It kept falling down and if you weren’t careful that water burnt when you turned it off.

• Sally Sutherland-Fraser (7/5): Comfortable budget motel with friendly staff, ideally located within reach of Melbourne / Geelong. - Very responsive staff to our online requests, who were able to adjust their check-in processes due to our very late arrival. The room was quiet, spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was enormous with plenty of hot water. The room and its facilities were exactly what we needed for a short, overnight stay. The sink did not provide enough space to fill the electric kettle, but that's a pretty minor gripe!
• Phil (5/5): I was travelling alone for work so this Motel was good for an overnight stay. - Easy to find, prompt and friendly check in, clean and quiet. I was directed to the local hotel for an evening meal and that didn't miss. A continental breakfast was mentioned, I've no idea what that was - nothing in the room - and I was told I could do better at the service station across the road from 7:30am. 🤷‍♂️

On 3 seperate occasions the door opened itself but remained locked!

The owner was very attentive and took good care of our needs. We really enjoyed our stay and overall it was a great experience. The main issue for me was the bed. The mattress was very soft and sank in, and there seemed to be a plastic/rubber mattress under the sheet, which felt uncomfortable and caused pressure points. A padded mattress topper or new mattress would greatly improve comfort. Another small inconvenience was the lack of a kitchen sink, as dishes had to be washed in the bathroom sink. Other than these points, everything else was perfect. Thank you
