- Katie (10/5): The building and rooms are quite old, but the kitchen and bathroom have been nicely upgraded. There’s a lovely little ba - Excellent location, everything we needed for short stay. Rubbish left in main bedroom that we had to clean ourselves.
- Ezra (9/5): -
- Tania (9/5): Great location very comfortable - Great location The floor one the first floor was very creaky near the bathroom
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Shaun (8/5): Surprisingly Comfortable - Surprised the room was a good size great bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Small Kitchenette and balcony finished a very comfortable package Small issue with door pad on arrival however sorted very quickly.
- Greg (8/5): - Location was awesome. Off street parking. Comfortable and tidy A bit dated but great value for money
- Hunt (7/5): -
- John (6/5): -
- Linda (4/5): - Convenient to womens and childrens hospital Cleanliness, cockroachers in cupboards,
No plug anywhere in apartment
Pictures were better than it actually was
- Thomas (8/5): - Especially liked having a balcony.
Heaps of room. Very nice modern bathroom.
- Prelc (10/5): Great location and price. We will book again. - The location and price were excellent. Cooking facilities so you can be self sufficient. Bring ear plugs in case of traffic or rubbish trucks. Comfy bed, free parking, and good light block for sleeping. All good. Just remember there could be outside noise in the city.
- LISA (7/5): Why do people party so loud? - Location was great for everything I needed People who have no consideration for other people sleeping. Screaming at the top of your lungs...and Screaming out your friends name!!!!! Ella shut up you immature idiot
- Patricia (10/5): Adelaide sejour. - Our daughter had her second baby. Close to hospital, city and North Adelaide restaurants. Great location. It would be easier having a reception closer. Eventhough we were able to put our luggage in our appartement earlier than check in.
- Thanh (10/5): Great facility to explore Adelaide. - The facility is close to the Adelaide CBD and was near the Marathon startling. Very convenient. The carpark is limited.
- Thuy Trang (8/5): -
- Jess (1/5): Don't stay here! Health hazard!!!!!!! - The location. Right across from the hospital which was convenient for my daughters appointments Where do I start. It was filthy. Mould on the windows, in the bathroom on the tiles, the wifi didn't work, half the PowerPoint's didn't work, the blinds were broken and hanging cords down which was dangerous for our children, the range hood was dirty, the light on the range hood was broken, there was fat splattered all up the cupboards, the floor was dirty, the remote for the TV was missing the battery cover which was dangerous for our kids. The staff sent us the wrong pin to get in. I have asked for a full refund but they have been very unhelpful and will be taking this to the health department.
- Sarah (1/5): - Leaving The first apartment was unhygienic. Our toddler uses a bed rail and when we went to slide it onto the bed base we saw what appeared to be many dried blood stains. We were offered a second apartment where the shower head was broken, there was a power point hanging off the wall with exposed wires, a curtain rod half hanging off the wall and dust and dirt everywhere. We were meant to stay 2 nights but decided it was too unsafe and unhygienic for out toddler so found somewhere else to stay. We were offered a one night refund if we checked out by 11am (which i have in writing) however this had to be organised through booking.com and I have not received any confirmation of the refund or the refund itself. We wont be using booking.com for any future booking.
- Rachael (6/5): - The volume on TV was broken. Picture still worked but no volume might need replacing
- Sykes (8/5): -
- Chris (6/5): -
- Kelly (1/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): -
- Kim Sanh Thi (6/5): - The staff over the phone was quite friendly..
The rooms were spacious and clean. The exterior looked quite run down so for a single female felt a bit unsafe.
- Evarna (1/5): - We arrived on time, dropped our bags, and went out for the evening. When we returned later that night with three young children, we began noticing multiple issues and raised our concerns as soon as they became apparent.
The condition of the apartment was unacceptable. There was visible mould, heavy dust on furnishings, cockroaches present, and we also found underwear along with rubbish and leftover food that had not been cleaned.
Given the late hour and having young children with us, relocating was not a practical option, so we had no choice but to stay the night. We reported the issues, however no meaningful resolution was provided.
This was extremely disappointing and not what we expected from the listing.
