- Nino (7/5): Great value fun for all the family - Great for children Access to office out of hours

- Stacey (8/5): Nice resort, good location - Nice resort, large apartment with laundry and kitchen. The kitchen had everything you’d need. The staff were really lovely and friendly as well, and it’s in a good location, not far from the beach, the pub next door does good food, and there are shops nearby. Aircon worked great as well. Only a couple of small things: it would be great if the shower curtains were weighted. The fan in the bathroom blows it directly into you when showering, so it sticks. It’s easier to shower with curtain open. The second thing is no designated smoking area. It’s a terrible look to have guests and staff standing out the front on the lawn by the road. There should be an area in the car park.

- Karen (9/5): good location, - Location was great, facilities on site were good, staff very friendly. The only fault we found was that the lounge seating was not very comfortable, couldn't quite relax when watching a movie.
- Shannon Dyer (9/5): amazing! will definitely be back - Lovely indoor and outdoor pool. a bit of renovation needs doing.
- Thomas (10/5): - It was very good and comfortable, the staff were kindness personified, I would highly recommend this resort for family holidays.
- Susan (9/5): - Pool, BBQ's, tennis courts, games rooms, mini golf, borrow DVDs from reception, The mini golf needed to be cleaned of sticks and leaves, a spa was out of order the whole stay,
- Karen (10/5): Great Stay - Excellent stay at an amazing property. Very Clean. A/C in every Bedroom. Recently renovated.
- Charles (10/5): - Excellent pools. Close to attractions in Mandurah. Quiet location. No bar facilities. Adult lounge locked at 8pm.
- Aneta (8/5): Overall good value for money, nice place to get away for a few days. - Great location 5 min walk to the beach, the pool was nice and the spa, lots of space in the appartment, large bathrooms, nice bedrooms, sunblock curtains were the bonuc, nice kitchen. Limited internet access, the pool should be opened longer hours not just 8pm, one spa did not work, the showers were quite small. No coffee matchine in the kitchen, the long tall glasses were plastic not glass. No oven. Not many restaurants near by.
- Michelle (9/5): -
- Hadland (9/5): Relaxing and enjoyable - Me and my granddaughter's had a wonderful relaxing few days we especially enjoy the pool and spa 😊 was a godsend on the 40 degree day We have no complaints
- Eleonora (6/5): Pleasant but will not choose this resort again. - The facilities, the pools and the minigolf. Staff were nice and helpful. Big unit with lots of room for a family of 4. Cleaning service every Thursday was also a plus. The cleaning staff are awesome. The mattresses in our unit were uncomfortable and the bathroom fans were barely working.
There are rules to respect around pools but most timesharers disregard them. The staff/caretakers were notified about the misbehaviour of some of the guests. Lots of unsupervised kids using scooters too.
- Robyn (7/5): -
- Alisha (5/5): Average at best - Location, gardens Dated and not well kept needs some money invested to keep it up to date , pools and spas closed for maintenance,
Spiders and cockroaches in room
- Janette (8/5): My stay was very relaxing, Staff very helpful and friendly. I am looking forward to a future stay - It was noisy from road traffic on Mandurah Road. Prefer to stay on western side in future.
- Cherylee (10/5): -

- Carly (8/5): - Silver Sands doesn't claim to be a 5 start Resort it is a 3 star Resort so I keep that in mind with this review.
Overall I enjoyed my time at Silver Sands, we stayed over xmas with our two kids and had a blast.
The only reason there isn't a higher rating is due to a issues I think can be rectified and would raise the standard of the Resort as a whole making it closer to the top end of a 3 star Resort.
The pools, both pools are amazing the outdoor pool stays frigid cold for those hot summer days and the indoor pool is fantastic but less ideal on those hotter summer days.
The mini golf is fun and mini its a small and incentive course, the playground if you have younger kids is also great, if they don't wanna go in the pools.
The games rooms and adult rooms are a bit bland, but have a few activities.
