Staff were very friendly and accommodating: I had to leave my suitcase at reception before check-in and after check-out, and the staff were more than happy to get it sorted. Wifi speeds are worse than using data; Heated blankets did not work even after switching on; I did not bring a car during my stay, but I wish parking spaces were allocated to each motel room (instead of being first come first serve).

- Carolyn (8/5): Good for overnight stays - Convenient for our overnight stay after a long day on the Spirit of Tasmania. Old motel style rooms, clean and tidy. Behind a pub so you have room to park your car right near your room. Not that close to the township, wouldn't stay there for more than one night really.

- Kali (8/5): Convenient and comfortable - A short drive from the Ferry terminal for our first night in Tassie. Comfy bed and good bathroom. The room would be awesome if it had some more bench space options. Either another table or a bigger side table in the bathroom etc. or even a couch in the room. The room was spacious but not a lot of places to put luggage or toiletries or anything. Arriving in the evening was a little hard to find where to grab the key.

Hotel location is a real bonus as it’s right next to the river, with short walks out to the lighthouse and town centre. Really interesting maritime museum just around the corner too. Food was good and staff work really hard in busy times so no wait issues. All staff were friendly and helpful.

- Michele (5/5): Clean room, comfortable bed but noisy location - The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Because the accommodation was attached to a hotel it was extremely noisy. Staff assured us the noise would cease at 10pm when the hotel closed but it didn't. Noisy and drunk patrons then came back to the accommodation and it remained noisy until after midnight.

- Florence (9/5): - When we arrived, I was told we had a room in the new section upstairs. I told the young lady that my husband was not able to climb stairs. She said that was the only room left and that she would help with carrying our luggage. However, after a couple of minutes, another staff told us to wait while she checked if one of the rooms on ground floor is ready. She returned to say yes it was and we were accommodated in a very lovely ground floor room. We were most thankful. Everything about the room was wonderful, clean, spacious, comfy bed. My only comment is, there are no hanging rails for the various towels.

- Leticia Correa (8/5): Great option for a short stay in the city. - This is a great option for a short stay in the city, with a great location! The room is very comfortable and good size. It was very well-cleaned. It was noisy when people arrived in their rooms and talked loudly, but they quieted quickly and were respectful. Maybe depends on who the other guests are when you stay there.
