- Gabrielle (10/5): Best getaway we’ve had - Absolutely everything! Didn’t want to leave That we had to go home!
- Donald (10/5): A very special place for anyone wishing to relax and enjoy Victoria's wonderful wildlife - My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights at the start of our tour of Victoria. Writing this just before we have to go home to the UK I can say without a doubt that Wombat Bend was the highlight. Sue and Bill have created a delightful oasis in the bush filled with an astounding array of wildlife. In particular the range of birds was out of this world. Their commitment to The Burrow shines out of everything they do. Sue was a great host who provided advice about places to go and lots of information about the wildlife. We'd thoroughly recommend staying here and would love to be able to return to this special place at some point. Nothing

Lots of warm blankets if feel like having a cuppa on the deck overlooking the water on a chilly morning. There's literally nothing not to like about the Burrow!
- Kimberly (10/5): Magic. Absolutely magic - Our hosts wwre amazing. The accommodation was absolute perfection. We were supplied with everything we needed and absolutely loved our time there
- Elizabeth (9/5): Abundant supplies to compliment our wine purchases and bubbles at the end of the day. Lovely outlook and accommodating h - Cottage cost! nil
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is supplied for you to make your own breakfast....and I mean everything!! Fantastic. Great location. Easy to drive to or from Melbourne and a great point for exploring the Yarra Valley. Wonderful hosts and a spot to stop, rest and renew your energy. Comfortable bed and pillows, wonderful bathroom with lots of soft towels. The kitchen is really well equipped and the lounge area has a choice of sofas and reading nooks. Wifi is supplied. There is a TV and DVD's if you want to watch a movie or two. You can sit around the lake and read a book or share a glass of wine and watch the birds....its all up to you. Nothing!
- Michael (10/5): Worthy of many repeat visits! - Beautiful grounds and spectacularly maintained accommodations! Gracious, friendly hosts in Sue and Bill - and Angus! The quiet solitude was just the remedy after a chaotic week. Wished we could have stayed longer!!!

- Mairin (10/5): A little bit of paradise in every way - The Burrow is a beautiful haven; the minute we walked in we didn’t want leave! It’s beautifully decorated, cosy, yet with all the mod cons you need for the perfect stay. Sue and Bill had left plenty of provisions for a sumptuous brunch. And the bed was bliss. Brunch on the veranda was perfect. And then we go outside…the work Bill and Sue have landscaped the surrounding area to truly make it a little piece of paradise. And they too were very warm and welcoming. We’ve not stayed in a place quite like this and we certainly hope to return.
- Ian (10/5): - This was the ideal place for my wife and I to stay for our long weekend in the beautiful Yarra Valley. From the time we arrived when we were greeted by the lovely hosts until the time we left it was total relaxation in idyllic surroundings of nature. As Frank Costanza said, “Serenity Now, Serenity Now!”. Highly recommend this place.
- JR (10/5): - Lovely location And a beautiful rural setting, very relaxing. Food supplies were first class. Vert central to attractions such as wineries in Yarra valley
- barb (10/5): - Lovely quiet location nestled in a valley looking out onto a lake filled with bird life. The hosts were lovely, the accommodation comfy and clean. A variety of treats and breakfast goodies laid on for our enjoyment. Wandering around the lake was a delight.
