Guest Reviews
- Joshua (6/5): -
- Derani (8/5): Good budget chalets - Comfy beds in chalets, chalet had everthing we needed.
- Linda (10/5): -
- Philip (6/5): - Location. Quiet. Air conditioning was noisy. No blankets in room. Light above basin didn’t work. Laundry had a terrible smell. There was a toilet out in the open that looked disgusting. I think the smell was coming from it.
- Kay (7/5): -
- Sasha (8/5): - “The staff were helpful and easy to communicate with over the phone. Because our check-in and check-out were arranged through work and happened very early, most communication was done by phone, and they gave clear instructions. The mattress was too hard for my liking, but everything else was good.”

- Lindy (7/5): Kalgoorlie was awesome, I’ve stayed at better big 4 accommodation sites. - Value for money No one cleans under the beds, some of room lights did not work

- Vicki (8/5): - Efficient friendly staff, good location, to walk to some good restaurants. Great self contained unit.
- Yvonne (3/5): - The Portacabin was very worn and shabby. Net curtains yellow with age or dust and Curtains well worn.
No lampshades in places and bathroom light didn't work.
- Laura_C2023 (9/5): Good value for money for a cabin - Choosing this cabin was a good value for money, facilities were clean, beds were comfortable, air conditioning works well, small but space is used properly. It's all good in general, no complains.
- Bennell (9/5): - It was quite convenient to walk to our friends place . The bed was too hard 😩
And I didnt have time to have a swim .
- Christina (8/5): -

- Danielle (8/5): Very private and relaxing. - Had everything you needed and very clean and well presented and secure. A little noisy at times.
- Jen (10/5): a little house for a great stay - N/A Beds could be more comfortable.
Change of towels would be good.
- James (7/5): -
- Andrea (10/5): We stayed for two nights and it suited us perfectly. Lovely hot shower, comfy beds and all comforts - No breakfast - did our own, easy access, no interaction with others, own car bay next door N/A
- Tom (9/5): Quiet , clean and relaxing ! - Clean , quiet and close to everything . Only issue was plugging g in toaster kept shorting out unit .
- Kerry (7/5): Ok stay - Location and the pool The air con struggled so was very hot. Also sheets and blankets had some horrible stains on them. Room wasn't overly clean and couldn't have the bin inside due to ants
- Kelly (3/5): I dont expect spotless accommodation due to it being a mining town. A clean floor in bathroom is a m - Nothing Small air-conditioning insufficient to cool room down during the heat of the day.
Floor throughout cottage filthy, bathroom toothpaste on floor.
Shower/bath needed a good crub, hair in sink & bath.
Kitchen cupboards, some sort of dirty dribbled down one side where fridge was.
No air conditioning in kids bedroom so child slept on floor in my room.
When mattress moved off bunks there was alot of dirt in slats under mattress.
Room like a heat box when got to accommodation, a air con could have been turned on or blinds pulled on some windows.
Accommodation door to our cottage ( number 101)was not locked when we arrived.
Some blinds had holes or wear & tear.
Could have the flyscreen door open on 1 of the cool nights due to flyscreen having large holes. Mosquitos & bugs came in & we were bitten.
I dont expect the accommodation to be spotless due to location & a mining town. I have worked fifo many years in my life & stayed in many accommodation places. A floor not to be mopped in a bathroom (white toothpaste drops on floor around end of bath/bathroom sink & toilet) that was disappointing & I had to use the floor towel to clean off due to no mop supplied in accommodation.
A little TLC needs to be spent in each place & its not hard to do as I said I am ex fifo.
The staff friendly, place easy to find, the surrounding are ok taking into consideration the town & location.
Would I recommend this to family & friends, no not for the price I paid & what I got in return.

