- Smith (3/5): - The old box aircon BARELY cooled the room. I would have gotten cooler air from a fan.
- Lor (9/5): -
- Clinton (7/5): -
- Lyn (3/5): - Close to amenities, supermarket Bed leg broken and beds very uncomfortable, also free wifi as advertised none existent. Got moved to different room but still very poor connection
- Georgina (5/5): The rooms are not worth paying the full price because the air conditioner did not work properly. - The location was central and walking distance to the shops. The air conditioner was not strong enough when it was so damn hot in Innisfail.
- Navjit (6/5): -
- Daniela (2/5): I’ve had better - Not much Ants in the bathroom, uncomfortable mattress
- Jen (8/5): We booked at short notice as we were driving to Innisfail so we were happy being able to get a hotel - Very nice unit situated in the centre of town with plenty of shops within a few minutes walk.
Check in was at the motels other motel- the black Marlin which was easy. The staff was lovely Nothing
- Malcolm (3/5): Will not be staying there again - The location was great Being Far North Queensland the air conditioning was not cooling the room
- Louisa (1/5): - There was norhing to like about accommodation as we had no other option as everywhere else was fully booked. The room aircon didn't work very humid and the aircon was very small for the space. My elderly mother was very uncomfortable and began to have a medical episode. We took a fan from another room to make sure she could sleep and we made sure we were out of there by first light.
- Jaman (6/5): - The air conditioning is not so good but the beds were comfortable Beds
- Vince (8/5): Looking forward to staying there again if necessary. - Close to all places taxi rank out the front very convenient. Nothing everything perfect.
- Kristine (7/5): -
- Russell (2/5): Very stressful few nights. Innisfail was lovely. - Location was very good. Close to the main shops and restaurants. There was a very good hotel attached directly to the motel which was very convenient for high quality pub food. The manager was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. There was probably nothing she could do about the behaviour of her guests. Despite the good things listed I wouldn't stay there again. It was a motel catering to itinerant workers. It was old but servicable and kept very clean. Unfortunately, we had work utes and commercial vehicles starting their engines before dawn and letting them idle while their drivers stood around out side our doors and discussed their plans for the day. They made no attempt to keep their voices down. Very rude and ignorant tradies with no respect for others. One night a woman turned up at the unit next door, at about 3 am, and started screaming and pounding on the door for her young daughter to come out. Obviously, she was on an unapproved sleepover with our neighbour. This went on for about 20 minutes until the offending person finally emerged and was driven off.
- Margaret (5/5): Basic but clean , quiet with good aircon - Was in a very good position to be able to walk to cafes Maybe a power point closer to bed
- Trevors (10/5): -
- Blia (3/5): - Easy check in to pay. Accidentally locked out of room. Slept in the car because there was no one to open the door, called out of hours number, no response, left messages, no respons. Door was opened 9am the next day. Will be thinking twice about this place on next visit.
- Ian (5/5): -
- Steven (4/5): - Nothing Aircon
- MICHIKO (7/5): イニスフェイルのお祭りの日にぶつかってラッキーだった。 - スーパーがすぐ近くで良かった。 ランドリー設備がなかった。ドライヤーも置いてなかった。エアコンの音がうるさかった。
- Santanna (10/5): Awesome Manager. Great location. Comfy beds. - Centre of town. Full size fridge. Microwave (most accommodations lack this). Comfy beds. Aircon & ceiling fan. Loud music late at night from neighbouring premises. To be expected though, being in the town centre
- Minniecon (1/5): - Hello, I liked the location and the price😀😀 The owner treated me and my family like crap don't think they like my family Because we are an indigenous Australian family (Murri)
- Michelle (9/5): This is a good little place. I was what I expected. Little pricey but it’s right in town. I’d stay again. - The location was good and the lady who check me in was lovely. I also watched her have a very respectful conversation with a horrible woman who came in to reception. She handled it beautifully. My aircon wouldn’t work and I couldn’t find anyone to help. I called and left a message but no one contacted me.
- Miriam (1/5): The manager was very rude - Nothing The Manager of the motel
- Apichaya (10/5): - Staff very friendly
- Hussey (8/5): - Location Needs some repairs
- Rick (10/5): Excellent - Incredible service couldn’t help me enough! Roudy indigenous people across the road asking me for money and cigarettes
- Braidy (10/5): -
- Arieta (10/5): -
- Kalsakau (10/5): An amazing and remarkable weekend. - We like the room, the space, the mirror above the bed and most of all the sunrise through the window 🌞😊❤️ Nothing
- Kalsakau (5/5): A must do again!! - The room and the location, close to the pub ☺️ The heat of the sun at the front of the balcony.
- Glenys Norrish (7/5): - The location was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. The building is old and needs some upgrades.
- PatC (8/5): - Good old fashioned value. Everything we needed including a face cloth. Convenient to eateries.
- Stokes (6/5): Not worth staying at, although the town is expensive compared with others in the area. - The motel is in the middle of town. We've stayed here several times over the years and this time we didn't realise which motel it was otherwise we would have gone somewhere else. For several years there has been no staff member on the premises, unlike the first time we stayed there. It was quiet while we were there. Wifi was slow. It is shabby and basic, not worth the money we paid. The following night we stayed in a different town and had a much nicer room at a much better price.
- Narasimha (5/5): -
- TheSimeons (1/5): - We walked out before checking in.
Was very untidy. Had to go to another hotel to check in
.it looked as bad!
