• Joshua (10/5): A wonderful stay on the hill - Our wonderful stay was made even more pleasant by the staff. The lady managing the hotel (I didn't get her name) was so kind, ready to assist and very friendly. It's refreshing to be greeted with such warmth. We accidentally locked our room key inside and even though she was not on site she quickly provided a solution without making it seem a hassle. Thank you for making our stay stress free. We will be back 100% My only suggestion would be to consider storing the in room dishwashing detergent in something other than a colourful child's drink bottle as small children may inadvertently drink from it. Aside from that, nothing else to note. A great place overall.

• Bianca (10/5): Practical and comfortable. A must place to stay for beach getaway or road trip rest stop. - Rooms spacious, comfortable and provided all essentials. Location brilliant! It would have been helpful to have some salt, pepper and cooking oil in the kitchenette.

Excel - Location, Room size, excellent staff, quiet, cost effective, facilities, beautiful super clean pool. Toilet seat condition & age, worn mattress, a/c struggled with size of room, carpet tired.

• Bel (10/5): The best place to stay in Tannum!!! - The most friendly and helpful staff (Katrina, you’re the best!!!), very clean facilities, ample parking, great pool and bbq area, across the road from cafes and shops. Our family visits Tannum regularly and we always stay here!!

The smoking around the pool and outside areas, we could not leave the windows open to allow fresh air as the smoke was so bad. We had smokers on either side of our unit so we felt a little restricted.

The layout of the rooms with parking, the motel room and an easily accessible grass area for the dogs made it a comfortable night. It is in a good central location, a short walk to the tavern or coffee in the morning from Blend. NA

• Jennifer (9/5): Fabulous - We lived in Tannum Sands which is a beautiful area that we know well & are sad that we are moving on. We needed just a few days to sort out our things and so stayed at the Reef Adventure Motel. We really liked the room setup with bathroom & bed area partitioned off by the cupboard leading to a large room which had the kitchen (large fridge, induction cooktop (one element) kettle, toaster etc) and TV / sitting/ dining area. I liked the large windows & sliding door leading to our outside sitting area looking onto the pool. The bathroom off the bedroom area is large & clean. The pool area has a large bbq / sitting area that you can use. Other people were respectfully keeping noise to a minimum. The manager is really nice & friendly and helpful. Just a suggestion: the bed is getting a bit on the old side & could do with an upgrade to be more comfy, and we would like to have an exhaust fan in the bathroom.
