Robert (8/5): Nice location but needs improvement - The service was friendly and helpful. Loved how the rooms overlook the rainforest and you can hear so many birds singing in the morning. The room was clean but it reeked of the cheap and nasty pink lotion soap (the stuff used in most public toilets). There was also a window on the opposite side of the room entrance with a light that seemed to be permanently on (the light is outside and there didn't appear to be a way to turn it off). The curtain in front of the light window was insufficient, resulting in the room being fairly well lit at night. Making it difficult to sleep. These minor issues made the stay uncomfortable.

Within walking distance to all the shops and cafes—no need to drive anywhere. The property was quite outdated and could really benefit from a fresh look. It was tidy and clean, but the interior of the rooms was very old. The grounds near the pool and tennis court could be trimmed back a little.

ayda (9/5): Valuable and family friendly - We are a couple with two children( one is a baby), I can say this hotel was completely comfortable for us and is one of the best places for stay in the vicinty: very good location and close to nice cafes, even very suitable for an evening walk. staff are so friendly and cool. Room was comfortable and really values for the money we paid.

Janet (9/5): Comfortable, roomy and very convenient to everything.. - Built in the 80's, the Mountain Inn is comfy, clean and you can walk to everything.. The front units face the road so there is some road noise, there are units at the back that are quieter.. We were quite happy with our second floor rooms at the front.. We booked a family room that slept 4 and we had plenty of room. There is an excellent Bar and Grill just next door and many more places to eat within a minutes walk.. Melissa on the front desk is just lovely to talk to, really helpful, had lots of local knowledge and made our stay a very comfortable one.. Oh and plenty of off street parking too.. Nothing really.... If you are looking for modern 5 star accommodation this isn't it - however if you want comfortable, clean, roomy accommodation right in the heart of Montville for a very reasonable price... this is definitely the place to stay...

VincentB14 (7/5): Great option for a weekend in Montville - Very well located, dated but tidy and comfortable amenities, priced very decently in comparison with similar in the area, perfect for the weekend. The photos make it seem a lot older than it is, it's definitely older but it's well kept and has few modern touches, the main dated area is the bathroom. Only small things but the water pressure was very poor in the shower and water temps were all over the place. The car spaces are described as marked but said markings are non-existent or faded beyond recognition, just makes it a bit difficult at night.

We were pleasantly surprised at how good it was and would not hesitate to stay again. Rooms were spacious and offered a range of configurations for the 3 rooms we booked for our family. Kara (8/5): Peaceful hotel surrounded by beautiful scenery. - Wonderful location nestled amongst the most beautiful scenery. The pool was lovely & refreshing. We had a room down the back with a beautiful view of the landscape. The room was a good size & had everything we needed. Right in the heart of Montville. Our back window opened into a garage, therefore there wasn't any natural light in the bathroom & kitchen area. Next time we would probably opt for a balcony room!
