- Jodi (10/5): -
- ILANA (9/5): Perfect for group of families - Perfect location close to center, close to beach yet quiet side street. We were a group of families and it was perfect for us each to have their unit and BBQ together in the center area:) Nothing
- Anne (10/5): Beautiful well kept cottages! - Great spot, beautifully clean and well laid out cottages!
Full of personal touches, down to the complimentary Kit Kat and Oreos! Anne, the host, kept in contact, checking in with us to make sure we had no issues. A joy to deal with! Not a thing !
- Olivier (7/5): Bien placé mais rustique - L’emplacement. Logement spacieux bien équipé. Deco et équipement vieillots . Mauvaise odeur quand nous sommes arrivés.
- Maryanne (7/5): -
- Beckett (7/5): -
- Adrian (8/5): Nice cottages in the heart of Cowes. Well maintained for their age but the smell of smoke and lack of some amenities lik - Great location. Well maintained for older cottage’s Rooms smelled of smoke. Lacking in basic kitchenware like wine glasses.
- Sopheap (10/5): -
- Ruth (10/5): Convenient location, clean and good value - Central location to the beach and the main street.
Comfortable and clean, great value for money.

- Christine (9/5): The staff were great easy to contact and very helpful - Such a lovely
Cottage . Very comfortable and great location
- Yen Lin (8/5): Restful and enjoyable stay - Few minutes walk to the beach and shops, very convenient location. Wifi connection can be improved as signal was rather weak.
- Samantha (10/5): -
- Sally (7/5): -
- David (9/5): Very comfortable and restful. Definately returning and highly recommended. - Plenty of room and not cluttered. Couldn’t find salt or pepper!
- MitziTravelsAgain (6/5): -
- Danielle (10/5): -
- Lindsay (7/5): Not worth the cost of accommodation - No washing machine, dishwasher or dryer in the cottage. No salt or pepper shaker. The cost of the accommodation was far too much. $1325 was too much. I won't pay that much ever again
- Shah Jethwa (3/5): -
- Brett (9/5): Excellent stay. - Quiet, well run, clean, close to amenities. Driveway access a little steep for my car.
- Kate (7/5): Ann was lovely. Place okay. - Great location short walk to the beach and shops Basically just cabins opposite each other on a u shaped driveway. Back area small too
- Nicola (10/5): Had a nice stay over MotoGP weekend. - Clean, good location. Would stay again. Nothing
- Annetta (7/5): Good location, convenient and comfortable. - Comfortable and clean. Kitchen made the stay easy and convenient. Good location. The air conditioning was poor. Difficult to heat up bedrooms and situated in kitchen which made it warmer than the rest of the cottage.
- Mary (10/5): Cozy cottage with everything needed to relax and do nothing, or go out and do everything nearby. - Location was idle, close to everything we wanted to do. Size of cottage was perfect and cozy with everything we needed. It was cold on arrival but the heating was wonderful and the cottage was really relaxing. The bathroom/shower provided excellent shampoo/conditioner/body wash - separate bottles and NOT one bottle that is supposed to do everything like so many other places do nowadays. Sadly we could not stay longer but hope to return when the opportunity allows.
- Hannah (10/5): -
- Joshua (2/5): Nice location, didnt enjoy my stay - Good location. Within walking distance to shops and main street. Attended unit 5, and upon arrival with a 7 and 3 yr old, found the room had not been cleaned. Food scraps across the floor and benches. Beds not changed with fresh sheets. Bins full and ladies dirty sanitary products in toilet bin.
I attempted to contact the person through booking.com multiple times, no answer. Message sent. No reply. At the accommodation, there is a sign at the front saying "For reception please call..." I tried calling that number about 10 times and it just rang out. Nowhere could I leave a message or any voice mail service set up.
Luckily a tradie turned up to fix one of the air conditioners in a different unit. I spoke to him and got a direct mobile number for someone who looks after the units.
I spoke to this person who said he would make a phone call, and to just wait. He was apologetic, and I waited as asked.
After waiting for approx 40mins, a lady turned up and said she would put us in unit 1.
I moved everything to unit 1, happy days.
I took the kids for a walk and we went out for dinner, when at about 7pm I recieved a phone call. I was told that unit 1 was booked the following day (i had booked for 2 nights) and that I would have to move everything back over to unit 5, as it was now clean.
So after dinner, at about 9pm after a long day with a 7 and 3 year old, in the dark I had to move everything from unit 1, back to unit 5.
Very frustrating and unit 5 now felt like I was sitting in someone elses dirty room, as it still was not 100% clean.
There was food splatter up the blinds behind the kitchen sink, and the cutlery drawer had dirty crusty bits of food, and the cutlery was putrid.
A heap of cutlery had dirty crusty food on it and had obviously not been washed at all.
Later that night, my 3 yr old who loves milk, grabbed one of the little milks from the fridge to drink (the little one to put in your coffee).
I open it and my son sips it in to his mouth and spat it out on the floor.
It was all lumpy and off.
- Lien Huong (7/5): -
- Melissa (8/5): Spur of the moment - The cottage was immaculate. Close to the beach
- Yusof (10/5): -
- Anthony (7/5): Stayed here before and happy to come back again. - Location Wi-fi kept dropping out.
- Kim (9/5): Very comfortable and quiet get away.close to the beach and shops - It’s very cosy. Everything was clean. Very comfortable stay. Noisy fridge. Other than that everything was perfect. Even visited by a little echidna.
- Frank (9/5): Great place to stay in Cowes - Clean, roomy and walking distance to the main part of Cowes. Off the main street so very quiet. Second time we have stayed at this property. Heating could be more effective.
