Guest Reviews
- Georgia (10/5): - Private, comfortable and peaceful We liked everything
- Hillman-Kaye (10/5): Excellent place for our needs - This property had everything we needed for our short stay. It was very close to our event, the tennis court was a great hit and the wood heater was fantastic
- Mich (8/5): -
- Ian and Leanne (10/5): Peaceful - Peaceful relaxed great accomodation wood fire great ammenities close to town Nothing
- Zoe (5/5): reasonably comfy but property needs a good clean - Loved the wildlife and Kookaburas that came to visit us each morning. Inside of property was reasonably clean Outside the cottage was quite dirty, with unwashed dog bowls and filthy bbq left by previous guests, along with cockroaches in the kitchen, we decided it was too unhygenic to cook or eat at the property. The owners also run personal training sessions in the house next door to the cottage so the tranquil vacation it could be!

- David (7/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): Great cool place to stay in Airey's Inlet. - Rammed earth construction meant that the cottages stayed cool in the heat. Internet and TV worked well. Property well fenced and contained for our dog. Tennis court and foosball great too.
- Christine (10/5): -
- Scott (7/5): -
- Daniel (8/5): Great location and very comfortable and convenient for larger groups. - Great location short drive to numerous attractions and beaches. The cluster of three apartments was excellent for larger group gatherings, with plenty of private space for everyone. Facilities could be improved - they were a bit dated. Basic supplies such as toilet paper, soap etc were sparse.
- Gus D'Onofrio (8/5): -
- Brendan (8/5): -
- Alison (8/5): Quiet and relaxing, surrounded by nature. - The cottage is comfortable and well appointed. The location is beautiful and peaceful with lots of surrounding birdlike. We were visited by a pair of King Parrots each day.

- Jessica-Paige (8/5): - Loved the house and location, especially the fire place which was cosy and a real highlight in winter. The spa and sporting equipment was average quality, some weren’t clean or ready to use.
- Emily (10/5): - amazing property - everything matched the photos and had a lovely stay. i would highly recommend this place as the cottage was comfortable, cosy and perfect. also would recommend as you are so close to everything
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely love having the wood heater.. Icing on the cake... and the pooch thinks so too..
- Barbara (10/5): Cosy cottage with a fireplace. Just what you need for this time of year :) - Our cottage was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight was the fireplace - perfect for this time of year!
- Alanna (10/5): Wonderful cottage, easy to walk to the local pub and cafes. Very clean and check in/check out was so simple! Highly - Great space, clean and easy! The only heating is the fireplace but there was not enough wood or kindling provided to start the fire (wood outside was wet).
So we went a little cold on the first night and then purchased wood and kindling from the servo the next day.
- Brett (9/5): Really enjoyed my stay. A little expensive for a single travelller with 2 dogs but all in all I’m ve - Loved the wood burner.
Comfortable beds. Feels slightly exposed as it connects to common areas eg tennis court. Some natural screens( bamboo or something similar you can get at Bunnings) just for a little more privacy
- Andrew (7/5): Good -
- Myriam (9/5): Superb - Beautiful location. Outdoor and very cosy home stay
- Richard (7/5): Good -
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mayur (8/5): Very good - Excellent location, facilities, and house. We had fun, we played tennis rode bikes, check in and out wad easy. Good value for money
- Jessika (9/5): Superb -
- Kate (8/5): Lovely cottage, well furnished, comfy. - Lovely little cottage with wood fire heater. Really well furnished, good kitchen amenities for cooking, and lovely bushy surrounds a 3 min drive from town and beach. Great enclosed fenced area for little dogs.
Good setup all around for young kids. The beds were pretty soft and bouncy. Could use an update to firmer mattresses.
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgie (10/5): Great location, fantastic host and facilities, very comfortable. We had a wonderful time as a family - The location was brilliant. My dog was super happy to spend time with the dog at the other cabin. Honestly, it was all good, maybe more coffee pods, because I'm a coffee addict!
- Roshina (10/5): - The property was excellent and clean. The price was reasonable. Nice and quiet area. Highly recommended
- Cinanni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Victoria (8/5): Very good - Comfortable and well-appointed cottages in a lovely setting. We enjoyed the tennis court and private feel of the place. Great place for a relaxing few days.
- Janise (3/5): We left a day early - Outside very dirty. Not at all inviting
- Sophie (9/5): Superb -
- Yuk (8/5): Very good -
- Joan (9/5): Superb -
- Sonali (10/5): Excellent stay very clean cottage and was perfect with our pet. Will surely book again. - The cottage was very clean and peaceful surrounded by green nature. Our cottage was fenced so was really good for our pet to roam freely. May be the front yard and outdoors could have been better pruned …as more aesthetically.