- Natasha (8/5): Very good - Great size room had everything we needed Hard to find
- Maria (8/5): Very good -
- Ron (10/5): Exceptional - Good space and parking Leaking shower
- Abge (2/5): Very poor - Hard to check in. Very tired room. Very noisy. Locals over the road drinking all night so very little sleep was had
- Wami (10/5): Exceptional - Everything in the room The bathroom got no door 🚪 but it's ok
- Nayacadraudrau (3/5): Poor - There was no tv and yes I did try numerous times to contact the motel but mobile fones and the reception wasn't getting through and finally I had to email on booking.com
- Maria (6/5): Mixed - good and average - Was good location. Within walking distance to the wharf and the shopping precinct. Was reserved for 2 adults but only had 1 chair in the room and this was broken. The fan didn't work, and the AC struggled. Was no power points within reach of the bed so my partner was not able to use his Cpap machine
- Alberta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glenn (7/5): Good -
- Minniecon (8/5): Very good - Close to CBD
Clean and quiet
- Elaine (8/5): Very good -
- Payne (4/5): For the condition of the unit was too expensive. - Close in town, staff excellent. Shower dripped all night, water dripping inside above the entance door (it was raining all night) there must be a crack above the door, very dangerous, I slipped a couple of times but did not fall. Bed was not to bad, comfortable.
- Katie (10/5): Great Little Hotel - The hotel manager arranged late check in for us. Mary-lee was amazing, friendly and made our stay enjoyable.
We forgot my daughters toy in the room and she keep it for us until I could arrange to collect it.
Our room was clean and a good size.
The hotel was quiet and we felt safe.
- Marinda (10/5): Exceptional - It was comfortable for me
- Bethyl (6/5): - It was comfortable
- Terry (9/5): Friendly, suitable -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Adam (2/5): Never again. - Not much to be honest Curtains don't block much light, I could read my book with lights all off, and Curtains drawn. Bugs of all sorts everywhere, not very clean.
- Layla (3/5): I will never sleep at this hotel again it’s not worth it it’s the worst decision I made but I wish I would have knew bef - It was close to town and lovely staff The aircon in room number 1 is so warm it don’t keep the room cool it’s still hot in there I had are restless night couldn’t sleep cause of the damn hot 🥵!!! needs to be upgraded or new aircon .. and the bed is uncomfortable it needs to be new …
- Andrew (3/5): Not recommended - Not much Cockroaches and ants in room
No soap
- Shaun (6/5): Ok stay did the job - Close to town center Room sizes
- Ronda (8/5): Very good - Central location. Excellent access to The crown Hotel for a meal. Clean There is obviously a maintenance problem. The bed was missing a wheel which made it saggy and slope down on one side. the powerboard also had a power point that didn't work.
- Nikolett (5/5): Passable -
- Madison (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Maria (7/5): Comfortable and Clean Motel - Location was good. Rooms were clean and comfortable Aircon was a little noisy
- Liz (9/5): Comfortable base for 4 night stay. - Easy access to the pub next door for dinner. The room was comfortable but needed another chair. Entry hard to find and very steep driveway. Too steep to walk up.
- Snell (8/5): Art Deco Festival - The location of this property was great, it is in close proximity to everythong we needed in Innisfail. The property was clean and well kept.
The staff that I laised with in relation to my arrival time was super helpful and accommodating, on that alone we'll definately be using these guys again in the future. This is only trivial, but I would have liked to see at least two towel drying rails and two robe hooks in the bathroom
- Hames (6/5): Pleasant -
- Adina (10/5): - Was very well looked after here. Highly recommend
- Rodney (1/5): Bad - This motel was the worst we have encountered in our travels. Down the end of the units the people were outside nearly all night with music blaring, screaming and loud children. There were cars coming and going all night and we're elderly so we were scared! Stay away from this dive for your own safety!!! Everthing about it! Had to go to another motel to get our key!
- Douglas (7/5): Good - The room was clean. Other than the issues noted below, the stay was OK. The were ants around the door, the shower leaked, the towel rail keeps falling off, the washbasin kept filling up.
- Melanie (4/5): Ok - Location People playing music until 2am
- Marie (8/5): Very good - Enjoyed our stay. Didn't like the young boy riding his scooter back and forwards past our room and being very cheaky when I asked him not to do it as my husband was still asleep and he has Cancer.
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katerina (5/5): Passable - The bed was comfortable and the lady at reception was really nice The location, had to go quite far from the place to get the keys
- Ian (9/5): Superb -
- Sally (5/5): Passable - Lovely lady running two buildings and being very accommodating. However, bed was very uncomfortable, air conditioner very noisy.
- Annette (7/5): Good -
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Asako (3/5): Poor - Nice location.
And friendly staff. Someone who were there had a big fight at 2pm.
I was with my daughter and I was so scared.
- Joe (6/5): Pleasant -
- Heusie1989 (9/5): Superb -
- Renee (5/5): Passable - Good central location Having to go to another location to get the key and then go back to the hotel we were staying in. Little inconvenient but not a deal breaker. However the worst part of staying here was the noise! First night was a party where music and laughing went until morning. Second night there was an alarm going off just over the road at 2 am. This was followed by the neighbours having what sounded like an argument at 3am with one knocking on the door/window to be let back inside for about half an hour. Very little sleep over the whole weekend. Wouldn't stay here again due to the amount of noise which is unfortunate as the location was good. Manager was very nice when checking in, and motel although older was clean.
- Honey (7/5): Good - Staff. Location Old carpet, Other guest who made incident
- Ceri (6/5): Comfortable - Closed to all shops Small and dated
- Dawson (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (7/5): Just as expected for budget - Location and Maccona coffee. No Bedside lamp
- Threasa (6/5): The wait to enter the room as was very tired. - Bed to lay down sleep. Uncleanness but happy to change to a clean room.
