We are two single ladies in our 70's and had to leave our suitcases in the car and take only essentials down. Great property for the young, thoroughly recommend.

Toilet access was through bathroom, limiting number of people in family able to do things in parallel... Instructions for use of shower didn't mention that the Econo mode should be selected instead of Hot mode. The Hot mode was unusable due to being highly sensitive - either far too hot or cold. Econo mode worked OK.

I expected to have cooking equipment, maybe I didn't read the small print when booking the motel.

- Amelia (8/5): A lovely place to stay with just a few downsides - The host was very friendly and welcoming to us! The location is great - our room was back from the road so we didn't hear the traffic. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. It had a small fridge, microwave, jug etc that we needed. It was a hot day but the room cooled down quickly - I noticed there were heater for when it's cold too. Overall we really liked this place, thank you for having us Just a couple of thing - 1) The shower didn't work. It put out water that was either scalding hot or very cold, despite following the instructions that were given. I could only splash myself, not have a shower, and the kids had to skip one. For 1 night it was ok to skip a shower but I would have been disappointed to have to skip bathing for 2 or more days. 2) The walls are quite thin - I could hear every time the couple next to us spoke. Thankfully they were pretty quiet (as were we) but I could see that it would have been hard to sleep if they had been noisier.

Fair price Close to the main road and single glazed so the noise of the traffic in the front unit was loud all night long. Electric shower in the unit was hard to get to the right temperature so gave up and the toilet didn’t flush effectively so you had to flush 3 times to get it clean

- Stokes (8/5): An older motel on a busy road but a pleasant stay. Staff good. - We stayed here twice, once as we headed south then again as we headed north. The property is sloping, as are most in the area, but it is not as steep as others. Parking is at the end of the property. The property is on the main highway and the first time we found it quiet but the second time we experienced some traffic noise. The property is near a shopping centre within walking distance but returning with shopping from the supermarket is up the hill so you wish you had driven!
