
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (5/5): Passable - the location. close to town centre the rooms were not clean, the door in the second d room was broken and didn't close, the shower was dirty.

- Janet (6/5): Pleasant -
- Stainthorpe (8/5): Very good -
- Maxine (7/5): It was ok for the money. - Location was amazing! The wi-fi & television were not working.
- Daniel (3/5): Basic - The location was probably best part Most of it lights were crazy one remote controlled bedrooms you turned one fan or light on the other room came on too . 1 toilet roll for
3 nights with 3 people . Very dated and not the best stay staff were on from text we got hair dryer broken also and just needs
More tlc
- Sanggeun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Byron (6/5): Pleasant - The position is great. Very roomy apartment. The staff were very helpful. The building is old and tired.
- Komen (7/5): Good -
- Jen (7/5): Basic apartment close to beach & town. - Very dated but clean & tidy. Great location. Light didn’t work in second bedroom after putting in call to management.
- Vince (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (2/5): Very poor - It had walls, floor, ceiling, doors and windows Old and run down, felt like I was at a backpackers lodge.
- Ann (3/5): Poor -
- Wendy (7/5): Good -
- Rodney (8/5): Clean and Comfortable - Clean and comfortable Lights in stairwell weren’t working and made it quite dangerous especially for anyone with mobility issues. I reported it and was told they are working on getting it fixed.
- Michele (7/5): Good - The location was great & it was a good budget stop on our way from the Gold Coast to Sydney. The check-in was easy & it was close to cafes & the coastal walk. It was a budget stop so it was a little tired but we'd stay there again.
- Kopila (7/5): Good -
- Neha (5/5): it was ok for one night - Location was very good Light in one of the rooms was not working. property was very very old.
- Keli (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kylie (9/5): Pet friendly find in a great location - The fact it was pet friendly was my main reason for staying. The location & price & the off street parking were also great features. The staff were friendly & helpful. The water pressure & shower were good. Better security/locks on front door especially
- Sarah (3/5): We just wanted to get out of there the earliest we could - It was just a stop over on the way home so we wanted something cheap.
The kindness of the reception was great There was mould in the air-conditioning and around some of the windows i unstand its old and going to be knocked down but I really think old photos not showing its actual condition is wrong. The parking was horrible.
- Jase (4/5): The Property has been neglected - Location Having to take out rubbish - this should have been covered in the room rate.
The apartment could do with a good commercial clean, top to bottom.
On the night of my arrival the building had no lighting from the ground floor area and stairs leading up to the upper levels - a real hazard and quite unsafe.
Overall the owners need to spend some money cleaning up the whole building and performing general maintenance if it wants to comepte with other accommodation properties in Port Macquarie.
- Sandy (7/5): Great to have a place that accepts dogs - Proximity to facilities was awesome Ticks or bugs on the couch - visible
- Garth (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lyn (8/5): Very good -