- Sophie (1/5): Great price & location but very unsanitary & dirty, super disappointing. - The price & location. Honestly, it was not clean, especially considering we had to wait and hour after check in for access as apparently the housekeepers were cleaning/getting it ready however it was still very dirty, bugs (dead and alive) everywhere, hair everywhere (literal body hair that hadn’t been cleaned up, like someone had shaved), blood on the curtains. Upon leaving today I discovered I had insect bites all up my arms.
- Jo (4/5): - Very close to WCH which is why we stay there. Also a short walk to get dinners Was very unclear
- Peter (6/5): Good location and overall clean unit - Location was good The unit was not cleaned the whole time we were there, even though when I called them they said not on weekends but on week days which was fine but no new towels or cleaned whole time . Channel 7 on Tv didn’t work
- James (9/5): Very convenient and very clean - Location, size Bed was too hard
- Bently (7/5): -
- Jayden (6/5): - Good spot, great shower The plug in the sink didn’t work. Made it really hard to wash dishes
- Smith Family (9/5): -
- Sanduni Warunika (7/5): -
- Riho (6/5): - It was good.
- Courtney (10/5): -
- Daniela (5/5): - Location Not very clean
- Donald (5/5): Very expensive for the standard provided - Location The room was very dated with stains on the carpets, curtains.
- JAN (7/5): Great location and price. - Location, full size fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, utensils, cutlery, plates, bowls, tea towels, washup detergent, toilet paper, soap and ice trays. Airconditioner we used to heat the room when it got chilly and the TV worked well. Nothing. You have everything you need for the stay and its a 3 star accommodation so don't expect the Ritz. Stayed 4 nights and one morning I believe the whole building didn't have hot water, but I got a hot shower before this happened.
- Kiran (8/5): Older style, clean , great location for footy - Great central location—basically next door to the Adelaide Cathedral, directly across from the Cathedral Hotel, and just a short walk to the footy stadium.
The apartments are older in style, and anything above number 19 is up two flights of stairs with no lift, so keep that in mind when booking.
We stayed in Apartment 22. It has a small but functional kitchen with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, and basic supplies including tea and coffee. The bathroom is a good size with excellent water pressure. Soap and a hairdryer are provided, but there’s no shampoo or conditioner.
The lounge area is spacious, with a TV, couch, single bed, and a small table with three chairs, although it is quite dark due to no windows. There’s a separate verandah-style bedroom with a double bed. An ironing board is included, and there are laundry facilities on site.
Overall, the apartment was clean and, if not gather round, I imagine it would be very reasonably priced. For the location alone, I would definitely stay again.
- Hels Hall (9/5): Fantastic location and a clean comfortable base to stay in the city - Location Location if you are seeing anything at Adelaide Oval like we were. The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. There really wasn't much i can find i didn't like. If I have to find something maybe a plug nearer to the bed for the lamp but I managed with what I had and it didn't affect my stay in any way
- Lincon (8/5): -
- Tammy (6/5): Convenient - Location The most uncomfortable beds.
Very dusty, no basics of salt and pepper . Shower not acceptable for some ppl with limited physical ability.
NO SMART TV ???
- Jenelle (5/5): It served a purpose. I’ve learnt a lesson. - The location. Wasn’t clean. Blood stain on mattress protector, stains on pillows. Dirty marks on walls, doors and door handles. Shower has mold, ceiling fan covered in dust.
Other guests noisy and inconsiderate.
- Jessica (5/5): -
- Phone (10/5): Meet expectations. Great job 👍 - Great location.
Had everything I needed.
Staff were nice enough to allow us to have a late check out. Couch uncomfortable
Could upgrade lighting & to smart tv’s
- Emily (1/5): Not worth the $ - The location was central. The converted bedroom that had a window directly into the 2nd bedroom.
Place was dirty, dusty and had cockroaches.
Access to apartment was difficult, was provided with wrong passcode.
No reception on site.
- Justina (1/5): -
- Jayanti (10/5): -
- Juliet (4/5): - The apartment was incredibly dusty. While the surfaces were clean the curtains and furniture was full of dust. Also, the lighting was hostile, white white light globes in the living rooms.
