- Maximo (7/5): Ok place for a short stay on a budget near Batemans Bay. - Good value for money considering Easter holiday weekend and last minute booking. Large room and bathroom and the in-room jacuzzi was a most welcome bonus. Comfortable bed. Great that the room had a small fridge and microwave and kettle. No wifi in the rooms. TV had poor or no signal. Ground floor is a pub so can get pretty noisy with music and crowds. Does not serve any food.

- Marlen (6/5): Our stay is just ok. - The location. Walking distance to the shopping centre There is no wifi. Our room 28 has a sauna bath but it doesn’t smell good. It smells and looks old. There are also lots of bats flying around at night which is scary for me to go out at night time.
- Binod (9/5): - Good Good
- TANVIR (1/5): Disgusting and dissatisfying - The room was spacious and clean The receptionist or the guy whom I meet during the check in. He firstly came after I rang the bell, then told me he will be back and I had to wait for 5 minutes there for no valid reason. Then when he came back pointed me his dog and was saying he gave the dog a name of Muslims God! Which is absolutely insane and racist remark for me. He could easily see I’m a south East Asian and a Muslim probably by my name. So completely shocked and disappointed by his behaviour

- Desley (7/5): Clean, quiet and well located. Good parking! - I was upgraded from a share room to a suite. And very nice! Clean comfortable room, well equipped. The TV a bit small imo, but that is a small issue but as I wear glasses it was a bit annoying. Otherwise very nice. Quiet considering in a pub in the middle of town. I really liked this place. The TV being so small and with v annoying sound quality.
- Mark (8/5): -
- Fiona (1/5): Not a place to stay if your worried about noise - The decor and cleanliness of the room. The sheets and towels were first class. Our room was above the bar and had no sound insulation so we were treated to dudd, duff, ping ping music each night. it was like we were in a night club! The bar clientele were probably 18 to 25,, so I'm sure the music and volume suited them fine.
The door was just of a hollow fill construction with a gap underneath it. You could hear the people in the corridor talking at 1.30 am as if they were in your room.It definetly wasn't fire rated and there was no fire alarm in the room either.
There was only one blanket on the bed and the weather had turned cold. There wasn't a spare one in the wardrobe. The heat setting on the a/c didn't work so I kept my sweater on.
- Robert (9/5): - Food Noise
- Ian (9/5): Restful and peaceful. - Clean, friendly, good service. Old building with character. There was nothing not to like!
- GERTRUDA (7/5): -
- Alyson (1/5): Never stay there again, rude, horrible and just plain mean laughing in my face! - Nothing to like about a roach infested rude owner and music playing all night from 8lm to 8.30am from the jukebox downstairs. The owner was very rude and the music from the jukebox all night 8pm to 8.30am after not being turned off and then the owner laughed at me when I told him about it.
- Bec (2/5): -
- XIANGYI (7/5): - Good location. Easy parking.
There is a talking cockatoo in the yard (caged) - amazing! Definitely a highlight for our stay. Kids loved it so much. Staff kept us waiting (they saw us standing right I front of the reception but chose to only attend us after finishing their other businesses without talking to us for over 5 minutes).
They attempted to charge us double the price and still tried it again after being challenged by me. Come on, it cannot be a honest mistake because the amount was clear with Booking.com and the double price they tried to charge me is ridiculously high to an accommodation like this (you are not a five star Four Seasons hotel).
On the checkout, no one was at the reception and there was no message or instruction of where to leave the keys. There is no secure place to drop the keys. Another group of guests and we waited for over 10 minutes and had to witness each other putting the keys back to the rooms before leaving.
- Leticia (8/5): I recommend - Great location, right on town centre, near restaurants, cafes, pub. Clean and with all we needed. Spacious room and bathroom. Parking on premises. Despite location on busy street, very quiet at night. It is above the pub so music and talking is expected till certain time. Not a problem for few nights, I can handle it, but not for long stay though.
- Shannon (10/5): Excellent - Lovely little pub lovely clean room friendly staff I felt sad for the cockies in the cage that was the only down side
- Rachel (2/5): - The room was clean. 1. We couldn't sleep as beetles keep falling from the ceiling on one of our beds. We caught at least six of them as well as a cockroach. We also heard sounds of them behind the wall. This is certainly a known issue as we also found beetles in other common areas. It didn't appear that anything was being done about it.
2. We also had several loose spider webs on the ceiling and walls that could easily have been removed and looked like they were about to fall on the beds.
