- Claire (9/5): Would highly recommend. - As someone who has stayed at a lot of pubs with accommodation attached, this venue was spectacular. Very well located on the waterfront, with clean upstairs rooms. We had an ensuite attached (quite rare in pub accommodations) and the room, while basic, was perfect for the price. Having access to a guest kitchen/dining area upstairs with some basic breakfast items included in the price definitely exceeded our expectations. The pub itself was excellent, with a wonderful meals available at reasonable prices. The staff were all excellent to deal with and made ours stay very pleasant. Offstreet and reasonably secure parking was very much appreciated as we were on motorbikes and always worry about their safety. Nothing - it was all excellent. Would definitely stay again if every in Port Lincoln.

- ERIK ALBERTO (7/5): Good location. - It was alright… Not much for the value, good location but there is not much to do at Port Lincon. A bit dissapointing when I did the check in cause they didn’t give me any information about the place. It’s very noisy during all day, especially at night. The bed and sheets are not comfortable.

- Thorsten (1/5): Nightmare on Tasman Terrace - Nothing! This hotel was an absolute nightmare! The room was dirty, dusty, incredibly noisy, and completely outdated. There was also a very strange smell in the air—a mixture of cinnamon, peppermint, and cloves. The door didn't even seal the floor, so you could hear everything that was happening in the hallway. To make matters worse, the DJ started playing extremely loud music (Techno with extreme basses) around 10 p.m. It felt and sounded like you were sleeping right on the dance floor. Falling asleep before 2 or 3 a.m. was impossible. There were also many drunk (party)guests who screamed on the hallway. This hotel was a complete nightmare, and I would never stay there again for all the money in the world.

- Kathryn (7/5): Reasonable price for stay of one night. - Price, location and breakfast Furnishings were on the old size and hotel is old.
- Kelly (10/5): -
- Ella (7/5): -
- kate (7/5): the room was so small although for the price we payed it’s good - the bar basin next to bed
- Deb (7/5): Good for the money. - The breakfast was good for the price that was paid. It was a good standard for a low budget option. Saturday night music was very loud.
- matthew (10/5): - Free coffee 😁 Noise with disco Friday
- Roksana (1/5): Below -standard hotel with shabby, unstable beds and linens, and very poor customer service. - Only the location I liked. No drinking water or tissue in the room. Corn flakes with milk is the only breakfast they offer. Neither the receiption desk staff was positive nor the facilities were up to the mark. The staff Ms.Lee wasted our 40 minutes claiming that there was no booking on my name, said they had been fully booked for two weeks and mentioned that booking.com might have made a mistake. However, she did not even ask my mobile number to confirm the booking details. It was our complete disappointment after seven hours drive to the place and despite showing the confirmation email from hotel and everything about my booking. Finally after 40 mins, she printed one booking details which was mine (!) with my mobile number undreneath my name. She claimed that the surname was 'null', so she thought it was not mine; however she even didn't know null stands for no/not Applicable. She did not bother checking my mobile number or email address. I showed her the reservation confirmation number and the email but these appeared not to matter to her! So very frustrating! It ruined our total travel plan in the afternoon.
- Can (4/5): It was certainly a rememberable night - The location is very good The noise caused by downstair DJ. Didn't sleep much during the night.

