• Ben (10/5): Fun good spot i like it - I loved the position of the room there on the corner... i really enjoyed talking to the staff even if jts just small talk after 3.5 hours in car... Bar was good, i like the golf course motel vibe, its really a great pkace and i wiuld love to be welcomed back in future i really liked it. It was perfect but i picked a really really hot day and sort of camped in the carpark next to a shed with the aircon running, i understand people need to clean the room and i understand they want customers to hang out in the bar till 2pm but on hot days only staying for one night, its really really a beutiful thibg if they let you in around midday which most places allow, its not a big deal just on really hot days its like i am driving from melbourne for one night, pkease just let me in earlier, like its not a big deal but ive gone to a new motel on the murray every month for a year, and this is the first time ive ever been told midday was not ok and to check in after 2, its fine, just thisbis the first time anyone has axtually said no u mudt wait till after 2, ive never encountered a motel where the room wasnt readdy by midday before but anyway i like the place its very cool and i just went on a really really hot day :) excellent place. The ac and the tv are great and the locarion is perfect. I get that 2pm is the normal check in time, thats totally cool just midweek ive never ever so far ever turned up at midday and been told its strictly not ready, , anyway all good i respext the cleaning schedule just yeah on a wednesday most places arent this busy, it must be a successful and popular club... the bar was good i jist didnt want to spend 7 dollars 50 for a small beer when i had some 2 dollar beers in my esky waiting to go in the motel room fridge lol , im appreciatw the place a lot, just saying pkease on a boiling hot day pkease let people in earlier maybe, like if i called two places and one said midday is ok and the other said no its gonna be 2 +.... i would just go to the midday place. Just my opinion thankyou, i respect their rules.

• Mark (8/5): Suffice for what was required. - The closeness and handiness of the Golf club next door, short stroll for dinner which was fine. The motel is very old style but suffice for one who only requires a roof over one's head for sleep overnight.

Some renovations being done which are needed The rooms are a little tired, grass growing from 1 end of the accomodation gutters (especially with extreme weather) No shaded parking close to accomodation

• bergendergez (7/5): Real country style hospitality - The motel is in a beautiful location, next to the Murray river, from my windows I could actually see the river. There is also the golf course (that I did not use) and a very good restaurant. The room was spacious, plenty of wardrobe space to unpack, a kitchenette with proper sink and a microwave. Checking in was very fast and smooth, checkout is just a key drop. Easy. The walls are a bit thin, when I got up in the morning and made a phone call the neighbours started banging presumably because I disturbed them even though I was talking on rather ordinary tone, not loud. The mattress was very warm and airless, it got hot and damp in five minutes between the sheets and so I could only sleep on top of the sheets. The room was made up every day but the sheets were not changed for a week, glasses were sometimes washed sometimes not, and once I returned I found that my room door was left ajar by cleaning staff.

The location is very good—quiet and peaceful—shops are there within a 10-minute drive away. The golf club offers many on-site activities, available at an additional charge if you want. There is a picnic area and a restaurant as well.

• Peter (4/5): - Upon checking in we were advised that the Wi- Fi may not work as they have poor reception, even though the website states WiFi available. Sure enough it was non existent ! After asking if we can cancel the booking the attitude went from warm and caring to cold and abrupt ! Really poor attitude to say the least ! Do not stay at this motel !
• Mal (2/5): - The room smelled musty, with mold stains on the bathroom walls and ceiling. Mold in the shower. Wifi was virtually useless, spending 95% of the time not working, while the other 5% spent teasing us that it might at some stage start to work. The TV was the smallest TV I've seen in many, many years. The bed sagged in the middle to some degree. Just to top it off, a bunch of tradie "golf pro's" insisted on gathering in the corridor at 7am for around 25 minutes, each competitively boasting about how wonderful each one was. Who would have thought they'd have anything left to boast about after their previous night of male bonding? Perhaps they were arguing who's dual cab had the most authentic looking spray on mud! I won't be back.

It's quiet, a lovely outlook and even good for non-golfers. The staff were fantastic and really looked after us. Would highly recommend
