- Roland (10/5): A surprising gem - Every now and then you get a pleasant surprise. From just after booking and confirming my late arrival I was impressed by the friendly and prompt service. When you book budget accommodation, then this is what you expect, but this little gem exceeded expectations by a mile. The owners have clearly been renovating. And whilst the look from the outside is dated, the new bathroom, updates and painted bedroom, comfortable beds and overall fresh look impressed. Great value for money and superior service. Thank you!

One soap dispenser in shower to be used for body, hair and conditioner so bring your own if preferred. No shower cap either (good to know) but we were happy as we were there for a lunch so two nights at the motel. Would go back.

- Michael (8/5): A good stay - The motel may look a bit tired from the front but the rooms were well presented. Micro wave, fridge and coffee making facilties all worked. The beds were comfortable and no road noise. So we slept well and would return. There were several different secure connections for the WiFi. My first choice kept dropping out and so I changed to another - no problems after that.

He suggested that check in was easy and the room was more than adequate. Clean, quiet. He did mention that if breakfast had been mentioned at reception on check in he would have taken them up on the offer, but because it wasn't mentioned he went down the street for breakfast, so maybe for the manager, worth checking with guests as an up-sell opportunity? Otherwise a great overnight stay.

We checked out early Thursday and this wasn’t a problem. Other than microwave being broken the room was great. Staff were helpful.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Good budget option in Campedown - It's looking a little old in parts, but the main thing is that the rooms are relatively quiet, back from the highway, and also quite dark, despite having the truck stop next door. No window on the front of the room means they are private and light doesn't get in. All you need for a comfortable stay at a good price.