Overall I enjoyed my stay at Silver Sands and would definitely consider going back, hopefully with less cockroaches next time. It is what you pay for. The staff are also outstanding doing a great job. My biggest issue was cock roach in our bathroom, bugs, spiders really mess me up and I had to be rescued from my wife from this one, but seriously cockroaches in rooms shouldn't be a thing in this day and age.
Both pools have issues with the tile work if it was just visual wouldn't bug me but I cut my foot as well as my wife on the outdoor pools floor where tiles were missing.
- Valerie (9/5): Great holiday - Excellent accomodation, facilities and service N/A
- Vinita (10/5): -
- Trish (8/5): - Location No gym
- Shaun (10/5): We brought our grandchildren with us for the second year in a row and had a fantastic time. - Indoor/outdoor pool. Spas were lovely and soothing. Clean, roomy with plenty to occupy our grandchildren. Two bedroom apartments were great with plenty of room. Staff were all so lovely. We enjoyed everything.
- Anderson (8/5): -
- Whitmore (7/5): Good place to stay for a few nights, but not great - Good location and friendly staff Units tired and equipment in units very basic
- Duncan (10/5): -
- Helen (10/5): Amazing short stay in Mandurah. - Very well maintained resort with heaps of activities on offer. The pools and spas were exceptionally clean and very inviting. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nothing.
- steve (8/5): -
- Ally (9/5): Relaxing and comfortable - Quiet and close to the beach - big rooms making it easy to spread out and see visitors All good
- Madeleine (10/5): - The facilities are elite and the staff are friendly and helpful That we couldn’t stay for longer
- Ben (10/5): - The whole experience was amazing. So.many facilities and so much to do at the resort. Staff are very friendly and kind. We throughly enjoyed our stay. We will try to book again in the future. One of the best experiences we have had. Well worth the money. The staff are a credit and should be acknowledged for the efforts they all put in.
- RAY (9/5): -
- Douglas (5/5): -
- horne (10/5): - What a fantastic resort even in winter indoor heated pool atleast 4 hot spas, DVD library games library short walk to the beach.. When the couch is used as a bed hard to open the fridge
- Raquel (9/5): Thank you from Sam and Raquel especially Glen Amber at reception and Ed and the cleaners, we will be back ! - The location is fantastic for Mandurah , the facilities are clean and have been updated the pool, spa, sauna is so good but I wish for adults it was open later, to enjoy once the kids are asleep . The General Manager, Glen, personally assisted me in resolving an issue I had with being unable to check in at the resort. He took the time to call me directly, which I really appreciated. We unfortunately missed the check-in time and were unable to reach anyone that evening, which meant we had to return home and come back the following day. I would suggest implementing a follow-up process for guests due to check in, to ensure they can still access the property if they are delayed. It was also challenging that the direct website kept freezing and there is no direct phone number listed . The phone number was not available until after a booking was made, as this made it difficult to resolve the situation in a timely manner.
That said, I would like to acknowledge Glenn, the General Manager, who personally called me to assist with the matter. His direct involvement and willingness to help were greatly appreciated. The children struggled with the wifi, an air frier would be handy since there isn’t an oven. I wish the pool and spa was accessible to adults after the kids are asleep for some relaxing downtime .
- Helen (10/5): -
- Mukesh (8/5): - Only issue was communication as the keys were not present at key box as per instructions. However. It was arranged quickly by property caretaker and she eased our troubles amicably. Thanks to team who was working on Saturday and Sunday.
- Cheryl (10/5): - It was a self-contained unit, which meant it suited travel with young children. It was winter and there were wet days so their indoor pool and the games room were a great way to keep young children entertained. It would have been easier if the parking were closer the unit esp as it was raining the day we arrived and the day we left.
- Tanya (10/5): Exceptional - The heated pool and spa were great. Rooms were spacious and very well decorated.
- Julian (10/5): - Amazing stay, amazing pool and spa, will come back again! Safe, clean and fun for everyone, including a narrow but very challenging mini golf course!
