- Tamzin (10/5): Peaceful. What a beautiful cottage to spend your holiday. I will definitely rebook if I’m in the area. - The location was so easy. Off the motorway and at the property before getting into the town centre. The parking was easy and undercover. N/A
- Camie (10/5): Parfait - Magnifique maison d’hôte à Eumundi.
Accueil attentionné.
Petit déjeuner copieux. Rien
- Debby (9/5): Fabulous, however not accessible to those with limited mobility - Almost everything was utterly wonderful.
9.8 out of 10, except for accessability issues. Would 100% recommend for couples without mobility difficulties. Brilliantly & thoughtfully set up. Just a mention that the unit is not accessible. There are steps to the front door, & the shower is over the bathtub, without grab-bars. People with limited mobility, wheelchair users, or prosthetic leg/s will find this difficult. Mentioned this feedback to the lovely owners & they said they would look at making it accessible.
- David (10/5): A gem of a B&B. - The afternoon tea and friendly hosts.
- Mary (10/5): Just what we wanted - Great all good
- Cindy (10/5): Country peace - Quiet peaceful surrounds. Getting in late & leaving early. Would've been nice to enjoy for longer.
- trudy (8/5): Absolutely wonderful. - The wonderful and peaceful location. Secluded and relaxing in a wonderful town. Very good quality interior decor and nice touches on arrival and all the amenities I needed. I loved all of it but could have done with a full length mirror.
- Robert (10/5): Awesome we would love to stay again - Excellent location with an easy walk in to town centre. Hosts were amazing and the room and facilities were exceptional. Would highly recommend
- Smith (9/5): Lovely and Super Convenient Spot! - The location, super close to the main town (8 minute walk) and the view outside, when not raining, is really nice. Not to mention the breeze that can come through the deck since it's so open! Can't really think of anything, to be honest! Haha
- Shauna (9/5): Relaxing and therapeutic - The breakfasts were delicious and well catered. Delivered on time and as ordered.
From the initial greeting to the checkout the host were very accomodating and willing to provide advice and assistance.
Very well run homestead accommodation N/A

- Mick Skilbeck (10/5): Classic Queenslander charm in an amazing location. - The Gridley homestead, a gorgeous classic old Queenslander, is situated a short walk to Eumundi Village. It is a perfect location for those wanting to visit the popular markets that take place on Wednesday and Saturday. The rooms are quiet and private and the decor beautiful. There is a lovely common area where breakfast is served. This area also has comfy couches and a fire place for the winter months. Our lovely host, Louise, was friendly and helpful. Parking is within the grounds and free. We were even spoilt with a delicious coconut slice baked by Louise's husband Marco. I will definitely be returning when next in the area! Our stay was perfect.
- Leonie (10/5): We loved the calm & serenity about 'THE CABIN'. - We didn't have brekky, however we loved the afternoon tea on arrival. The slice was very tasty and well presented. Also loved the fact it was Coeliac friendly. Perhaps think about a grab rail in the bath / shower. I'm definitely a lot more safety conscious these days.
- Jennifer (9/5): Awesome stay great value. - Awesome hosts. Close to everything in Eumundi. Lovely setting, clean comfy quite rooms, great verandah. Rooms are very private. WOULD absolutely stay again. if I am nit picking the bed in our room was a little on the firm side, but is the only thing I could criticise.
- Focus77 (9/5): Awesome thanks - Thanks for letting use the extra fridge space Cars could have had undercover parking
- Heather (10/5): Beautiful place to stay with a wraparound deck - Marko and Louise were very hospitable and excellent communicators. Their property emanated a classic homestead vibe and the polenta cake they cooked for breakfast was one of the best ive ever tried. Bacon cooked perfectly, sour dough bread, grilled tomatoes and mushroom, mmmm. Lets just say id stay again in a heartbeat.
- Claudia (9/5): Beautiful B&B with a warm welcome - Beautiful home with real character
- Kerrie (8/5): -
- Hilliam (10/5): Very nice and welcoming. - Louise and Marko were very nice to talk with and have a conversation.
Location was great for what we were looking to do in the area. Maybe a slightly larger selection on the breakfast menu would have been helpful.
The food was good that we had for first breakfast just a little more range.
- Kirsty (10/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Good, quiet location not far from Eumundi town centre, lovely hosts, very good breakfasts(hot or continental)
- Helen C (10/5): - From the moment we arrived, Louise made us feel special. We had tea and cakes on the veranda looking out to rural scenes. The breakfast was excellent. I loved looking through their huge library and found an interesting book to read during my three-day stay. The Homestead was a very short walk to the famous Eumundi markets. I heartily recommend this B&B.