- David (9/5): It was set in a beautiful peaceful surrounding a great place to get away from it all - Excellent facilities, clean had everything you needed for a comfortable stay
- Brittany (9/5): Superb -
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Craig (8/5): Great, nice location with basic but comfortable amenity - Nice clean, quiet area.
Comfortable living & beds.
Woodfire (it was very cold when we stayed!) Gravel road access, I didn't realise.
Not host's fault obviously.
- Nilima (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hiroko (6/5): Pleasant - It was bit cold at night, so was nice that the owner provided a lot of firewood for us.
The cottage was clean and comfortable. There were enough of cooking tools in the kitchen. The location is good, walking distance to the shops and cafes and beautiful beaches. The door knob of the bathroom was broken, it was hard to open from the living room, still okay to open from inside of the bathroom. The price increased significantly. We stayed at same place in Easter holiday this year, we paid $588 for 3 nights. Then we paid $825 for 3 nights this holiday, so it was nearly $80/night increased within the last 6 months. I feel like less than $200/night is reasonable price but $280/night is too pricey for this cottage. If the price goes up, the equipments should be maintained as well as providing more heaters or blankets for cold nights.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Virginia (8/5): Very good - Great location, very clean, good amenities. Recommend to provide gloves for putting wood on the fire.
- Ruby (9/5): Cosy cottage for winter getaway - Acommodation itself was cosy and well set up. Beds were comfortable. Extra blankets appreciated. Located close to town. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace given the unseasonably cold weather. When we arrived the outdoor lights were not on anywhere on the property (they were on on subsequent nights so ???) and we had trouble locating the actual cottage in the dark (it was down a poorly disintguished path). There was also a big note on the fridge about it being the tenants responsibility to clean including vacuuming etc which was not mentioned on booking.com and presumably applies to longer staying tenants over the summer? I would have expected vacuuming to be included in the price of the stay.
- Jessica (10/5): - Loved the location and the setting. Great little cottage for a quiet getaway.
- Min (9/5): Very peaceful - The fireplace. Also Dog Friendly. Beautiful Surroundings of Great Otway National Park
- Brendan (8/5): Very good -
- Kennedy (8/5): Very good -
- Simo (9/5): Superb -
- Raihan (9/5): Superb - The cottage was cosy & lovely. Good amount of space. Having to do cleaning (sweeping, vacuuming, etc.) when checking out. I don’t believe this was advertised when we made the booking.
- Maria (9/5): Superb -
- Rob (10/5): Cabin setting was very comforable and quiet, lots of wildlife, great Australian experience. - The accommodation was excellent and setting was beautiful. We loved the wood fire and all the bird life and Kangaroos that hopped past our cabin. It made us feel at home and very relaxed. It was nice for the kids being close to the beach and rock pools and the bush walks were amazing. The spa was out of order.
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional - We loved our anniversary get away, we loved turning up and seeing there was a little hot tub. The gentleman that lives there was so nice as well. If we had to be picky the sheets could of been abit softer.
- Jaime (9/5): Superb -
- Whelan (9/5): Great place, will likely stay again in the future! - Lovely place, great wood fire with heaps of wood. Very fast internet over 100mbps. Lots of little handy bits and pieces like paper towel, cooking oil and other things that you may have forgot when shopping. Modern smart tv, comfy couches. Dimmer lights seem to have the incorrect globes, so in some areas the lights were dull, outside like was a bit dull also, made it a bit difficult to use the bbq at night. Few bits and pieces could use repair.
- Rosalind (8/5): Excellent. - Location and layout. Clean and had all amenities. Pets allowed by arrangement and catered for - excellent. Could not open key lock box. But help was on hand quickly. Toilet gurgled after flushing which was a bit unnerving.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (9/5): Superb - Bush location, fireplace, large rooms, washing machines and drier and all cooking equipment. Nothing.
- Chris (9/5): Overall our stay was wonderful. Absolutely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. - Had everything we needed, great wood heater that heated the whole cabin. Very quiet location Cleaning expectations on departure were a bit excessive
- April (8/5): Very good -
- Sophie (7/5): Good -
- Wafa (9/5): Great stay, set in a quiet part of Aireys inlet but close enough to get to shops and sights in a few minutes drive - Kids loved the tennis court and unit was well equipped with everything. Fireplace was an added bonus. We had a great short stay. Bed was a bit too soft
- Indira (8/5): Very good -
- Pica (8/5): We had good weather and company and enjoyed our stay. - The first cottage was difficult to reach due to my disability which I had not disclosed Our thanks to David who as soon as I told about my disability transferred us to a more accessible cabin thank you david very much. Nothing
- Adriana (7/5): Good -
- Bruce (5/5): Great location. Mediocre facilities - Location Broken towel rail and hair dryer not working on arrival. Warm weekend so lack of aircon was definitely a negative.