- Eddison (8/5): We will probably go again. -
- Danielle (8/5): We had a lovely stay and hope to be back in the future - It was a lovely family stay, the kids loved the pool and spa facilities and the property was well cared for. Limited reception hours to be able to enjoy the family games room and mini golf
- Laraine (8/5): Very good -
- Munro (8/5): Very good -
- Fiona (9/5): Superb -
- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grace (7/5): Was very relaxing.. cold and warm were very good.. - Close to walking distance to beach..
Also can walk into the Mandurah centre. No restaurant .. tavern close by not open Monday Tuesday disappointing..even though we know tavern is not part of your group..
Also we have tried to book here at silver sands resort before but not been very successful. I am even looking for sept that’s not looking good either.
- Beverley (8/5): Very good -
- Suret (10/5): Can't wait to come back - All of the fun things ro do at the resort, the kind staff and how clean it was. The late check in amd the $15 over flow parking.
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (5/5): Passable - The facilities are very good as is the price. We paid $1300 for a week over the new year period for a 1 bed unit. The venue is dated with remedial work carried out on the cheap side. The fan in our bathroom did not work and we had to request linen for the pull out sofa even though we'd booked for a child. However for what we paid, the accommodation was very good.
- Unknown (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceeded my expectation, was really lovely - The pool, the spacious & clean airconed apartment, all the inclusions like mini golf, tennis & games rooms No lifts or someone to help carry bags up the stairs at check in/check out
- Grace (8/5): Great family resort in a perfect location. - Everything was super clean.
Units were large with plenty of space. Full size kitchen and outdoor bbq area made dinners easy!
Pool facility is amazing with everything you need from young kids to adults. Overall we really enjoyed our stay but a gym facility would have been awesome, and a set of swings at the playground would have made it perfect.
- Kerry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dean (7/5): Good - Great facilities Our apartment was lovely but our view from the balcony was probably the worst in the complex. Most other 2nd floor balconies overlooked the pool, or at least the garden. Ours looked onto the roof which was disappointing.
- Angela (9/5): We loved our stay at Silver Sands Resort, it exceeded our expectations and we will be back again. - The room was bigger than expected, very spacious, lovely set up. The heated spas and having multiple spas to use was great and the pool area in general was fabulous, the gardens were beautiful. Staff were friendly and proficient. Overall loved the whole place and will be back and will recommend to others. It was a shame the kids games room equipment was needed to be accessed via reception as it made it unusable after 5pm.
- Tania (10/5): thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the security and spaciousness made the stay very comfortable - the security and spaciousness made the stay very comfortable nothing
- Cynthia (9/5): Superb -
- Mattell1 (8/5): Very good -
- Lea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jamie (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (7/5): Great launch pad for Margaret River and the wineries - Convenient location good large 2br apartment. 2nd floor apartment no lift. The lounge suites need replacing not comfortable at all.
- Waata (9/5): Superb -
- Natalie (6/5): Pools were great but definitely won’t be staying here again - The indoor and outdoor pools were fantastic All the balconies face inwards so no privacy. Area was less than dodgey so ended up not tiding our bicycles. Reception closed so early everyday and we had to walk so far around the property to get in/out when it closed. Not enough trees or shaded areas. Apartment was less than average standard, had to get new batteries for remote and switch the fridge and aircon on when we arrived so it was so stuffy and warm in there. Aircon was so noisy. Kids bed were hard. Found and killed 2 cockroaches (huge ones), one was on the couch were we were sitting. Shower water pressure wasn’t great. No shampoo or anything provided for toiletries, only 3 small bars of soap. No tissues or anything to welcome our stay. Where we parked the birds and tree sap was all over our car in the mornings so my husband had to take the car to the wash twice, asked if we could move the car (numerous empty car bays near us) and got told no. “Adults room with library” was not very easy on the eye and only old adult books.
- Jill (10/5): Very enjoyable stay with brilliant indoor/outdoor pool facilities. The whole place was spotless -
- Matt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joyce (8/5): Great spot for families preferable in one car to save additional parking cost. - Loved the pools and scattered areas for families to sit. Paying $10 per day for visitor parking was disappointing. Both showers we were unable to get hot water running.