- Melissa (10/5): - We both enjoy our stay at Gridleys Homestead. Lovely well maintained Bnb, They were welcoming and warm even being so kind as to give as afternoon tea. Homemade Lemon tart was delicious. Thankyou.
- Pamela (10/5): Was a great little get away, starting the moment we arrived with a complimentary afternoon treat. - Excellent property, well maintained with still an old feel. Lovely area to sit out and enjoy the view. Had your own entry door direct into your room. Massive comfortable bed. I enjoyed it all.

- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - This is the second time we have stayed at Gridley Homestead and we couldn't ask for a better stay, Marco and Louise are the best hosts, always so friendly and accommodating, a lovely homemade cake and a cuppa on arrival and a wonderful breakfast should we decide to order one, lovely clean accommodation and an easy walk to the market's on Saturday. We'll definitely be back next year and recommend Gridley to everyone for a lovely place to stay 😊
- Barbara (9/5): An enjoyable stay with great views. and lovely places to sit out on the veradah and enjoy the view - We loved the friendly hosts.
We also like staying here as it is close to the Market and being able to walk into town for dinner. The hot water takes a while to come through to the shower

- Lisa (10/5): Sensational getaway - Louise and Marco are the best hosts. They are friendly, attentive but at the same time you have your own space to enjoy the peace and tranquility sitting on the veranda. The welcome chocolate cake and coffee was lovely and the lemon tart was amazing. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was delicious. The property has an all round great atmosphere about it and anyone booking it won’t be disappointed. There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like with our stay .

- Narelle (9/5): If you love old Queenslanders then this is the place to stay. - Our room was very clean and presented in a lovely manner. Our room opened out onto a veranda which had plenty of seating for relaxing after a day of sight seeing. A lovely breakfast was provided at an additional cost and it was a good time to meet and enjoy the company of the other guests and our hosts Marko and Louise. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and we would certainly recommend to anyone wanting to stay around Eumundi.
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely room lovely couple nothing too much trouble. Great breakfast full English. Great view
- Maureen (10/5): Upon arrival, you see this gorgeous old Qld homestead, entering, your transported to another time. - The friendly hosts, cleanliness, amenities were cut above the average. Only 9 minutes walk to town, and you were in the middle of the Eumundi markets. Afternoon tea on the long verandah, lemon pie and coffee/tea, while your thoughts take you to another place. Excellent for a weekend/mid week break. The breakfasts was amazing, salmon, bacon, mushy etc, I could rave on, but please go there, if you never ever go, you will never ever know. Nothing, everything from breakfast, room comforts, to wonderful hosts. Loved it
- Karen (10/5): A feeling of home - We had a lovely relaxing stay , the home stead is very welcoming you get a feeling of going home. On our arrival we were offered afternoon tea with a lovely home made lemon tart I could of gone for seconds. Our room was very clean , everything thing we needed was right at hand. Louise was a wealth of information. Breakfast was freshly cooked A1 presentation served in the dining room. I can't say there was anything i didn't like apart from wishing we could of stayed longer.
- Christian (10/5): Real great staying there - Louise and Marco have a lovely house in a quiet area. They were super nice and helpful :)
The rooms were super tidy und clean Nothing
- Nigel (10/5): The best b and b ever. - The cabin was elegantly simple with one very substantial living space zoned into bedroom sitting room and kitchen with a lovely separate bathroom .The decor was fresh and stylish and every last detail thought about , in fact it looked styled by an interior designer . Absolutely nothing , it was ideal .
- Georgie (10/5): A peaceful retreat. - So homely and comfortable. The views out to the hills made it feel like we were out in the country yet we were a short 5-10 minute walk from the main part of town and the fabulous eumundi markets!! Nothing not to like but would have been handy to have a table and chairs in the room rather than an arm chair. To use as a place to put our things or use to eat at.