- Tony (7/5): It was a restful getaway - Location Morning sunshine in the bedroom, couldn’t sleep in
Blunt knives, difficult to cut with
No oven, which wasn’t pointed out
Unavailability of WiFi, disappointing to learn about this only 2 days before arrival and after taking our payment; especially as there is a note in the room stating that it would be rectified after Christmas. Well it’s almost 6 months since Christmas! Or did it mean Christmas 2025? Again, could have let us know earlier and we could have decided whether to look at other options instead. We should get a discount!!!
- Darren (7/5): Good -
- Muralikb (7/5): Good -
- Ali (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (9/5): Short walk to beach and Cowes Main Street shops - Location, cleanliness, convenience Nothing
- Brett (10/5): - Property is in the perfect place location for shops walks ro the beach etc very relaxing nice and tidy and great communication
- Karen (7/5): Quiet and convenient - Within easy walking distance to the beach and another few minutes' walk away from the town centre. Shower had great water pressure. Spacious bedroom for our family of 3. Great value for money, having a well-equipped kitchen in the one-bedroom unit to cook meals. Equipped with dining table and chairs. Even had a private back courtyard area with clothesline and table and chairs. A little maintenance would be good, the bedroom door was difficult to close fully (the door was sagging). The internet connection was being looked into and hardly worked during our visit, hopefully this issue will be resolved for future guests.
- Paige (8/5): Very good - it was very quick and easy quiet and so clean and the location was perfect so central to everything just a quick walk the beds were abit hard but other then that nothing it was so convenient
- Antonia (9/5): Great locat - Great location, clean and comfortable
- Barry (8/5): We found the cottage to be great and look forward to staying there again next year. - I liked the overall layout of the cottage, the location was great as it was within walking distance of most things and it was in a quiet area. The toilet had faeces on the back of it which we had to clean off before we could use it and the big bed was too soft in the middle and there was no washing machine.
- Gloomy (5/5): Passable - location the photos make it look a lot nicer than it is,
very basic, needs a good updating
- Bobcat (8/5): Very good - Excellent location when attending motorsport events
- Kylie (9/5): Great facilities and location - Very clean, comfortable. Great location
- James (9/5): Superb - Large rooms with all the amenities and kitchen needs. Comfy beds.
- J (8/5): Pleasant place to stay for our Penguin Parade stopover. - Easy to find and gain entry.

- Nigel (8/5): Very good -
- Stephanie (8/5): This little getaway was our first family holiday and it was so good. The cottege was the perfect, walking distance to th - It was walking distance to everything.
- Billy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (8/5): Lovely place for a relaxing holiday. - Very pleasant cabin. Great bed and comfortable lounge and chairs. Easy to operate large screen TV. Easy walk to lovely beach and to the township. Very attentive host.
- Low (8/5): Very good -
- Siobhan (9/5): Superb - Anne, the owner, was wonderful and even offered us a lift in the rain. International Roast coffee
- Angela (10/5): Great place to stay on phillip island - It was nice and cosy
Easy to get to and near supermarket Aircon was only in shared area, so bedrooms were abut stuffy
Would be nice to have a fan or something in the rooms
- Nic (9/5): Superb - Owner was very nice. Place was clean and decently comfortable. Good proximity to penguin parade and Cole's. The pathway to our unit was dark so coming back from penguin at night, the pathway was not lit. Would be nice to install a light.
- Edward (10/5): Would stay here again -
- Surindar (10/5): Exceptional - Peacefully Nothing
- Harold (6/5): We enjoyed our stay and it was easy to get to places - The cottage could have been cleaner but good location and no hairdryer which is essential when travelling We were around in a little corner and no one to greet us she did leave us a message how to get in and she was a nice lady when we met her and was at the end of a phone if we needed her but a very good location
- Rolf (10/5): - Friendly service, loved the BBQ and outdoor seating
- Hiromi (3/5): Loved penguin parade - Good size of rooms, comfortable beds, good location We were given the wrong number to the lockbox and couldn’t get the key. The manager was unavailable and there was No after hours contact numbers. The manager Took an hour to access the room after we arrived at the cottage. When the manager arrived to let us in she did not acknowledge us or introduce herself, and blamed her staff for the issue. As a manager this is ultimately her responsibility. It’s unprofessional to blame your staff. There was a sign saying we Need to wash the dishes, otherwise there would be a $50 fee; we never agreed to this on booking and this is an appalling demand given we had already paid a substantial amount to stay there.
- Kim (9/5): Amazing, comfortable, spacious, clean, private, and a gorgeous little cottage. - It was tucked away. Very private. Very clean and spacious even though it was a 1 bedroom. That you had to walk through the bathroom to the separate toilet. If someone was showering, you can’t walk through to the toilet. Also so oven, so had to cook our pizzas in the microwave. :)
- Dianne (7/5): Good -
- Frank (9/5): A vintage gem. - The property was very clean, well appointed, roomy and walking distance to the main centre of Cowes. Plenty of parking and being away from the main street was quiet. And no stairs is a bonus these days😊
- Linda (10/5): A great break away. - Comfortable home away from home. Close to all amenities.
- Nadw (9/5): Superb - location is perfect, close to the cowes beach. rooms are spacious and clean. none
- Huiyi (7/5): Not too bad. - The whole cottage is clean, space is good. Location is good, abt 15 mins drive to penguin parade, less than 5 mins to super mart and restaurants etc. The property is a bit old, and the only heater in the kitchen wasn’t able to warm up the whole unit. Bed with heating pad but it can be too warm when it’s on for long time. So have to keep adjusting it. And that area was too quiet if the whole cottage area has no one around. We were so ‘lucky’ that we were the only ones who were staying at that point of time. Can be a little eerie at night when the strong wind sound.