- Jane (6/5): - The place was away from the road and so it was quiet. It was clean, a reasonable price, it felt secure. The WiFi didn't work well and kept going off, especially when both of us were on it. We had to buy bottled water to drink, and to make tea or coffee.
- Kim (8/5): Very pleasant. - Accessible to everything. Cabin was comfortable and had . all your needs Bed was very comfortable. we are easily pleased. so as long as it is clean and it was we are happy.
- Margaret (8/5): - Clean and close to everything
- Rabin (8/5): Comfortable nice and clean - The location was great and easy to find. Gas stations were nearby and in between airport and city makes it great. Not enough playing facilities for the kids but as most of the guests were the mining workers and some of them were night as shift workers so maybe they haven’t invested much in the playground. Wifi didn’t work inside the unit which was trouble for the kids

- Jacqui (8/5): Adequate for overnight stay. Value for money. - Convenient. Private. Quiet. Felt safe. No complaints
- Kylie (7/5): Central location, comfortable beds - Comfortable bed and staff actioned the fridge not working before we returned for the day. Cabin needs maintenance, floor sinking, dusty with cobwebs and water damaged in areas
- Kathy (7/5): Good - Basic facilities - had everything we needed. Two comfortable double beds - one in the main room. Bathroom due for an update but still adequate for our needs. Quiet location, but close enough to all attractions and supermarkets Inadequate heating and blankets. Very cold at night. A bit tight on space for adult family.
- Robyn (5/5): Wont come back - Not much AC didnt work properly lucky we had our own heater, floors were broken, no sheer curtain on bedroom, door lock didnt work, freezing at night, very small.
- Pastor (8/5): Good comfortable and affordable stay - We were very happy with the chalet, and it was quite a reasonable price for Kalgoorlie. Surprisingly quite where we were, which was appreciated. Easy to book, check-in and to check out. Will stay there again :)
- Carly (4/5): Probably good for deaf seasoned campers, who don’t feel the cold. - Was close to the go-kart race track. Heater was so loud we couldn’t have it on over night. It was freezing over night. I had to go to bed dressed like I was going to the snow with my beanie on, and still kept waking up cold.
Near the Main Street and a petrol station - Like being near a drag strip.
Wifi was really poor.
- Keith (7/5): Stay was fine. Lack of laundromat in town meant the park laundry was hard to get a machine - N/A Check in, Bathroom Smelt similar to cigarettes
- Tina (8/5): Very good -
- Spraggs (4/5): Disappointing - Laundry area very dirty. Washing machines dirty. Had to wash my clothes twice.
1 dryer out of order 1 washing machine out of order.
I had 1 day to do washing for work. It took all day.
Old dump point still in the laundry and looks disgusting....
- Stubbs (8/5): Staff was a bit of worry they seemed not happy and bitter - It was great All ok
- Megan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Baker (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (10/5): - Didn’t like the fact there was a vehicle getting repaired
Bought the place down
- Noeline (7/5): Good - It was a comfortable place to stay. The main concerns were the fan in the main bedroom broke down. We had very hat days, so it was missed. The shower fluctuated badly and it was hard to get a consistent shower. It would run cold very quickly.
But the place was well maintained and cost was reasonable.
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Russell (8/5): Very good -
- Rosmarie (4/5): - The noise from the mine at nights was very uncomfortable, i didn't sleep all nights!!!
- Brittany (7/5): Good -
- Owen (6/5): - The facilities were small and dated. One end of the towel rack fell off its support when we tried to use it. The TV was good.

- Jill (9/5): Superb -
- Jason (7/5): Good -
- Shane (7/5): Was a good stay - Good facilities, was comfortable The shower too small no hot water
- Francesco (6/5): Pleasant - No breakfast, location was okay except for the noise from the petrol station next door. Cabin had seen better days, lots of previous damage inside.
- Denise (4/5): Disappointing -
- Ross (4/5): Aufull - There was no breakfast Nothing
- Julia (8/5): Very good - The units were very good and well appointed. I found it hard to connect to the wifi and when I finally did it was very slow. We had to use mobile hotspots.
- Amanda (10/5): - The accommodation was clean and simple. It was just the thing we needed for a weekend away. The staff were fantastic and very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Hospitality was brilliant. The only downside was internet wouldn’t connect which wasn’t a problem for us as we were out most of the time. I would definitely recommend a stay here