Our hosts were welcoming & helpful providing local knowledge.
We took the delicious breakfast option which was a great start to the day.
The town is interesting & a short walk away. There's a variety of restaurants & shops & the market (Wed & Sat) was amazing!
Highly recommended, we hope to return.
- Barry (10/5): The hosts were very welcoming. It felt like it was such a delightful place to rest and enjoy! - the breakfast choices were more than enough. If you wanted a light breakfast with fruit, yoghurt etc or something a little lighter like poached egg with salmon on polenta toast with wilted spinach and mushrooms or a full eggs and bacon on sourdough toast with either tea or delicious coffee. It was all delicious. On our arrival we were given a choice of which room e.g. with a view or another aspect. We liked the warmth, peacefulness and locality. We could walk to the various restaurants or hotels and visit the markets and specialty
shops.
- Suzanne (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, comfortable and clean. Lovely hosts.
- Kim (10/5): Relaxing stay in a welcoming property with lots of personal touches that cater for our needs. Simply lovely. - Louise and Mario run a lovely homestead. We were greeted with homemade cake and tea served in the verandah. Location was excellent. Something truly magical about sitting on the back verandah watching the sun setting with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. The property is quaint, homely and inviting. Not much to say here
- Chris (10/5): - This place is very special. Louise and Marko are wonderful hosts. I am always reluctant to post about this slice of peace and tranquility in this noisy, angry and divided world. I want this place to be MY little secret. Its perfect. The place I return to three times now and throughout all the years, some 17 years, each new hosts have always maintained its magic. Go on, treat yourself. Book and you have my promise you will love it.
- Tessa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leonie (9/5): A relaxing stay with stunning views! - Lovely owners and a beautiful setting. The homestead is an easy walk into Eumundi.
- David (10/5): Wedding - Location, accommodation was clean and tidy. Service excellent. Breakfast very good ,plenty to eat.
The cake by Marko was delicious. Only thing we thought wasn't really safe was the high bath tub. Found it difficult to get in and out. No grab rail. Frightened of slipping due to health reasons. But this may not be a problem for most people.
- Holly (10/5): Happy with my stay - Friendly owner, nice location, nice cabin N/A
- Matthew (8/5): Very good - Large yummie breakfast. Great view
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Malcolm (9/5): Great place - Nice relaxing place with great hosts. The cooked breakfast was a great start to the day. The tiny old tv and the noisy fridge, both only trivial items that probably wouldn't annoy others.
- Bindi (9/5): Lovely - Excellent location. Clean and well presented. Wonderful welcoming host.
Quiet, everything I needed for a restful few days Unfortunately I prefer a less firm mattress but this is a personal choice. Apart from this everything else was great
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional - Such a lovely clean place to stay, host's Louise and Marko were lovely and friendly, beautiful afternoon tea was our greeting and breakfasts were beautifully cooked and presented 😊😊 There is nothing but great things to say about this stay ... very enjoyable

Louise and Marko are wonderful friendly hosts, and we enjoyed delicious homemade banana bread by Marco for morning tea. Nothing
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (9/5): A lovely place in a great location. - My husband had breakfast, he said it was really good. The place was in a good location to the shops and market. Lovely view from the property and a great outdoor seating area on the balcony.
We were very welcomed. The room was very clean and the bed was great. There was a noise that came during the night, not sure if it was some sort of plumbing? I am a very light sleeper but my husband who isn't also woke with it. Also the outside traffic got quite noisy, but like I said I am a very light sleeper and where we live there isn't traffic noise . It would be better with a little bigger fridge to accommodate if people wanted to bring items for a picnic etc, especially for people who have food intolerances like myself and find it difficult buying lunch out.
- Darryl (10/5): - Very much enjoyed our time there
- Neil (9/5): Superb -
