Guest Reviews
- Billie (6/5): -
- Caroline (8/5): Definitely a nice getaway. - The location was nested amongst nature It would have been helpful to know more about what was available in the kitchen. For the rooms there weren’t any hangers in the wardrobe in one room and only 3 in the other room.
You may need to request an iron and ironing board as there was not one in the Cabin.
- Martina (10/5): The surrounding vegetation and birds were fully enjoyed from the verandah. - Fresh, modern, clean, well designed and beautiful fittings. I especially liked the doors. Nothing
- Louise (9/5): -

- Angela (9/5): - The location was perfect, set amongst rainforest, close to National Parks, plenty of freshwater creeks with little swimming holes and some cute little villages to explore. It was also lovely to kick back in the pool after a day of hiking :)
We stayed in the Eco cabins, they were beautifully appointed, loved them. The park also provided and area for us to have a campfire at night to toast marshmallows with the kids. We will definitely be back!! Absolutely nothing negative to say.

- Sarah (10/5): - Beautiful environment, friendly staff.
- Chris (7/5): Just okay... - Cabin was lovely - very clean and well furnished. Location so peaceful. Pool an added bonus. Strange banging noise in cabin - not sure what - like someone throwing a tennis ball at it every few minutes. Maybe air con unit. Staff not exactly welcoming- no information about park, no information about check-out or how to contact staff if needed, just handed the key and off you go. Nobody around in the morning to check-out.
- Spence (8/5): - The entertainment for the children The doors were to easy for my young child to figure out maybe looking into putting a slide latch on the inside of the door would be ideal for future stays
- Anthony Hilton (7/5): Comfortable and quiet - Close to local shopping & natural attractions.
- Grace (10/5): -

- Rebecca (10/5): - Beautiful eco cabin, very comfortable No one at office to check out which delayed our departure
- Grace (10/5): Eco superior cabins are amazingly beautiful and very clean - 🤩The family eco cabin was amazing, beautiful and clean. Staff were approachable and understanding. The creek where I spent most of my time was actually calming. I can see fishes swimming upstream, its top half out of the water while negotiating the boulders. Crayfishes jumping the boulders and one jumped on me🤭. I still couldn’t catch one. Beautiful, amazing and very clean
- Jessica (8/5): - I liked that it has tea and coffee facilities. The room was clean and spacious Only thing was there was no wifi in the room but I guess that's part of the charm of it
- Joan Nikola (10/5): - We where very supriced. Tha house was bran new and very Scandinavian with wooden floors. It was clean and good. There was just a blanket and a sheet, no normal quilts.
- Sonya (10/5): - A beautiful, very comfortable, well-designed and equipped cabin in a stunning location. Walking through the park in the afternoon, we were surrounded by the beautiful scent of gardenias.
- Brittany (9/5): -
- Berty (9/5): - Nice and quiet place, very friendly staff, and a real country location. Phone signal is not really good.
But WiFi was ok.

- Sangster (10/5): - The environment, peace, comfort and quiet. The size and comfort of the space and location People in caravan smoking outside our windows and deck

