- Daniel (10/5): Great value for your money, and we found the stay memorable. - The owner is just lovely and very helpful. The BEST part was the free breakfast - wow great poached eggs and toast. The free cooked breakfast was a lovely surprise, and very rare these days for any stays in motels, a wonderful addition to travels. The venue is in a great location for visiting Swan Hill, especially close proximity to Pioneer Settlement village, a great tourist attraction. It is an older style motel, but full marks on facilities, and coffee and tea and biscuits proportions were very generous, and toiletries were also provided. It was also very quiet, which is a bonus, and the maid service was excellent, everything was very clean. Nothing.

Great breaky options included too. Some of the fixtures like shower curtain could do with replacing. Also I couldn’t see a smoke alarm.

- Gail (7/5): Great overnight stay. - The motel was dated but very good value compared to other accommodation in the area. The shower was great. Bed comfortable. Soundproof rooms. You also had a cooked breakfast included in the price which was a bonus. The parking area was very crowded- we parked outside on the street but there was plenty of room and safe. Small cars would find it much easier.

- Peter (5/5): Reasonable priced but it is an old motel. - Priced to value for money and the cooked breakfast was an added incentive being included in the rate. We got what we paid for. Age of the motel goes against it. Our room was flooded by a previous guest and they couldn't get the floor dry in time and there were no other rooms spare. The owner did his best to correct the situation. Car park is extremely tight. Noise from the road was noticeable.

- Charles (9/5): An overnight stay on the way to Adelaide from Rutherglen - This is an excellent motel, the room is well equipped with a/c, a fridge, microwave and toaster. Several options are available for the free breakfast. The TV had Netflix and other options and there was a small swimming pool which was lovely for cooling down on the the day we were there was 47 degrees. Nothing really. If you want a bigger room and a better breakfast then don't economise here but stay in a more expensive hotel

Maybe some herbal teas in the box of goodies - not just the usual coffee and tea sachets - perhaps a little more variety on offer. Also - ice in the freezers or available at reception, especially on super hot days like when I was there!!!

Noise from the main road is noticeable and there was some sort of knocking all night, maybe the wind on the roof.

- Annemarie (3/5): Sorry won’t be staying there ever again. The staff are lovely - It was close to the town The bed mattress was old, you could feel the springs. The phone on the wall near the bed side table was tapped up and it looks like it has been burnt because it was melted and stuck up with sticky tape. The bed light lamp looks like it’s been burnt, the silver part wear the bulb goes into it. The wiring on the TV cord near the you plug, the wiring was showing. The aerial cord was not connected to the TV, we connected it and it kept on falling out. Now the hot water, we had no hot water at 01:30 in the morning, we had to go to bed dirty after been at the speedway all day. Got up in the morning and tried again and still no hot water. Rang the motel office, I was told to turn the hot water tap on and leave it on it will take a while for the hot water to come through the pipe, that’s if the other motel rooms haven’t used all the hot water. This is not good enough, this room shouldn’t be like that, especially the hot water.

Parking is very tight. But was entertaining watching people who can’t drive try to get in and out. We managed with a bt50 with canopy but could be concerning for others who can’t reverse.

Jug/kettle hard to fill, freezer in the fridge needed defrosting, needed some more electrical outlets for sleep machines. the car parking was a bit cramped. Office closed in the afternoon twice, put the breakfast orders under the door.

- Julie (3/5): - Clean and staff were nice Old and walls all broken apart, very small , we paid for a connection room and there was a cupboard in the way of the door so we could only just squeeze through but couldn’t take our stuff through so we had to keep moving our car from one side of the motel to the other. We were unaware the time for breakfast and went to get breakfast that was included in our fee but it was closed at 8.30. They did give us free drinks to make up for missing breakfast.
