- Boonjirathon (10/5): Beautiful stay! - I just visited Ruby Star Hotel for the first time. The staff at this hotel ( Mr. Duoc ) were excellent, incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable, quiet. I loved the convenient location close to the city also you can sightseeing walk around. I would love to visit again. Would very highly recommend. Thanks a lot :-)

- CHUNLIANG (8/5): - 簡單的越式早餐(湯粉)或者越南麵包加煎蛋,性價比高. 入住要求高樓層安靜的房間，所以給了702房,但打開門,床鋪一片凌亂還未整理，和櫃檯反映後，改成了103房. 但隔天一大早都聽到樓下員工聊天工作的聲音,相當吵雜令人無法繼續入眠,建議應該要降低音量,或者怕吵的客人要給更高樓層的房間才好

- Andrea (1/5): Can't comment, didn't stay. - Recieved a message from them on the morning I was due to arrive stating that my room wasnt available. Appears to be on ongoing occurrence between vietnamese hotels. Other travellers are also complaing of the same experience. Its disguisting and bookings.com need to address it, issue a fine if you need to. Extremely unfair to travellers who have just stepped of a plane. Being told you need to find somewhere else to stay after a long plane flight is unacceptable They need to commit to there booking requirements

Parken som ligger precis utanför boendet gjorde det bekvämt att promenera på morgonen Att man säljer mat precis utanför entren ibland fick man säga till folk att flytta sig för att man skulle kunna ta sig ut ifrån hotellet. Senare på dagen dukade man upp ett stort bod i receptionen där personalen satt och åt.
- james (1/5): this hotel is a disgrace and should not be listed - poor you had to eat breakfast in the kitchen you had to ask them to clean the tables they could not fry an egg coffee was like dirty dish water they would not accept Vietnam cash for payment and insisted i pay with credit card which was charged twice .It was a scam when i challenged the double payment they said they could not credit the double payment back to my credit card, they are running a scam, booking .com needs to distance themself from this this fraud

- Hilary (8/5): Friendly, clean, Good value - Really friendly staff and helpful. Everything clean and working. Breakfast was lovely high quality beef noodle soup or eggs. Close to park / independence palace and easy walk to several tourist destinations. Kettle and drinking water in room when you arrive was a nice touch. Considering it's a super deluxe room, a window would be nice. However, maybe I should have selected a different room.

Gave us a spare room that that night no charge either. Superb staff service. Locations in the centre of everything. 15 minute walk to popular foods / markets in either direction Using a key to the door. Broke the key.

Overall, I liked the breakfast, a large and filling portion, but the coffee was very sweet. The location is great, only 6 minutes from the Russian Embassy.

Breakfast service was only a bowl of soup or fried eggs with bread. Nothing else to offer, and needed to ask for a cup of coffee.

Room was too small for a family of 4. One of the beds was uncomfortable, lumpy. TV and fridge didn't work. They also required me to pay on arrival which was the first time in Vietnam I had to do so. It was the most expensive of about 6 hotels that we stayed in in Vietnam and it was the worse. Very disappointing.

- Scotsman61 (8/5): Good cheap little hotel, pretty close to everything, - Good cheap little hotel, pretty close to everything, but not that close to Bin Thang Markets to be truthful. Nice relaxing park 80m away, highland coffee across road and some pretty good eateries around. The double bed is just 2 vey big beds pushed together (lol), but asked for and got a window (Room 403 at front) No tea bags / coffee in room. The shower over the bath so no good for elderly and infirm. The bath itself was missing the grill over the drain and obviously a plumbing problem as the water leaked out from under the bath shroud.

- David (6/5): great location noisey but so is the rest of ho chi minh - Wifi was strong and clear the whole week I was there Sounded like someone was running a laundry service sometimes well into the night virtually every night I wouldn't have expected to be woken up regularly in the night morning by someone doing industrial levels of laundry.

- Roberta (1/5): Disappointing and uncomfortable - Nothing The room had no windows and bad ventilation, it was very noisy during the night. The bedsheets were stained, the bed was uncomfortable and there were only two pillows. Ventilation depended on the AC only, which wasn’t ideal. It didn’t seem very clean overall either.