- Nicole (8/5): -
- Noel (9/5): - Great location
- Adam (8/5): -
- Adam (8/5): -
- hao (7/5): -
- Anna (8/5): Would stay again. - Close to where we needed to be. Quiet and you felt reasonable safe. Bedside lamp didn’t work and is broken. Couldn’t lock screen door so you couldn’t keep main door open for a bit of ventilation. My husband and another tenant had to fix bench seat outside our rooms to sit on as it was about to collapse. We had to buy screws and nuts and washers to repair it. The tenants wife had just had twins and it was unsafe for her to use.
- Myriam Itzaskun (7/5): - El tamaño de la habitación, y lo equipada que estaba. La ducha muy buena La moqueta y el mobiliario un poco viejo
- kirrilly (9/5): Had a great nights sleep - Great experience ground floor
Clean and safe
- Angela (3/5): - Location Room smelled like smoke, floors dirty making feet dirty, carpet was wet, dirty spoon on the floor under bed on arrival, balcony had cigarette butts on the floor, very noisy.
- Darryl (7/5): Really good excellent fur what we needed - It was very convenient location excellent price point. A little run down but that was to be expected considering price.
- Michael (10/5): -
- Evan (6/5): - Excellent location, big apartment with multiple rooms, friendly communication from staff, very affordable.
I'd been concerned after seeing other poor reviews, however the apartment was clean, convenient and quiet. I felt safe and would happily stay here again. Facilities were basic and fairly dated, but clean and in working order
- Pukjira (8/5): Great - Add elevator please Smoking
- Liam (10/5): -
- Melanie (8/5): Excellent location and always a great stay. - Close to CBD and Adelaide oval.
Car parking is great.

- harsha (9/5): very goog - good close to a lot of things
- Susan (10/5): -
- yad (7/5): nice clean friendly establishment - air conditioner was on when I arrived.
Ice in the ice box.
great touches. windows cannot open to allow air flow; however front door could be opened.
be good to have smart TV to link personal platforms to watch TV whilst staying at establishment
- Kylie (7/5): -
- Peter (7/5): -
- Jennifer (7/5): Great location but old and tired - The apartment was spacious and in a great location for us to walk wherever we wanted to go. It was surprisingly quiet for being on a busy road. Access to the apartment was made very easy with a lock pad. The building was old and tired and needed work being done to it. There were dirty dishes put back in the kitchen cupboard, the wooden fly screen had no screen on it, the floors were very squeaky. The cleaning service was half hearted, e.g. one bed was made up but the other wasn't on some of the days. The bins were emptied some days but not others. For what we got, we felt it was overpriced.
- Robyn (8/5): Perfect Location for Adelaide Oval - Very convenient location close to Adelaide Oval. The apartment was roomy enough for three adults, with a comfortable lounge and bed. Everything was clean and tidy. A great place to stay.
- Tracy (3/5): -
- Molly (5/5): It does the job but not spectacular - It’s super conveniently positioned for events at Adelaide oval.
Comfy enough to get by a few nights. The cleanliness and maintenance was lacking, the building is a bit outdated and the furniture had some quirks - one bed and a shelf in the room had pretty obvious leans.
- Simone (7/5): - Location was amazing Very old ( but clean)
Quite noisey overnight
Did clearly specify that the car park was tiny and not enough for each apartment.
- Billie (10/5): -
- Deborah (5/5): - The apartment was spacious. There were cockroaches in the apartment, especially the kitchen. The air conditioning in the bedroom was not working properly.
- Lauren (6/5): Good location - Good location. Easy check in.
- Susan (7/5): -
- Leonie (7/5): -
- JUDI (6/5): Fit our purpose. The 3rd floor stairs were a killer with carrying lugage and shopping up to the room - Location was perfect for womans and childrens hospital visits. The lounge room had an airconditioner. Good cooking vacilaties for long stays Bedrooms were hot. 1 bedroom had a pedastool fan the other didn't. The grill tray was full of fat and had to be cleaned before we could cook otherwise the room was clean.