- Owen (7/5): Good - The fact it has good security an nobody hassles you while staying in apartment That the pool areas close at 8pm
- Sharon (9/5): Superb - We loved staying here especially the location and the cleanliness of the whole complex I would have liked the opstion of early check-in
- Daniel (7/5): Good - The pool and spa facilities were great. The location was great and close to town. The rooms were comfortable. Although well maintained, the decor and design is dated.
- Sue (8/5): Very good - Apartment was spacious and everything that you needed for a comfortable stay was there We did request a room with a view if possible as we travelled over to attend a funeral however our apartment looked onto the pool filtration system. A little bit disappointing
- Joseph (9/5): Superb -
- Matt (9/5): Superb -
- Ashlee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Garry (9/5): Superb -
- Beryl (10/5): Great place to stay and excellent location -
- Renae (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karlah (9/5): Superb - Lots of activities to do with kids No oven in the apartment so limited what we cook and bbq wasnt working
- Sheavyn (9/5): Superb -
- Currell (8/5): Very good -
- Don (10/5): Really Enjoyable - Really enjoyable resort location for a family holiday, very well appointed and wonderful staff.
- Christine (8/5): Very good - Having to pay $ 15.00 for an extra car bay when there were plenty of bays empty.
- Russell (8/5): Very good - clean and good location little expensive
- Hazel (5/5): Kids had fun in pool - The pools The apartment outdoor area
- William (8/5): Excellent for R&Rg - The pool, access to the beach, calm ambiance Distance from town ..Suggest shuttle bus.
- Stephanie (10/5): Great place to stay for a summer holiday. - excellent facilities. The pools were amazing. Our unit was comfortable and well equipped. Close to Mandurah centre and Silver Sands beach.
- Ashleigh (8/5): Very good -
- Katherine (9/5): Family fun getaway loved by all! - I visited Silversands Resort as a kid in the 90’s with my parents. It is as I remember it and I must say hats off to those who maintain this resort. It is clean and extremely well kept. The pool areas are amazing, BBQ areas clean, apartments are roomy and everything is close by.
I have 2 young kids and they go to bed early. For those who need a quiet place for kids to sleep, No need to worry about that. Also, block out blinds AMAZING!
I hope to be back again this year! I can’t rebook for the Easter holidays!
- Augustien (8/5): Stay was great. - The location and ammenities were awesome. The TV network was not good. It kept dropping out.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - If you have only a short amount of time and don't want to travel too far with little children- this is the place to be. We already got the good weather and beaches in Perth so why not make the most of it?! This place is under an hour car trip from Perth and tailored for families. The apartments are spacious and clean, you get kitchen, fridge, dish washer, washing machine, dryer. The pools are gorgeous! The whole pool area is beautifully maintained with hot tubs and pools indoors and outdoors. The gardeners deserve a big compliment for making the place look great with all the lovely flowers and plants. You can tell, people really care! Thanks for caring!
There is a small mini golf course next to the car park and tennis court, playground, games room with air hockey, pool etc.
The only wish i had would have been an opportunity to eat at the resort. A little cafe or something would be great. But the pub next door does good food too and the IGA is not far off either. Mandurah foreshore is just a 5 minute drive away, where you can watch some dolphins if lucky or eat some fish and chips at Cicerellos. There is a big playground at the foreshore too and you can hop on a cruise if you wish too.
All in one, we had a nice stay and can recommend a visit.
- Tali (10/5): - I liked everything. Pools spas sauna, I didn’t like the games room with all the $2 machines. I think it should be all free machines or things like toy kitchens, climbing wall, cubby house etc
We almost ran out of toilet paper and two of each dishwashing soap laundry soap weren’t enough we had to buy more but was enough to cover us till we went to the shop.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great family holiday - Lovely unit with everything needed for the stay. pool area amazing for kids and relaxing. Lots of amenities close by.