- Mehrli (10/5): - Abends die Disco mit den Einheimischen. Tolle Gespräche gehabt. Das es umkonfortabel ist die Treppen hoch.
- Puckeridge (1/5): - The beach front.. The whole facility.. dirty bathroom, dirty sheets. Dirty touch points!
- Martyn (7/5): Good - Breakfast was self help.
- Howing (7/5): -
- Stuart (5/5): Port Lincoln rooms above a pub. - Car park and overlooking the sea. I stayed two separate nights before and after a shark diving trip. It’s a pub, so I expected a bit of noise at night, but on my first stay on a Saturday night was unbelievable, loud banging music until 3am and drunken women/girls swearing and shouting outside. My second stay on a Wednesday night was fine. I wouldn’t stay there again.
- Susan (8/5): - I used the small bed it was more comfortable than the big bed. A chair in the room would be nice.
- Rachel (5/5): -
- Caroline stafford (10/5): - The whole location and the rooms and the breakfast rooms with food. It's all you can eat and make. I didn't like the noises in the ceilings it must be the pigeons they kept me awake. But everything was very comfortable.
- kerryanne (1/5): Terrible - The location Not clean, floors were sticky and dirty, I had to clean the floors. No air conditioning. Very noisy not able to sleep.
- Christian (7/5): - Good location.
- Russell (9/5): -
- bart (8/5): -
- Mark (5/5): It was ok and could not expect too much for the money paid. It do what I needed it to do. - Convenient for port Lincoln and the shark dive trip Noisy when entertainment on in the bar below and also some rowdy patrons on Saturday night. Facilities were very basic but you get what you pay for.
- Brown (3/5): -
- Hardikkumar (1/5): Not to Prefer and Not to Recommend to stay Pier Hotel. - I did not get the room facilities as mentioned in Booking.com by online which saw during booking. The Aircon was not sufficient working, Bed quality was also poor. Shower is very poor and not getting spraying water, Freeze cooling is low even its was on high cooling mode. Bed and blankets quality was so poor. Overall I don’t like the Pier Hotel for stay in Port Lincoln. I m not recommended to stay Pier Hotel in Port Lincoln. I didn’t like anything
- Locksi (7/5): -
- Walden (7/5): - The location to the foreshore
- Borg (4/5): Disappointing - How about the staff let the customers know about the salad bar!!?
Very noisy rooms upstairs
$132 for a room of that quailty is poor
The "table service" provided for dinner was laughable
- Rex Alexander Woo Aquino (1/5): - Location Room was filty. When we check in the bedroom floor has food crumbs. The windows has cobwebs with live spiders. Worst part is was the loud music during Saturday night and the mongrels patrons that kept on shouting and fighting w/ other lowlifes.
- Shane (5/5): -
- Joanne (5/5): -
- Jayesh (8/5): -
- Florent (5/5): - Emplacement
- Smart (6/5): - The breakfast Room was not what I expected. Think the bed was older than me...
- Effie (6/5): - Location Too old
- Michael (7/5): A Good Result - The location was good. The service was good. We asked for a room change because the room we were given was not properly serviced after the previous occupant. The shower would not turn off. The Onsuite door named shut. The room was in bad need of an update. There were no chairs or a table to sit at. The staff were very good and understanding. The food and service were excellent. The location was excellent, in the town centre.
- Dianne (6/5): - Location Old fashion
Needs an update
- Te Hira (9/5): -
- Brody (3/5): Disappointed - Location and availability Wasn’t even cleaned before I got there!!
- Stevens (9/5): - Perfect location to travel to with your grandparent
- Watson B (6/5): - Bed was good The bathroom was dated, difficult to use( having steps going up was dangerous. Postion of paper despenser was difficult.
No facial tissues.
Needing to go to a kitchen to make a coffee was a bit odd
- Eiko (6/5): It's was ok - Good location No clean enough
- Corinne (4/5): Enttäuschend. - Lage und Restaurant gut. Sauberkeit im Zimmer. Bettbezug hatte Haare. Auch unter Leinentuch.
Morgenessen selber machen ok. Geschirr musste zuerst gewaschen werden. Toaster und Mikrowelle waren verdreckt.
- Josie (3/5): Replace with new bedding update generally needed - Location The room was old with old bedding😬
- Lesley (8/5): -
- liz (5/5): - Convenient to our needs Room just a little bit too tight
- Inge (8/5): -
- Suzanne (9/5): -
- Yves (8/5): -
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and lovely staff The rooms were nice but not clean
- Margaret (7/5): comfortable - Great that a light breakfast with tea and coffee was included. Location fantastic
- Gregory (7/5): Good -
- Steven (1/5): Bad - Meals Staff rude and slow
- Lynn (2/5): Disappointing - Nothing No kettle, drinking water, coffee or tea in room but only communal kitchen where tap water is unsuitable for drinking. No housekeeping done despite a 2N stay
- Li (2/5): Very bad. - The only satisfying thing is the location, If you want to see the seashore. Lots of unsatisfactory things, I will never choose the hotel anymore. Dirty sheets, dirty pillows with other customer’s hair, creaking wooden floor, bad attitude reception lady, I suspect that she discriminates against Asians .The upper and lower bunk beds that swayed and made me afraid of collapse as soon as they moved.such the hotel will not have any customers if it is in Asian territory as the price. Never recommend it to anyone.
- Hitendra (8/5): Very good - closeto all amenities shared batchroom
room very small
- Lisannellery (10/5): Exceptional - Great Location. Clean room, lovely staff.
- Mel (10/5): Lovely location - Clean and location and lovely staff.
- Kevin (5/5): All good except the beds - All good 👍 The beds where a little uncomfortable 👎😞
- Charitha (6/5): Pleasant - Good for budget overnight stay Small rooms with no view
- Keith (7/5): Good - Location and the service/ food was very good Rooms not serviced daily!
Bed was like sleeping on concrete
- Bruce (4/5): Probably an awesome hotel if you are a back packer, or uni-student on a tight budget. (Or late trip organizers when ever - Great location, within walking distance of some good restaurants.
The provided self-cook kitchen was stocked with the basics for a nice little breakfast, or the hotel is close enough to an awesome little cafe called Rascals (or something similar)
The rooms were quiet, and it’s certainly an old hotel with a lot of history. Where to start? If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to sleep in a forensic exhibit, this hotel delivers. The bedhead featured a curious collection of hairs, fluff, and other mysterious human leftovers — most of which had migrated to the so-called clean sheets. The toilet was freestanding in the literal sense, wobbling heroically while leaking “water” across the floor. As for the air conditioner, it sounded like a disgruntled steam train giving up on life mid-hill.
Memorable, but for all the wrong reasons.