3. The mattresses were worn out.
4. The room smelled very old.
5. The space between the sink and toilet was extremely tight, so not suitable for corpulent people.
6. No Wi-Fi available.
7. Very poor customer service. We complained through booking.com but despite their help, even they didn't get a response from the accommodation acknowledging at least the beetle issue, apologising, confirming to review this or offering some kind of compensation. As a side note, it also took too long to leave on the next day as there was no staff and no box to return the key. After searching someone, we called the accommodation persistently until a cleaner came to pick up and take the key.
Especially based on 1., the accommodation was completely overrated and overpriced. Would we have known about the issues 1.-4., we wouldn't even have booked it if it was for free.
- Dorothee (9/5): Simple but good - Good location and clean rooms! Small rooms did not have air-conditioning. Would have been ok if it had not been the hottest day of the summer.
- Ings (6/5): - Friendly staff on check in
Older style property that had charm
Lots of onsite parking
Bedding comfy and nice regular towels, not usual hotel clinical white No toaster/ hairdryer
No food onsite
Small mini fridge, not usual bar fridge size.
- Shahn (7/5): -
- Catherine (7/5): -
- Aleksander (9/5): - The gentleman at the bar/reception was really lovely and helpful
- Wark (7/5): Convenient and an appropriate for our needs. - The location The stairs and no kitchen
- Peter (3/5): -
- Jennifer Sue (7/5): -
- SUE (10/5): Great - Location & staff. Nothing, everything was up to standard
- Sally (8/5): -
- Williams (8/5): Great Moruya Hotel stay for price! - Close to town, staff were friendly, room was spacious with air-con which was needed for our 40 degree day of arrival. Bathroom was a little tight, sink was too large to fit comfortably on toilet. Everything else was ok.
- David (5/5): Pricey for what it was, but just about passable. - Location fabulous, mostly clean and comfortable. Able to access our Netflix acct. Kettle was old and dirty. No other utensils. Bedsheet had holes in it. 1970s decor, needs a revamp.
- Ben (6/5): -
- Sharon (6/5): Fine if you want to stay in old style pub accom - It was clean Very dated pub accom. Many rooms (we booked 6) without bathrooms.
- WEI (8/5): -
- Judy (7/5): Good place to stay for a short time while on the road - Old time charm, very clean, even the shared bathroom was clean, provided plenty of towels and bedding. No aircon for a hot night, on the main road there is still noise, from early morning street sweeper, only one shower available. But all okay for our single night stay.
- Melissa (10/5): -
- Eric (5/5): - Everything was clean and the towels were very soft. The corridor smelled of cigarette. It was very old. the staff at the check-in was not friendly and we saw noboby when we checked-out so we had to leave the keys on the reception desk.
- Phil (8/5): Accomodation is adequate for a fair price.l have stayed here before and will again - Property is in an ideal location if you want to be in the CBD
- MAGALAKSHMI (9/5): Great for couples but not for family with young kids - Location there is pub below the stay The toilet was to close to wash basin that your leg will bang it
- Jennifer Theresse (8/5): -
- Harold (7/5): - Central location and secure parking No dining option and strong cigarette smell from outside.
- zahra (8/5): Beer garden is nice -
- Christine (9/5): - Fantastisk morgenmad
- Amos (5/5): Old and small but convenient motel. - Good location next to shopping and food Street. Room was very old and small. The access to the room was up two flights of concrete steps which were terrible to navigate with our luggage. There was hardly any space on the floor to open our luggage.
The room walls were thin and thus conversations from the neighbouring room could be heard.
- Sylvie (8/5): - central, facilité d'accès un peu bruyant (il faut dire que je me suis couchée tôt pour partir au petit matin à vélo)
- Alessandro (4/5): -
- Shontelle (7/5): Great for one night stay - Great location Very noisy
- Kiri (7/5): Got what we expected for what we paid. - Cheap and convenient and most of all clean.
- Sharlene (8/5): -
- Reynolds (2/5): Worth Mentioning! - The Service was okay. The bed was okay. No T.V. I could not get it to work. Neither could a Staff Member. I just wanted to lay and watch what ever movie was on but the T.V. would not cooperate. I paid $184 to relax whilst the noise of Pub took place. Which is normal. But it would have been nice to drown out the noises with the T.V. I would like to stay at your again in the future. I think 1night for free would be nice compensation. Also, I think the A.C. does not swirl the air. Only blows down woods. I really only wanted 1 bed. But it was a two beder.
