Guest Reviews
- Jackie (8/5): -
- Marysteph (8/5): -
- Mavis (8/5): - Location. Easy access and parking.
- Liza (6/5): Quiet, comfortable but fairly basic - Quieter than expected being on the highway.
Room was large and beds were very comfortable.
Heater kept us toasty.
Basic but very serviceable. Room was a homage to the 1980’s.
No hairdryer and shampoo but no conditioner.
- Barbara (5/5): it was cheap - it was cheap and the bed was comfortable the taps didnt work properly the pillow had a funny smell and traffic was noisy
- Carol (5/5): Not up to scratch, even for the low nightly rate - Excellent wifi connection. Covered parking at door but some higher vehicles will have trouble with height. Not very clean. Floors haven't been vacuumed for a while. Bathroom wasn't bad. The pillows absolutely stank (BYO). Only one cheap blanket along with standard quilt. Not enough in cold weather. They have electric blankets (however one side didn't reach the power point). You have to ask for cutlery, plates etc at reception.
- Malcolm (6/5): Short, functional, unimpressive. - Undercover parking Totally disinterested in any information about getting food. The hand written scrap of paper saying No Breakfast, No meals - was unhelpful and unwelcoming.
- Michael (8/5): -
- George (4/5): A Basic Motel - Don't Expect Much - The room was big and had all the that you would expect - TV; Fridge; Microwave - but this was useless as there was NO cutlery or crockery provided - you had to bring all your own No Cutlery or crockery was provided except for having a cup of tea/coffee
The room was run down - needed a coat of paint
The carpet was dirty
The blankets provided were stained and dirty
You could hear the truck noise in the room - the room was not soundproof
- Bryan (6/5): -
- Jade (10/5): Wonderful location, clean, friendly and value for money - Cleanliness and friendly Needs a new bathroom door handle
- Ray (8/5): Nice clean and comfortable motel at a fair price - Nice. Clean comfortable at a reasonable price
- Leslie (7/5): -
- Kobie (7/5): -
- Jacqueline (9/5): -
- Gregory (5/5): - Beds comfortable The bathroom is not totally clean.
No culterary. Just a teaspoon.
No glasses. Only a corkscrew.
No bowls, couldn't make cereal in the morning.
No plates.
Never again.
- Phill (8/5): The shower frame lip didn't stop the water leaking out to the bathroom floor - Tidy and clean and easy access No plates or cutlery to eat with, only 2 teaspoons
- Smith (7/5): Comfortable bed and great shower. - Staff were friendly, the Bed was really comfortable and the shower had great pressure, both of these are really important. The room was big and the fridge was larger than most hotels. The room was generally clean but felt a bit run down as the carpet had stains, bits of paint missing here and there. However,it was comfortable and it doesn't change the positive things I mentioned. I would stay here again if I was just passing through on my way to somewhere.
- Gregory (8/5): -
- Todd (7/5): Will stay here again. - Clean, tidy, good central secure site.
- Keith (8/5): -
- Amy (3/5): - Bread crumbs all over counter, beds hard, hair all over beds and sheets, water smelly, only part toilet paper on roll and none under cupboard
- Sautualualelauosafua (10/5): Outstanding hotel excellent all round - I have been staying here every times I’m in Glen Inns.
Excellent place and the best I have found in town.
Meets all my needs and much more. Nothing
- Deborah (7/5): -
- Jan (10/5): - The bed was very comfortable, the carpet was soft, the view of the open bush with kangaroos and birds was very restful. No noise during the night, car space was large. The shower taps and soap tray were too close.
- Ciufici (9/5): -
- Michelle (4/5): -
- Jason (8/5): Very good value - Pleasant big room with large viewing room to outside and kangaroos in field. More plates cutlery glasses.
- Peter (6/5): -
- Nathan (7/5): -
- Kai (10/5): -
- neal (5/5): Alright - Na Na
- David (8/5): - My husband was ill on the morning of departure(ongoing illness) and the owner kindly allowed us to stay on some extra time at no cost. Very rare service. Will definitely return. Rose
- Townsend (6/5): An option for an overnight stay where function and price rate higher than creature comforts. - The room was what we needed for the night. It was clean. No extra toilet paper was available!! We ran out and had to use tissues - not good enough.
The decor is quite dated but functional.
- Kath (9/5): - Comfortable stay
- Kennedy (6/5): - Bed was not made and carpet old and stained
- Timothy (7/5): Overnight reststop on long road trip. - Easy to book online a few hours earlier.
Clean and tidy room.
Parking at the door. No staff. But the key was provided for late arrivals and a phone number to contact staff.
- RoadTrip101 (7/5): Good facility for overnight stay travelling through New England Tableland area. - Easy to find as on main highway just out of town to the south. Bed was comfortable. Basic amenities provided like tea making and toaster, Air conditioner was adequate. There was under cover car-parking but my vehicle at 1.9M high could not fit under the awning. This was not uniform for all rooms as the awning clearances vary along the face of the building due to sloping allotment. Was advised to park on small lawn section but still on actual property. Being a little out of town it would be necessary to drive to CBD to buy food etc.
- Jenni (6/5): Good view, lacking everything else. - We have previously stated there and the beds are comfortable and the rooms are a great size for a family. Easy to find and seeing the animals in the field out the back is a nice treat. It’s on the outskirts of town but relatively quiet considering it’s on the highway. The toilet was leaking and so were our families as we had 3 rooms. The bathroom wasn’t very clean and there was no real soap just a round hand soap that was clearly cheap and barely did anything. It is very run down compared to last time and doesn’t get maintained very well. It is in desperate need of updated utilities, floors, walls etc. all 3 rooms were the same, not the very well cleaned, looking run down and wouldn’t stay there longer than a night or really we wouldn’t stay there again for a third time.
