The place was central however be try quiet at night. Shower and water pressure were amazing. No cots were available and the room was tiny for the price. However was great to just sleep and shower.

I got in late on the first night and ordered Uber Eats, and when it was delivered, I realised there was no crockery and no cultery. I called the office at just after 6pm, and no response...messaged them on this platform...no response (still nothing a week later). I ended up having to eat stir fry with a tiny teaspoon.

Car parking not amazing even with the extra up the top might need to be graded. Also security lights at night not the best for a single woman to feel safe in

- Schmeeges (7/5): Comfortable room, fine for our 1 night stay. - The bed was extremely comfortable and the room well laid out and furnished. There was no signage with the actual name of the motel so we missed it as the address just looked like a construction site. (We didn't realise it was undergoing major reconstruction, though this didn't impact us) A lovely lady explained where to enter when we rang. We left our room around 6.15pm to walk to a restaurant and the carpark was very dark. It was well lit when we came back, so I suspect it may just have been a timing issue. If you like a large bathtowel and use a showercap, bring your own.

The staff were very helpful and understanding. There were people hanging around the outside which felt unsafe. We didn’t feel comfortable staying there with our children.

The king-sized bed was so comfortable, the linen was excellent quality as were the pillows. They have carried out beautiful renovations. As I read from other reviews, they are renovating the property, so the outside is a bit of a building site, but don't let this put you off.

It had plenty of bench and storage space and was all fresh, clean and lovely decor. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom has ample space with a good size shower and great water pressure. This hotel/motel is in a great location, only a short walk to the town centre, and is great value for money.

- Hoang (9/5): Ticked a lot of boxes for a weekend trip with modern amenities. Clean & comfortable for 2 persons - Clean & tidy motel room which was newly rennovated. Bluetooth phone to TV connection worked great. Comfy bed & linen. Plush bathroom amenities with multiple shower pressure otions. TV not mounted in-line with the bed which is probably due to the space taken up by the small table & poofs. The balconey is nice place to sit & relax but only if you use & see it in low light.
- Brad (1/5): What a sh**hole, at least let people know it under construction and lacking facilities! - Inside rooms were clean Let me start with “What a sh**hole”! Inside the room was OK , despite not having an iron or ironing board, yes I had to attend a public event in a creased shirt, it was good to see two coffee cups, just a shame I had to use my toothbrush to stir my coffee because there is no cutlery, not even a tea spoon. First discovered that after buying a tub of ice cream….. The vinyl bathroom floor and shower is clean but cheap feel. Toilet seat is under size for toilet pan , at least 50mm of pan top visible with seat down. This is a working construction site, reception sign in bench is a drip tray, seriously! Stairs are dangerous, work safe should investigate whether you should still be operating as accommodation during these works. There was no food available, not even snacks! Restaurant is under construction. Having to walk in the rain to find dinner. Then there is what I assume are local permanent residents that like to shout to each other their shopping orders from top level to car park. Worst experience of a stay over I have had, and there’s been some shockers. But seriously, Worksafe Queensland should review this property and access.

- Craig (10/5): Relaxing and easy from start to finish. - A brilliant property. Currently having a bit of a makeover on the outside but don’t let that put you off. Once in your room, it is fantastic. Comfortable beds, friendly staff and close to everything you need in town. A little bit of glass in the car park but there are renovations going. No big deal. We just avoided it.

- Lisa (6/5): - The rooms have been renovated recently and the shower/bathroom was really lovely. Beds were really comfortable. Great location for restaurants and Empire Theatre for a show. A quick wall to both. Half the complex is under construction and some guests need to park in a makeshift space behind the hotel as there is only a few spaces outside the rooms. We were unlucky and had noisy neighbours who came home in the early hours talking loudly and banging on doors of their group, that is not the hotels fault, but something to consider as the location is close to many places to go out for a fun night.

- Peter Keenan (5/5): Wait until all renovations are completed before staying here - Room was clean, modern and the size was ok. Bed comfy. Location was in town close to restaurants Hotel under major renovations and so there was not restaurant facilities including no breakfast. All meals had to be off site but I feel that will be remedied after the renovation. The TV in my room kept on shutting off and took time to come back on only to shut off again. Staff were unable to rectify the situation. I think that given the Renos and lack of facilities the price they charged was way to high.
