The room was clean and I had off road parking for my car. There was nothing that I really didn't like. I could hear some of the traffic go by at night but nothing that would keep you awake or disturb you as you slept.

- PETER (7/5): A basic room for a low price, with some annoyances. - Basic room for a low price (for Geelong). Easy check-in and secure parking. Rooms are upstairs, I avoided the strange lift, room a bit smelly, exhaust fan a bit noisy, opening the window not secure, styling a bit depressing.

The staff were excellent, the young man who was the cleaner was very good and helpful. The aircon was fantastic, worked very well. I booked this motel as I thought it was near the beach however it is on a main road, with not much around it as far as food and entertainment goes, however there is a fantastic burger place and a kebab van not too far to get a fast food meal from. The motel is next door to the train station, not great but the noise was ok considering. The room was ok but there was no where comfortable to sit.

The fixtures and fittings need updated in the room, it looked tired! The TV didnt work which was ok for us but might be an issue for others.

- Steph (8/5): A great place to stop for a night or two!! Central and comfortable. - Despite arriving slightly early the host/s were very accommodating and adjusted the rooms that were ready. Staff were very chatty and polite. The rooms were spotless and well-appointed for what we needed. Bonus was the cycling shop next door and down the road The Charles Hotham Hotel served old school pub meals as well as a comprehensive GF menu. A great start to the Geelong to Melbourne ATB bike ride. The weather!!

- Steve (9/5): Pleasant place to stay. Will definitely stay again. - Was greeted by friendly staff member when I drove in driveway, she was washing car with her grandson on holidays. He was having a great old time! Very friendly and also very helpful. Location was good, close to everything and easy to get to. If your a light sleeper it is next to a main road with minimal noise, didn’t affect me at all. Good off street parking which accommodated my high vehicle. All was good

- Steve (7/5): Enjoyable and good value - Very clean and very quiet The white furniture spoilt the standard of the room the seats were uncomfortable after a period of sitting on them. The bedside units usually are taller and have a top drawer. Shower was good but a bit slippery after your shower.

The trains rattled past all night and we could also hear the fork lift beeping most of the night. The bed was quite good but the pillows were very flat. We both slept with two pillows but struggled to get comfortable.

We were woken up by a loud ute idling for some time before it left. had issues with the TV not working and needed the staff from reception to get it connected to Foxtel. Even then some of the features such as the movie channels still would not work.