- Jeremy (10/5): -
- Derren (6/5): Convenient facility for one night's accommodation - Facility was adequate for what we needed The attitude of the lady when I called to enquire about a booking-rude
- Tony (8/5): -
- steffi (7/5): -
- ross (7/5): -
- Mhlengi (10/5): Excellent - Room is clean and beds are so comfortable
- Glen (8/5): -
- Kees (3/5): -
- Matt B (7/5): - Very easy to get to. Very simple check-in and checkout process. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
- Linda (10/5): - Comfortable and cosy.
- Reuben (8/5): - Close to town
- Jacqueline (9/5): -
- Bruce (7/5): -
- Kevin (8/5): Short holiday - Clean Staff was not really friendly
- Chaminda (8/5): It was a comfortable stay in general. - Everything was good except couple of very minor things. Nothing major, only couple of very minor things; the toilet door lock didn't lock the door (but closed). The pillows weren't very comfortable. It would be nice to have a plate or two in case.
- ANDREW (6/5): Nice enough for a pit stop - Convenient location, and friendly owner. Cleanliness unfortunately wasn’t up to scratch, linen smelt like urine and there was an odour of a decaying animal (mouse? Rat?). Carpets very old and stained.
- Kylee (7/5): It was great for a quick stop over - Undercover parking Coffee
- Phoebe (7/5): -
- Danae (5/5): - Quiet overnight. Dirty handbasin and mirror. Fridge seals dirty. Shower water could not be contained with the shower curtain.
- Leanne (7/5): A good comfortable budget price motel with undercover parking - I chose this motel as it had good undercover parking for my car. It has good access from the highway and it is reasonably priced. It was clean and comfortable with a good bed and good water pressure and very quick hot water. The owner was very nice. The gardens and lawns were in need of maintenance to enhance the property as they were quite overgrown.
- Staples (8/5): - Clean and comfortable.
- Murray (10/5): Great place to stay & will be back on my next trip - Friendly staff & very clean… parking is excellent Location to eating facilities
- F (8/5): -
- PJ (10/5): Standard motel in a beautiful small town. Cheap, clean, and convenient - Standard motel in a beautiful small town. Cheap, clean, and convenient.
- Raoul (10/5): - Nice amenities very friendly hosts good value
- Craze (2/5): No tv chanels for my viewing
And seem to be in need of maintenance to some areas getting a bit ru - Accessible Price appears to change when booking not happy
- Robert (8/5): Was suitable for our overnight stay -

- Grant (10/5): Top stay. - Roos at back paddock. N-A.
- thorpe (10/5): - The manager and staff don’t forget you once you return and happy to make sure your stay is comfortable
- Michelle (7/5): - Grounds need to be mowed and tidied up to look presentable
- Gary Ian (10/5): - Yes
- Harold (9/5): We will stay again when we come through Glen Innes. - A pleasant place to stay. Well set up room and quiet so that we could have a restful night.
- Kirstie (7/5): - The family that own it were very pleasant and communicated well. Comfy bed , clean and had a hairdryer which was good Nothing
- Carole (10/5): -
- Sandy (6/5): -
- Ruth (7/5): Clean and Comfortable, Great Value for Money - The Clansman Motel, though dated, was spotlessly clean. There was a Microwave, toaster and kettle. We were there on a fairly cold night but there was plenty of warmth options. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bed cosy and comfortable. Not a big problem but because of the shower confirmation, water splashed out onto the bathroom floor.
- Bernard (5/5): Pleasant - Old but clean and comfortable , quiet Too far from town to walk
- Nick (10/5): - Very comfortable beds - great pillows!
- Neville (8/5): - A good motel at a great price!!
- Keith (4/5): - Old property, poorly maintained inside and out. Old and worn out bathroom, tv etc. Beds are comfortable.
- Bruce (7/5): Endurable rather than enjoyable. - Good bed, nice to have a table Arriving to "No Food" notices, rather appropriate, because the only crockery or cutlery was 2 mugs and 2 teaspoons. While there was a toaster there was no provision to have toast! No ability to prepare or eat anything except tea or coffee.
- Kristy (8/5): Comfy and cosy value for money - Great value for money. Very spacious and lots of items keeping everyone warm
- Kim (9/5): -
- Terri (3/5): - The view out the window to the back of the motel. No plates or cutlery, air conditioner wasn't working properly, hot water for shower took 5 minutes to come through, bathroom was freezing cold.,we couldn't get all tv stations..really wasn't worth $150 a night
- Bykersma (7/5): - Facilities in the room and linen provided was good. Only access to one double powerpoint between the twin beds made it hard to have the bedside lamp connected, two phones connected and two electric blankets connected at the same time.
Carpet needs replacing.
- Jeff (8/5): The motel owner was so friendly and easy to talk to. - Older style but clean and comfortable. Good for the price. Nothing specific.
- Terrance (7/5): -
- O'Sullivan (9/5): Have stayed here before and definitely would stay and thoroughly recommend. - The room was exceptionally clean and quite roomy.
Enjoyed the a/c and electric blankets as it was very cold in Glen Innes.
The bed was very comfy.
Towels were changed even though we did not require the room to be tidied as we had done that.
Undercover parking is a bonus.
Staff very welcoming.
- Kay (8/5): comfortable for an overnight stay - room comfortable/clean for overnight stay Continental breakfast could have been included in the price - as other motels offer breakfast for same price
- Neville (10/5): - Stay was excellent
- Pamela (7/5): Good - Comfortable Water went everywhere when showering.
- Trish (9/5): Superb - Extremely clean !!!
- Neil (10/5): - The check-in Gentleman was very good and helpful. The room was up to standard and suitable for a solo traveler.
I would go back agin.
- Avada (7/5): Good -
