Guest Reviews
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Room with bathrom was clean, aircon working well on heat for the cold weather, had 2 meals at the restaurant, was tasty and good portions. They have 3 option for Vegeterian so that was nice, would preferred if there was more options, but I enjoyed the meals, the second meal was pasta and meant to have chicken,,but they were very helpful and cooked it without the chicken which I was very greatful. If you are not into walking to bus stops, you need,a car, or Uber, taxi, about 2.5 blocks to take buses. The other thing the rooms are upstairs, so a bit of an issue with luggage, but was managable. Overall I'm happy I stayed there. Staff was very helpful and friendly, and would like to thank them for their friendly and professional service
- Jessica (8/5): - It was fine
- Bernie (10/5): - No too happy about stairs but apart from that it’s all excellent
- Josh (10/5): - Comfortably all round :)
- Paul (10/5): - Great location
- Karthik (8/5): - Really good value for money. Staff were really friendly and facilities were really good. Not much to do in the area, but not too far of a drive from the city or beach.
- Mark (10/5): - Quick and easy service
- Malcolm (10/5): - Have stayed here 3 times and have always slept well.
- Leonie (10/5): - Nice and quiet. Very clean and comfortable room.
- karen (6/5): - My airconditioner was leaking lots of water onto the carpet.
The carpet had been wet for some time. The wet carpet smell in the room. The room was very hot when I arrived, I could then see why. Notifed them and stated aircon people
were coming tomorrow and there had been problems with the aircom's due to the heat. So very little sleep for me and paid alot of money to stay. Far too much..
- Jorge (4/5): -
Certainly! Here's a draft for a poor review based on those issues:
Disappointing Stay - Lack of Wi-Fi and Excessive Noise
I recently stayed at the Mansfield Park Hotel and, unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The biggest issue was the complete lack of Wi-Fi throughout my stay. In this day and age, reliable internet access is an absolute must, especially for travelers who need to stay connected for work or personal reasons.
Additionally, the noise from the adjacent bar was unbearable. The music and chatter continued late into the night, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. The hotel doesn’t seem to have any effective soundproofing, which is a serious oversight.
Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel unless these issues are addressed. Travelers should look elsewhere if they value a peaceful and connected stay
- Vanessa (6/5): - It was ok, but not nice nice
- Margaret (10/5): - It made you feel close to the City area and also in a serene remote location. Staff were amazing, friendly and always smiling.
- Paul (8/5): - Smoke smell in room
- Yuhui (10/5): - Good
- Taylor (10/5): - Checked in late last night and they were very helpful then letting us sleep in for a bit longer thank you very much Mansfield stuff much appreciated
- WING YAN (6/5): - Stay for 3 nights.
Wifi connection is not stable/reliable
Friendly staff, nice dining area
- Tony (6/5): - older average motel type accommodation
- Glyn (8/5): - It was close to Port Adelaide and i did not have to far to travel
I was able to eat down in the restaurant food nice and great and value.
downside was the entrance to the accommodation was a glass staircase and with the heat of the day i was unable to hold the stainless steel banisters rail should have it an aircon. that day was 40deg in the sun am guessing was a lot hotter in glass entrance
- Ryan (8/5): Good - Nice tidy clean room. Good quality meals in restaurant. Only issue was the hallway enterence to rooms and kitchenette was very hot. Was very unpleasant, needs air-conditioning. Other then that it was a good hotel, will stay there again.
- Lynne (8/5): - The rooms were comfortable and very clean.
- karen (8/5): - Convenient to where I had a work course.
- George (10/5): - We didn’t like to leave. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
- Max (10/5): - will be back
- Salvatore (4/5): - toilet very small...sink..for child! room small
- Terry (8/5): - Overall the property and staff were very good, however, the main concern was the stairs to the rooms. As we are older, access to and from the rooms was difficult to negotiate, especially with luggage. Consideration for a small elevator may be a possible solution.
