The heating didn’t work, the place was very dirty, there was next to nothing in the way of kitchen/cooking equipment, this was made exceptionally frustrating by the fact that the vineyard restaurant isn’t open during check in ours (or even past 3) which was extremely miss leading advertising. Considering the price ($450) we payed to stay here for one night, this place honestly had nothing to offer that could justify the cost.

Especially on check in as we had to quickly get the key before driving off to a wedding ceremony. The only negative was that the heating remote was missing from our room. Given it was a cool night that was disappointing, thankfully given the supply of blankets available we had a comfortable nights sleep. Other than this it was a great stay.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Beautiful location,great rooms,terrible accoustics - Easy to find, beautiful location, super clean rooms and very accommodating staff (we needed an earlier check in and they were happy to oblige). Main downer for us is that we got no sleep! We came home from a wedding at 12am and the people in the room above us were screaming at each other and then pacing the length of the house. You can hear everything! Singing in the shower at 5am, any footsteps. Worst night's sleep ever.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Spacious apartment in a beautiful setting - We were attending a function at Boneo Park so the location was great, the apartment was huge with big beds rooms and a well stocked kitchen. Staff were happy to arrange an earlier check in and were friendly and help full. There was under cover parking right at the door. Bathrooms were large and stocked with quality products. the views are stunning and setting is really beautiful. A number of other reviews complained that the blinds did not work but we found them fine so maybe they have been replaced. Beds were super comfortable and had quality linen. Only two minor negatives 1. the toilet had no extra toilet rolls 2. there is a water pump that runs on and off during the night while it is fairly quiet you can hear it during the night from the front bedrooms. Over all a great place to stay and would absolutely stay again and recommend to others.

- Suzi (8/5): Spring at the Morning Sun - Enjoyed a relaxing night away at the Morning Sun. Great value for money accommodation, spacious, comfortable, great location. Morning views across the vineyard was such a lovely way to start the day.
- Jane (8/5): Great views of the vineyard - We were given early check-in because we were attending a wedding nearby that afternoon. Thereare no staff on site only the manager of the restaurant who unlocked the key safe for us. The suite has three bedrooms, one with ensuite, main bathroom with separate toilet, a fully equipped laundry and a huge kitchen, dining and lounge area with great views over the vineyard. We were given teabags and fresh milk on request but it was puzzling that there was no kettle or electric jug given that it was an otherwise fully equipped kitchen. We heated water using one of the saucepans on the hob. The beds were comfortable with nice linen and the toiletries were high quality but the bodywash which was in a larger pump bottle had run out. The venetian blinds throughout the property are in a very dilapidated state and do not work properly, compromising the light block particularly in the main bedroom. This is very pleasant accommodation but could use some attention to maintenance, particularly if you are contemplating a longer stay.

- TJ (10/5): Relaxation - To say the morning sun vineyard was relaxing is an understatement. With easy going staff the peaceful atmosphere and yummy food made our visit and stay perfect. We loved every minute of it and the quiet and calm was just what we needed. Thank you all involved.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Very spacious. - The apartment comes with free wifi which is one of the reasons we stayed. We were able to get wifi on day 1 after contacting the owner but it didn't work for the next 2 days. Tried contacting the owner and she never replied back. Apartment is huge, the size of some 3 bedroom houses. Could do with a good clean - a little dusty in some places. Beds were comfortable, sheets were so soft and the organic toiletries were lovely. Apartment 1 also has a laundry with washing machine that came in handy.

- Marie (4/5): Extremely disappointing - Wonderful location with great views over the vineyard however unfortunately the service is unbelievably awful. The management obviously have no idea how to run a business and cater for their customers. There was no-one there for our arrival - we had no idea how to enter. I called the number of the premises and it went to voicemail. We walked around and found the entrance to the apartments and found a note under the mat with instructions. At this point we received a call back, just as well as we had difficulty accessing the apartment. On entry we were very pleased, however this soon changed as we tried to raise the blinds –many of which were broken, in particular the one over the door to the balcony making access difficult. On raising the blinds that worked found the window sills were very dusty and windows were rather dirty. In the bathrooms there was no soap for the hand basin or shower, no face washer, no bath mat in the ensuite and toilet rolls with only a quarter left and no extra rolls. Luckily we were there early enough to venture to the Red Hill store for supplies. The lights in the bathroom didn’t work so had to rely on the light from the heattastic – not ideal on a warm day! Couldn’t get the TV to work – we tried everything to get it going – and there was no manual to consult. We did look in every draw and cupboard to no avail. If I’m paying $250 a night on a Sunday I expect at the very least the essentials – which I consider soap and toilet paper are.