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glenda (8/5): Quiet cottage with everything you need. - The cottage was well equipped, with everything that we needed in the small kitchen, for example. The setting is green and quiet.
The open plan living room was comfortable and heating was available for the one cool night.
Comfortable beds! The internet reception was slow and dropped out occasionally.
- Sheila (7/5): Expected more. - Cottage itself was attractive enough. Owner was pleasant and responded to issues requests quickly . Good to have access to tennis court etc. although the bikes etc would have looked more inviting had the area they were stored in been closed inA The open storage left everything very grubby and unappealing . Outdoor area and facilities run down and uncared for. Spa looked locked away and no instruction re access or operation. Gate on the dog run at cottage D could not be closed properly. In addition to making the run useless the broken gate swung in the wind, banging annoyingly at night.
- John (7/5): We liked staying there but I don’t think we would stay again , there wasn’t anything around us , eg shops restaurants et - The cabin was very clean , and we had everything we could need , beds were comfortable , nice bathroom and kitchen No AC , no internet .
- Sally (9/5): Superb - Good value for money. Everything was as I expected. The only thing missing is a view - but I expected that too.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely site, quiet, private, good space, good bathroom, good kitchen. Clean and comfortable. Spa
was wonderful No complaints
- Caecilia (10/5): Fabulous cottage in Aireys Inlet - Self contained cottage with all you could want. Modern, high quality furnishings. Well equipped kitchen. Quiet but only 8 min by push bike to centre of town. Great spa!
- Rosemary (8/5): Great experience and would return. - Quiet bush location. Easy walk to beach and shops. Extras include tennis court9 gear provided) and push bikes. I personally found the doonas too heavy for summer and like a little bit of weight when sleeping.
Lighting poor in living room- different globes would make a huge difference.
- Leanne (9/5): Superb -
- Julieanne (8/5): Very good -
- Brett (8/5): RELAXING AND PRIVATE - VERY CLEAN AND WELL SET UP. EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR A BEACH/BUSH RELAXING HOLIDAY, INCLUDING HAVING THE DOG. BECAUSE WE WERE ON A WEEK OF DOWN TIME WE DIDNT MIND NO INTERNET. IT HAD GREAT MOBILE RECEPTION. THE TV RECEPTION ISN'T IDEAL BUT LOCATION IS GREAT FOR A GOOD BOOK. UNFORTUNATELY THE BBQ NEEDED SOME ATTENTION AND COULDN'T BE USED AND PREVIOUS TENANTS HAD BURNT THE ROASTING DISH IN THE KITCHEN
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Janine (7/5): Good -
- Trey (10/5): Quiet & Relaxing - Location & beds were comfortable. Fenced yard for my doggie
- Sandi (8/5): Bliss - Loved the fireplace, spa, and the cottage was just big enough for our family. Loved that our fur kids could come along too Just need a proper working vacuum.
- Grantley (8/5): Very good -
- Brendan (8/5): Very good -
- Felicity (9/5): Loved our stay at Split point cottages - Great location, quiet, clean, wood fire and dog friendly. Able to use the tennis courts and a laundry which was great. We had a great couple of days thank you. Only negative was the QS bed mattress
- Joss (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Melsy1 (7/5): Cosy, comfortable, serenity - Functional space, cosy with fire place, plenty of firewood supplied, as well as fire lighters and basic kitchen supplies to get you started. Towels were soft. Electric blankets. Bathroom & kitchen are a little dated, few minor repairs required. Cobwebs in few roooms. No smart TV. Pillows little flat for my preference.
- Nicolle (7/5): Would come again, we had a bit of an issue with the toilet but that was fixed quick - Location was good, very quiet and peaceful. Birds were beautiful
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location on a spacious block not far from the shops and pub. Particularly enjoyed the free-standing wood heater
- Jemma (8/5): We had a fantastic weekend and enjoyed our stay here. - Good location and peaceful.
Very cosy with the fire. I didn’t like that we were expected to clean with a vacuum that had zero suction and not many cleaning products or broom to brush etc.
I don’t mind cleaning after myself if everything is in good working condition.
- Cathy (10/5): - A cosy, clean and comfortable cottage which is very dog friendly. Loved the fire! Situated in a quiet bush setting. Lots of bird life. Great to see the wattle blossoms.
