The shower kept overflowing - there didn't appear to be enough fall towards the outlet. The sheets appeared to have mould stains on them, which i had to ask to be changed.

Some wear and tear in the bathroom due to water and moisture damage. I would've liked an option other than open a window for fresh air.

• Joel (9/5): Clean, modern motel with great amenities and friendly service – perfect for day shifts. - had a really pleasant experience. The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained. There were plenty of amenities provided, and I appreciated the extra bedding and pillows available in the cupboard. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, which is always a bonus! The gardens are beautifully kept, adding to the overall fresh and tidy feel of the place. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. One thing to note—if you're working night shifts, the rooms might not be ideal. Due to their design, a lot of natural light comes in during the day, and unfortunately, there’s not much you can do to block it out. The motel also has a restaurant on-site, which I’m looking forward to trying on my next visit. They recommend placing your order before 5 pm to avoid long waits or missing out, which is helpful advice. Another bonus: it's just a short walk to the Coal and Cattle pub, so it’s conveniently located if you’re looking for nearby dining or a drink. Overall, I’d absolutely stay here again and am looking forward to seeing how their kitchen performs on my next visit!

However our room had quite a strong smell of bleach which seemed to be emanating from the linen (which I found unpleasant), and the bathroom shower cubicle had discoloured wall tiles and mouldy grout lines.

Room was nice and spacious. Room was tired, cracked tiles in bathroom, rust on metal trim, burn mark on carpet. Bed wasnt made on arrival, some rubbish left from last occupant. Dinner was below expectation, steak was overcooked badly for the price. Could have been just busy and understaffed. Unfortunately probably wouldn't stay again.

• Daniel (4/5): In need of a makeover - Quiet location. Aircon units are useless and barely capable of removing the humidity and dropping the temp a few degrees. Most units have various degrees of cracking and damage due to foundation movement with bathrooms and kitchens showing the worst damage. Paint and condition of walls in a lot of the units is not great. Fixtures such as towel rails, cupboard doors, venetian blinds, etc are damaged, barely fixed to walls and in some cases completely broken. Used to be the go to place in Moura but now it's over priced and in need of a full makeover. Banana motel is my new preference.

Recommend it. - It is in a great location, the staff are very friendly and helpful, room is spacious and clean. It was so good to arrive and have the aircon already on when we walked into the room with it being a hot day outside. It would be good to have more pillows available in room.
