Vanessa (9/5): Clean room,/smelly lift - The cleanliness of the room and most importantly, the bathroom. There was a strange, almost composted/mouldy grass smell in the lift. It was disgusting and although it was brought to the attention of staff, the foul smell remained. Might be time to replace or professionally clean the lift carpet. Our balcony had 2 solar batteries on it complete with large Danger warnings on them. They were a hazard that I did not enjoy sleeping less than 2 metres from.

Loved the lift as my partner and I struggle with stairs. We really enjoyed our stay. We will stay again when we are next in Lismore A cloth and a tea towel to clean and wipe the dishes would have been useful. A toaster would be handy too

Walking distance to the pool and the rest of the Lismore CBD. Very close to the Workers club. Parking was good. Starting to look a little old. But big picture wise it had everything you would need.

Robert (8/5): Clean, well appointed place to stay, next door to club for meals. - Rooms are spacious, well appointed and clean. Undercover parking is good. Location next to the Workers Club is a bonus for evening meals. Nice large balcony. Elevator is good. Staff very friendly. Except for the issues with noise and light mentioned below, a very comfortable stay. Location is both a plus and a minus. On the road side of the building, quite a lot of road noise is audible even with balcony doors closed. In addition, there was an extreme amount of noise from passers by around 2-3am, and loud banging noises from below (in the garage?). While external noise is out of the control of management, perhaps more soundproofing would be helpful. In addition, one external wall of the room (116) faces the very bright lights illuminating the entrance to the car park. The lights seemed to be lit up all night, and the shutters on the windows of that wall do not close tightly enough keep the light out. Perhaps some block out drapes as well would work better.

Edward (7/5): Basic but friendly stay in Lismore - Basic but clean motel, friendly and helpful staff, centrally located, ample parking. It’s as you would expect for a small country town motel. To make it really great the owners could give it a facelift.

Lisa Sparkles (8/5): Beaut little town! - I liked the old school feel, the breakfast holes still in place. It was a decent size room with 2 beds which is rare for accessible accommodation! The shower chair was a little bit scary, but great they had one. The bathroom is manageable. But with assistance. I doubt many could stay on their own and shower and do the usual routine. It was confusing to have workers club in the title. Maybe lose that and just be “the bounty”! Had to move the lounge to make it more accessible. But it was covering some unknown “accident” it might have been milk, but didn’t smell like it. All in all it was a pleasant experience, and I’d stop over in lismore again! It’s a beautiful place, and service was great at trident fish and chips. - worth the visit! I’m glad I could support local, I could still a see signs of the floods, so I hope my little contribution staying there helps someone in some way! Lism💙re! I woke up to a roach crawling on my bed! That put me off. The booking appeared to be at the workers club, but it was in a different building and nothing to do with the other. Change the name - it’s misleading. I loved your little community! We also stayed for the proximity to crystal castle, which is a beautiful scenic drive to and from!
