He was prompt and proactive - just as well as the issue happened again the next day! Thank you, Rowan - you made our stay comfortable and stress-free. Lea The stove needs updating - it was a hit and miss with the second hot plate.

We didn’t meet the owner/operator so we’re unable to have it fixed Location was ok bit hilly for my older husband but still not too far from the village

The entry doors have old handles and it's difficult to lock /unlock/take keys out of the locks. The shower would leak and flood the bathroom floor.

• Lois (9/5): A very great stay, we will 110% be back in the summer! - So much within the apartment for guests. Air fryer, ironing board just lots of bits and bobs and very well equipped. I always love that. Very light and a gorgeous bathroom, that was super clean! There was nothing we didn’t like.

• Hannah (1/5): Do not book this accommodation. - Unfortunately there was nothing to like about the property apart from the fact that we got an instant approval for a refund for our room. Room 7 - Dark room, situated below the rest of the property, facing out over the car park. No windows, just the main sliding door, which needed to have curtains pulled across as it was directly in front of the bed. Dirty toilet and bathroom. Crumbs and food debris under the microwave Filthy sofa, couldn’t even sit on it. Within 20mins of arriving we had left to stay somewhere else. Pictures not as advertised. Cleaners have gone AWOL Looking at other reviews, seems like a very hit and miss experience - we had a miss!

• Amanda (7/5): Good quiet location, comfy beds and close to the beach. - The location was perfect for us. Terrigal Beach has great cafes and restaurants. Thankfully we had a car for getting food shopping at Erina Fair. We stayed in #6, up stairs, so the view was nice. The space was lovely and open. For a family of 4 it might feel a little cramped, but the outdoor table was a nice spot for breakfast. The air conditioner wasn’t working, yet for us, the ceiling fans were sufficient. If it was warmer nights it might be a struggle. There were some broken fly screens also. We needed the windows open in the bedrooms so this was only a little concerning. For meal cooking the small appliance worked well, and was ok for us (as we were only there for breakfasts). Perhaps a barbecue might be a nice addition. Parking was good but exiting the driveway was “fun”. I love reversing up hills, yet you’d want to be a confident driver for this. The over bench light fixture kept falling down (it was ‘re-sealed’ with tape). Overall impression - just a few small finishing touches would bring this place back to life.

We really appreciated the complimentary room upgrade for our family. For a short stay, the apartment was perfect. The kitchen amenities were limited, but for a short stay it didn’t matter.

The room was set up in such a homely way, you couldn’t help but feel calm and relaxed. My partner and I also adored the little extra thoughtfulness that went into the details - eg. Cookies, coffee, tea, milk, cereal, chocolates all provided - it was just such a lovely experience feeling so cared for by the place. If I could rate this accomodation 11/10 I would - we will be returning!

• Joseph (4/5): - location and the apartment was nicely set out there was a spider problem ( i had to get rid of 3 huntsmen spiders) basically one every night entry door swung outwards which was dangerous as the entry is only a landing and then a staircase. theres a hole in the bathroom ceiling where the IXL is located so im assuming thats where the spiders are coming from showerhead wasnt secure so it would constantly fall if water pressure was too much

• Kerry (10/5): Fantastic Tiarri - Highly Recommended! - We loved our stay! Our room was private and well appointed, exactly as described in the photos. Our hosts were very communicative and bent over backwards to make sure our room was set up to accommodate my elderly mum comfortably. Beds were very comfortable and everything was spotless, and having a kitchen, full fridge, washer & dryer in the room was so handy; and the small but modern bathroom was just right. We had a garden room with a small garden table & chairs right outside to sit around in the shade of the palm trees. One of the things that made our stay so easy was the relatively level path from the street to our room, making access to our room quick and easy. Not only that, our host knocked on our door on Christmas Day with a gift of homemade cookies. A lovely touch! This is a family business and I was glad I booked Tiarri because the personal touches were everywhere, including Christmas decorations. It’s obvious they go the extra mile to make sure their guests have a home away from home in a quite street away from traffic, but only a block away from the main tourist hub. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tiarri! Just wonderful! There was nothing we didn’t like about Tiarri.

Even though they were not on site, they provided us with all the information to ensure easy check in and out. Nice little touches like leaving the fan on to ensure the room was cool when we arrived. It's only a short walk to the esplanade, but fairly steep in areas, so would not be suitable to walk for people with impaired mobility. However, I would say it should not be a problem for most 'average' people.

It is a little hilly so if you don't like walking up hills you may consider going to local restaurants by car, otherwise it's a short stroll. King size bed and pillows were very comfortable. Room size with a small kitchen and laundry were a good size with a private outdoor courtyard a bonus. Parking is provided for one vehicle too. I'd would love to stay again and recommend Tiarri Terrigal for one night or more. It's also pet friendly. nothing
