Natalie (9/5): Lovely 2 night stay. - Stayed in the Waratah unit which we loved being the closest to the river. Was nice sitting on the balcony at sunrise looking out at the water. Comfortable living area and bedroom. Bed comfortable. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Decent cookware. Didn’t use the wood fire but it would have been a nice touch. Was good to have a washing machine and dryer. Had a quick dip in pool and spa which were decent. Brian was such a lovely manager and made sure things were perfect. Would recommend to others and will be back. :) Wifi a little intermittent but no big drama.

Beautiful view from most of the houses . Our had an exceptional view of the river . So lovely to wake up to . Loved the birds and the little touch of providing bird feed. Everyone enjoyed feeding the variety of bird life that were so tame . Maybe slightly expensive for a two night stay . Some books and board games for the kids would have been nice . It shows a games room in the bigger melaleuca house we stayed in but there wasn’t one .

Margaret (10/5): Lovely apartment/houses surrounded by nature - This is lovely accommodation. The houses are generously sized and nestled in lots of vegetation. The neighboring houses are close but we still seemed to have sufficient privacy. We enjoyed watching the birdlife while sitting on the terrace. The accommodation is close to the boardwalk which leads you into Metung. The kitchen is well equipped and we didn't seem to miss anything. The manager was very friendly and helpful. There is little we didn't like. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Don (9/5): A very relaxing experience. - Spacious accommodation, excellent kitchen facilities, huge living area, 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets and very quiet surroundings. Split systems need to be updated as they were extremely noisy. The front door requires a blind for privacy and the bedrooms require blackout blinds.

Highly recommend! - We just returned home from a wonderful experience at the charming property that featured a fantastic wood heater, a thoughtful layout, and an abundance of bird life. The wood heater was the perfect touch, providing warmth and a cozy atmosphere that made the space feel inviting, especially during cool evenings. The layout of the property was well-designed, allowing for both privacy and togetherness. It made it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings without feeling cramped, or woken by a bathroom light! One of the highlights was the vibrant bird life that surrounded the area. Watching the various species come to the little balcony added to the overall tranquility and beauty of the setting. A bit of guidance / instructions for the wood heater, it would have been perfect.

Even the view from the living room covered the river and boats. Might just have to make it a regular yearly visit. A bit of stairs as it is 2 storey but there were 1 storey accommodation as well.

Nature tree views Close up as soon as you open the shades. Incredible room enough for parents to escape upstairs lol . Foxtel Sat for movies series etc, comfy big lounge. Kitchen has good cooking facility’s and bbq on deck. Loved the big fridge for all my mineral water and diet soda. This place is loved, a recycling bin and rubb bin. A/C in every room a bonus, pool and outside spa. This is not just a hotel this is an Experience!! I need to get fit few stairs between levels, if anyone has issues with stairs I know there are other level ones to book. I booked a big cabin high up in hill.

We had a lovely view of the water and sunrises. It wasn’t very modern and it was outdated and dark inside. Some things weren’t working like the tv remotes and door handles.

It was very quiet at night and had the basic required to eat in. It was also a nice walk along the board walk into town. We would have liked basic essentials ie salt, pepper, oil and serviettes.

The swimming pool and hot-tub were used well, as were the balconies of the unit, perfect for outdoor dining or sitting with a book and enjoying the sunshine. Close to the marina and about a 20 minute walk into Metung town centre along the boardwalk made it the perfect location.

Adrian (9/5): Big well appointed apartment - value for money - would recommend - Friendly check in by Brian, told us all about the apartment and area. Large apartment at entrance to Metung village in a small complex of apartments. The living area was particularly spacious and very comfortable. We had a lake view apartment which made it very pleasant but the whole area was nice anyway. Apartment has everything that you need including washing machine and tumble dryer, full size cooker, microwave. Bed was medium size but very comfortable. Lovely looking pool if you are there during the summer. Edgewater is about a 25 min walk from the village along the pretty boardwalk and is nice to wander in to town of an evening. Metung itself has a busy pub where you can get dinner and an Asian Fusion restaurant. Aroma cafe in the village very nice and did a good breakfast. Metung itself is a bit limited for eating and drinking but a lovely picturesque place to stay and relax.
