• James T (5/5): Ok, but I have stayed at $90 motels that had better facilities. - The room was ok, normal motel standard. Minimal cutlery and crockery (two of each). Good location, walking distance to Middleton beach. The bed was hard and it made my hips ache a lot. Outside could use a good prune! A table and two chairs provided, but the bushes were so overgrown no one could sit on them without having branches in your face! Non-smoking, not even outside. So had to stand at the side of the road out front to have a smoke. The hot water was poor. I had enough time to get soaped up, then ran out of HW! Had to rinse off using cold water. And in Albany, the cold water is really cold!

• René (7/5): Old fashioned but clean and nicely situated accommodation. - The accommodation is just a couple of minutes away from the beach and also restaurants are in close proximity. The beach is beautiful and long stretched which invites for long beach walks. There are only bright LED lighting installed in the ceiling and no ambient light for cosy evenings. The layout of the unit was a bit unpractical as there is a old washroom located in front of the toilet and bathroom which can't be used for anything other than walking through. Overall the apartment could use a makeover and renewal of the appliances.

It’s a way into Albany, but I enjoyed the walk, both direct and around the headland. The staff were friendly and helpful - I was even given a dollar pocket money so I could finish drying my washed clothes 🙂 Only thing was the brightness of the main lights. But there were two bedside lights that together created a relaxing feel.