Heel goed opgelost dus.
- Robert (8/5): Preconference break - Comfortable cabins in a quiet neighbourhood. Good to have free telephone access Poor wifi and sms connection
- Einat (10/5): -
- Glen (8/5): Had a relaxing time here exploring the surrounding area in the comfortable, quiet cabin. - Spacious cabin. Modern decor. Glorious stars at night. Quiet environment. Dodgy TV reception. Sub-standard firepits. Not close to shops.
- Peter (8/5): - We just came and went from our cabin so didn't really experience a lot of the park.
The standard cabin was suitable for us (2) and we were able to heat it fine with the heat pump.
- Chelsey (10/5): Beautiful, relaxing little getaway we needed. - Looks great with the new furnishings and very spacious for a family of four Felt a little unclean in places. Especially under the sofa
- Louise (9/5): Loved this park and was perfect little getaway for me - Great caravan park very welcoming and comfortable Air conditioner will be fixed… heater provided was cosy (if had family it would be best to have air conditioner to reduce fire risk)
- Helena (10/5): - Loves our stay thank you
- Kathleen (1/5): STAY AWAY! - NOTHING!!! We got a little lost but when I spoke to Mark, he said we were at the wrong place. I had rung the number provided and when Mark answered he said he was in his office....The phone went silent. I rang back 5 mins later which is when he told us we were at the wrong place.
Once we arrived and checked in, was given the key, and we headed to our cottage to check it out first. Good thing we decided NOT to stay there.
There was mould on most of curtains which were paper thin, not giving us privacy as they weren't even the same width as the windows, meaning anyone could look in. One cupboard had broken hinges, and the smaller cupboards at the top were useless as they were too high.
In their description it stated there will be a private bathroom & also guest bathroom (indicating that there were 2 bathrooms when in fact it was the same bathroom but with 2 different bathrooms). The wicker armchair on the deck had mould on the cushion, and the outside sofa had a split in the seat.
Once we decided NOT to stay there, we went back to reception, I put the key on the desk saying "We won't be staying here" and I proceeded to outline everything listed above.
- Iraina (9/5): A beautiful place to catch your breath. - Stunning backdrop of rainforests. The rooms had a country retreat feel. Very clean. Great set up for a family of 5 with young kids. The pool was chilly but didn’t bother the kids. We loved our stay. Beds were very soft. But no biggy.
- Esther (8/5): Very good -
- Ali (10/5): Exceptional -
- Erle (10/5): Exceptional - A good accomodation at a gorgeous location.
- Glenn (10/5): Exceptional - Thankyou
- Sandra (8/5): Very good - Beautiful surrounding rainforest
- Santos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barry (8/5): Comfortable. - Cabin was large and clean . Shower was good and hot. Bed was comfortable if a little soft for my taste.
Great perhaps for getaway, but lack of WiFi in room, and eateries near by a slight negative, unless that what you’re after. To be fair storm Albert didn’t help, but did underscore whether location good or bad, depends on what you were looking for.
- Alyssa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mozzybe (8/5): Very good -
- Vesna (7/5): Good -
- Faye (5/5): Passable - Cabin was very clean and comfortable. The only disappointment was that we were not advised that the Cooktop was an Induction Cooktop...people who have a Pacemaker cannot use these. My husband has one and it would have been good to have been aware of this. Was very pleased to have a full size refrigerator. The surrounds had not been mowed, and with the hot weather longish grass is an issue with snakes. In general we were very disappointed with the uncaredfor state of the property ...very different to the pictures shown on the website.
- Gunther (8/5): Very good -
- Landicho (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Marchien (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kay (8/5): Escape to nature and tranquil! - The sound of the spring few steps from the cabin was calming and soothing. The scenery is very refreshing, how about the sound of nature; crickets, lizards frogs and cicadas....so much tranquillity!
There was a fair sized lounge with a couch and dining chairs, double bed and bunk bed that can sleep 2 to 3 kids.
Even though phone network coverage isn't available, there is a public phone booth and free strong wifi for apps like watsapp, etc.
Just carry your food or grab some essentials from Murwillumbah about 14 minutes away. The stove kind of took too long to heat up other than that all great👍
- Maureen (10/5): Relaxing 😎 - Beautiful location Hard to get to by public transport
- Georgie (9/5): Superb -
- Russell (9/5): Superb -
- Malcolm (9/5): Fantastic - Great people, location and hut
- Samantha (7/5): Ok. Too expensive for what it is. - Location was good for walks / hikes Staff were not as friendly and helpful as I've experienced elsewhere. Pool was looking unclean, old and tired.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgia (1/5): Dissapointment - The cabin we stayed in had no aircon ( we were supplied a portable air con) that was the smallest air con and the TV didn't work. The cabin was inhabitable. it was soo hot and you could not stay in there. Not once did we see anyone at the office nor were we greeted by anyone. Just a sign left on the door for our cabin number. Would not return and we left a night early as we were unable to sleep in the cabin that was a hot box. Not advise or sell a cabin that you cannot sleep and stay in and make sure it is up to standard.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andos (9/5): Superb -
- Collins (9/5): Superb - Peaceful
- Trevor (3/5): Not a good trip - Shower hot water and pressure of water good. I killed 70 cockroaches amd dosend of other bugs in the house.
.Mosquitoes everywhere, close to river.
- Zachary (9/5): Superb -
- Kaylah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Milos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (9/5): Great place to stay with exceptionally nice staff. - Lovely location and an excellent cabin.
- Chantelle (4/5): Terrible check in service and after hours staff -
- Darren (5/5): it served a purpose for 2 nights but wasn't really comfortable - The cabins are a little run down and need some basic maintenance. Microwave was so old it didn't even have instructions on the buttons LOL No Wifi in cabins though to be fair they didn't list this but i sort of just expected they would have it give phone service is so bad in the area
- Madussi (9/5): Pleasant - The creek, the surrounds, the cabin was good. The mattress.
- Kelsey (6/5): - We loved the location and the cabin was lovely and clean. Checking in was difficult as we had to find staff to check in, and had the same issue when checking out. Staff weren't very welcoming, and didnt offer any information about the park or facilities.
- Mouree (9/5): Superb -
- Genevieve (7/5): Good -
- Sandra (8/5): Very good -
- Carolyn (10/5): Comfortable - Enjoyed our visit to Mt Warning. We appreciated our upgrade. Our cabin was clean, comfortable and spacious. Park was quiet and small.
- Alison (10/5): A perfect rainforest retreat tucked away at the foot of Mt Warning. - Beautiful, quiet and comfortable with a lovely rainforest view. Great facilities - a perfect rainforest retreat.😄 It was lovely through and through
- George (9/5): Superb -
- Nicole (6/5): Pleasant and basic accommodation in a great location. - Cabin was clean, adequate for our needs, had air/heating, and free wifi Limited crockery and cutlery, no dishcloth or tea towel, no hot water for shower on the last night of stay, musty/mould smell in cabin.
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful area & very comfortable cabin, very well made. Lovely drive there through the area.
- Maarten (8/5): Lovely place close to Mount Warning NP - Lovely place about 1 hour from the Gold Coast - Inland, close to Mount Warning (track to the summit unfortunately closed). Beautiful camp site next to a stream, quiet, peaceful. Lovely reception and staff. Free coffee/tea. Good instructions to find cabin after dark. Great beds, plenty of linen. Amazing and warm shower. Internet choppy (but what do you expect in such a peaceful place). Stayed there on one of the coldest nights of the year (3 degrees C) and with electric heater it got pretty cold. No insulation - temperature inside = temperature outside. Overal only minor things and would definitely stay here again!
- Rex (10/5): - Big rooms clean and quiet
- Morgan (8/5): Very good -
- Sally-anne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (8/5): Gorgeous surroundings. - It turned out that on the 2nd night we needed an e xtra blanket.
It would have been handy to have an extra one in the cupboard.
- Planzer (9/5): we will go again - being in nature ,exploring the surrounding area , the accommodation was in a quiet area , even the little dog came and say hello to greet us the weather ,even so the next day was spectacular
- Chantelle (10/5): Exceptional -