- Helen (10/5): - Staff were very pleasant and accommodating but they need to let prospective clients know there is no lift and 27 steps to the rooms-as we were elderly this created a problem for me
- Ashley (8/5): - breakfast is ok
- Asra (10/5): - I am visiting this property once a month or twice for my work. The hotel is clean and tidy.
- Vipul (4/5): - Wifi connectivity was zero, there is no lift to go to rooms.
Hotel reception opens late for any communications.
- Sophie (2/5): - The hotel was not as advertised. Extremely disappointed. Was in actuality a sports bar, not a convenient hotel. I have emailed multiple times with no response. Waste of hard earned money. Do not book
- Nikhil (10/5): - Perhaps the only improvement would be in room cups and bowls for the breakfast provided. The room itself was awesome and as per pics. Tracy was excellent at sorting out our issue and ensuring we weren't standing outside in the heat because of missed notes and lack of communication from Vicki.
- Margaret (10/5): - We have stayed there quite a few times and it seems handy to lots of places. It has a bar a restaurant and a bed what more could you ask for!!
- Sammy (10/5): - It was great! Would stay again
- Nikki (10/5): - staff were fantastic
- matt gerard (4/5): - comfy bed...but wifi was not reaching my room..i was just staying for the night though...
- Nola (10/5): - Motel was convenient place to stay and was very comfortable
- Syful (8/5): - Good enough at this rate
- Reece (10/5): - Great spot
- Qi (6/5): - Stayed 2 nights there. First night was really good, queit. Second night there was party downstairs really noisy until mighnight 3am. Couldn't fall asleep.......
- Renae (10/5): - For the price you pay you cant complain. Very convenient for trade school.
- Ria (10/5): - Amazingly friendly service. Goes out of their way to welcome you and make your stay pleasant. Well done to all the staff. Great food too, extra available for those who would like to have extra, all complimentary.
- Thomas (4/5): - Room 10, weak wifi dropping off and drops off all the time. Does not allow multi gadget use wifi, unable to work on line. The aircon was weak and ineffective somewhat
- Verified traveler (10/5): - There was only a few rooms, had everything you could ever need
- Morgan (10/5): - Happy with my stay. Enjoyed the food, recommend the schnitzel😁
- Karen (10/5): - .Easy to find, park the car, staff friendly. All good and no complaints.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Conveniance. Not far from my appointment, all good!
- Jennifer (8/5): Enjoyed our stay - This was a really nice place to stay, eat and relax in. Staff were fabulous. Only one complaint was the stairs to the rooms. No lifts. We didn’t realise this when we booked and my husband is a TPI so he really struggled. As I say, could not fault hotel. Staff helped take our luggage up to the room which we didn’t really expect but were really grateful for. Meals there were really good also.
- Verified traveler (8/5): CLEAN AND THE EXTRA SIDE ROOM WAS GREAT TO HAVE TO - THE TWO NIGHTS WERE GOOD AND SO WERE THE FACILITIES, THE BED WAS NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room smelt terrible, was dirty and disgusting. Room was right above noisy games room. Also in a dodgy area.
- Verified traveler (6/5): good to stay what check the deal - Its wrongly advertised online-Free continental breakfast,Its actually not continental, its the packets food which you can put in milk or water to make a dish.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room,Toilette,Bathroom to small.Taking a Shower flattens the Toilette.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I was woken at 10.30 pm to the fire alarm going off in all rooms set off by the band downstairs smoke machine, the band was loud which meant our sleep was further disturbed, check-in was done at the pokie money exchange and to top it off our room was stuffy and the bathroom tiny and awkward. Payed $135 👎
- rock (10/5): worth the money - no dranas
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Room was very clean and modern. Steak from the restaurant was one of the best I've ever had and the staff were fantastic. Bed was a little on the hard side and noise from traffic in the morning was noticeable but fixed with a couple of earplugs! Overall a great little place to stay.
