- Peter (8/5): Cosy, Country Grandhouse - We enjoyed a very spacious, comfortable room with good amenities. The ensuite bathroom was large and very clean. We had access to a lounge and dining area, as well as an outside gazebo. The lounge had a roaring fire, comfortable lounge chairs, books, games and a piano. A port or sherry could also be imbibed. As we had an early departure the next morning, the owner kindly organised our breakfast to accommodate this which was much appreciated. We also had scones with cream & jam & coffee on our initial afternoon arrival.

The common room was equipped with board games, DVDs, piano, and complimentary wine, which gave the whole stay a lovely touch that we truly appreciated.
- Linda (10/5): Excellent accommodation - Received a warm and friendly welcome which made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious and comfortable in this purpose built bed and breakfast. You can walk to town in under 10 minutes crossing a suspension bridge over the river. Facilities include free wifi, DVDs, books, games, complimentary evening port, sherry or wine. The continental breakfast is more than adequate although a cooked breakfast is available at a small fee. The spacious living room has a grand piano if you are so inclined and a beautiful cosy tile fire. We highly recommend this accommodation

The house itself is well appointed with large rooms and comfortable beds. Lee and Ron were so pleasant - a real homey feel to the place. And Lee had some great pointers for us about exploring the town for it's history and architecture. (PS - download the app and do a walking tour if you're able - it's great!!). Breaky was so lovely - anything and everything you could want in a B and B. Thanks!!

- Rose (10/5): Lovely B/B with fantastic hosts - We had a wonderful 2 nights stay at this B/B we are returned guests so know this B/B well, hosts very helpful. Breaky was yummy, room clean nice location close to town.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Comfortable room. Not so in other catergory - Room is neat and comfortable.But that's about all. We arrive at 7pm in winter weather and the sky was already dark by the time we got there. The host met me at the gate and seem very eager to get the introduction over and done with. As we had to get up earlier the next day, i ask if we can have some take away breakfast like ham cheese sandwich and was told there was non of such ingredient as they have yet to go shopping. Not a big issue as we did get some bread and egg and banana. Except that there was hair in the sandwich that was left for us.

- Dave (8/5): Good owners always make a good B&B - We only stayed for the one night but it was a very comfortable stay. Very easy to find and within nice walking distance of the centre of town. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The biggest asset to this B&B is the owners. They are wonderful people and will do anything to make your stay enjoyable.

Host Leanne very warm and helpful. Quiet location near to town. We slept in and were late for breakfast - if you want breakfast after 9am, you must make arrangements the day before - it's worthwhile as breakfast generous (ours included poached fruit, yogurt, croissants etc).

The rooms are nice and the property is well located - a close drive to the town centre. Leanne and Ron provide complimentary afternoon tea, a night beverage as well as the breakfast. There are shared spaces if you want to play board games or relax in front of the fire.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Hidden gem in York - Cosy and comfortable, extreamly clean and Kerrie was an exceptional host. Would recommend to anyone. You can see they take pride in their guesthouse. Loved the tea and cakes on arrival and also cherry, port and wine left out for guests to indulge, I have not seen that before and was very impressed. Also loads of dvds and books for the guests use also. If go back to York I will defiantly stay here.

The king size bed in room 5 was very comfortable, and the scones with jam & cream for afternoon tea were a hit.
