- Tony (10/5): Spotlessly clean motel with warm welcoming owners. - Our second stay this week and out room was spotlessly clean. The room was comfortable and the owners are very warm and welcoming. Breakfast is self serve which suited us well as we had to leave very early. Cottonwood Motel is in Berridale, about a 50 minute drive from Perisher Ski Resort.

Plenty of food options for dinner as well. And the complimentary breakfast was great. Have no hesitation to recommend.

The dining area is huge with very good continental breakfast , coffee & tea . They had enough plates bowls, cups plus microwave. Good size room and shower/toilet. Lounge area, pool table, fireplace, kids games, TV in common area. Everything Excellent. The accommodation itself was clean and tidy.

- Irene (4/5): It was OK for a one night stopover . - Adequate parking close to our room. It was clean ,comfortable and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was very small, just enough room for one person to walk around the bed. The ensuite was large but nowhere to put our toiletries. One chair provided.Small wall mounted heater that was inadequate as it seemed programmed to switch off automatically.

The microwave is dirty. the light milk is expired. Squeeze vegemite is empty. The cooler where the milk is stored needs to be cleaned. I can see an insect crawling in the dining room - the carpet has to be cleaned. The back door in the hallway is not locked - can't be locked - this is an issue of safety.

The bathroom was perfectly adequate for a on-nioght stay. As there was nothing to do in the evening, having more tv options would have been helpful.

A piece of fruit would have been a good addition. Very clear check in instructions from owners. This is so minor but lighting in the dining room is so dim to be dreary.
