- Grumpy dad (8/5): - So close to centre of town, walk to everything. Communal kitchen. The lady in charge went out of her way. The place is in the middle of renovations. The pool area is extremely run down and not at all inviting. The BBQ was filthy and is on it's last legs. I had to use plumbers gas tape on the hose connection to stop it leaking. Overall, the Building hasn't had ANY maintenance done in a very long time. I hope the new Owners are prepared to spend time and money.

- Peter (3/5): Stay was ok, but stuff up with accommodation & inability to easily communicate with booking.com led - Charged $348 for 1 room for 2 nights. Despite sending emails & phoning the motel to change dates of our stay, no action was taken. Ability to communicate with booking.com is practically impossible & the only response comes via a computer. In other words AI which cannot sort out your problem. Being able to talk to a consultant would be great. The promise of action within 48 hrs was not adhered to & I am still awaiting a response to an email sent in late April, and it is now the 5th May. My wife & I are travelling for the next 4 & half weeks, and due to this experience cannot see us using booking.com again.

- Teresa (10/5): Like staying at an old country hotel but better. - The location is a excellent. Ten minute walk to club, grocery and liquor opposite and 2 minute walk to bus depot and tourist information. It was clean and had an âeasy goingâ feel. The common area was clean and rules respected.

Would be good if it had a vending machine, we arrived on Motorbikes and couldn't go food shopping, so had nothing to eat, main Street was pretty much closed by the time we arrived and no idea where to get food from. Had to order Uber eats would have been happy if there was a vending machine to just grab something as simple as 2 minutes noodles etc.

- Brydie (9/5): Amazing service, good facilities, great double room, excellent value for money. - Very clean, room, great pillows. Excellent communication with staff, they explained perfectly the process for late check in. The parking was not suitable for a trailer which caused much distress as I parked across 3 car parks in front of Broken Hill Tile Shop. I chose this park because it had the only street light and I wanted to deter thrives from steeling the unsecured items on my roof racks. Unfortunately I did not get to my car early enough in the morning and the woman from the tile shop had intentionally parked me in, when I asked if she could let me get out she was very abusive towards me. I was upset because I had not intended to sleep in until 830am, I had planned to move my car earlier (blame the comfortable room đ).

- Grant (10/5): I travel from Darwin often & this was the best value & nicest room I have had . - It was clean comfortable the room was fantastic they are doing it renovating rooms in the facility at the moment and it was it right in the middle of town short walk to a really good bistro to have a meal

I left and a lady came to the door and I told her I was concerned that the place did not look wheelchair friendly. She was very rude and said "it isn't and because you booked online there is nothing I can do". I ended up leaving and staying somewhere else. I returned the next day to access the room but the code I was given was incorrect and I couldn't get into the hotel. So I never ended up staying there at all and I never got my money back.
