Guest Reviews
- Harjeet singh (10/5): - The price is good, and the stay is very comfy. I have nothing to complain about.
- Steven (8/5): -
- Natasha (10/5): -
- TessN (7/5): Budget option 15 minutes from Launceston - I liked the family of pademelons that came to visit in the mornings. The little joey was too cute!
The lady in reception was very welcoming and friendly.
My cabin, while close to the office and laundry, felt very private and secure. For my tastes, the pillows were too thin and floppy. I didn't sleep well there.
I chose this venue because I didn't want to pay for two hotel rooms downtown. As it happened, I ended up travelling alone and the city would have been a better option for a solo traveller. There's nothing really wrong with this venue, it just wasn't right for me this time.
- Noni (7/5): -
- Izatt (8/5): - Staff location price A bit dated but reflected in pricei
- Chamintha (7/5): It’s average a good stay - Easy location to find Bathroom is very very very small
Cabin is quite older but spacious
- Gaylene (9/5): Staff were so helpful. Thanks for the upgrade! Perfect. -
- Tracy (10/5): I really liked staying here and would happily stay again. - It was very clean, warm and comfortable. Considering it was very close to a busy road, it is quiet and you barely hear the traffic.
It is close to the CBD and easy to get to. Although busy at peak traffic times. There is really nothing negative to say about staying here.
- Angela (8/5): - The staff was so kind
- Che Ming (8/5): -
- Ellen (9/5): - Annette was amazing and helpful The mattress on the bed

- Trish and mark (10/5): - Cabin 60 was so cute and comfy. Every thing we needed. Nice quite location with wild life everywhere. Shops all close
- Ramandeep (8/5): -
- Trish and mark (10/5): Beautiful natural setting - Beautiful grounds with a natural setting..staff we're all very friendly. Unit was very convenient. Good heating. Pots pans plates coffee and tea sugar milk on arrival. Lovely balcony to eat at or rest And relax. We had the most relaxing time. Very close to all shops. Price was amazing Others silly reviews.
- Lyell (7/5): Overall was a good unit. Kitchen was updated except for the hot plate, I hope this next. - Hot plate was very old and not in the best condition

- Merryl (10/5): Friendly and homely - Staff always welcoming, like living in our own house, quiet and calm, close to nature. All good.
- Mulder (8/5): -
- Jenny (9/5): So comfy, felt like our own space. A home away from home - Property was quiet, clean and big enough for 4 It possible needs a lick of paint but it didn’t effect our stay at all
- Dave (9/5): Great stay - Very peaceful bushland setting. Annette helpful at check-in and during stay.
Good facilities and bonus electric blankets on bed. Really enjoyed my time there. Nothing to mention.
- Kaye (7/5): -
- SELVARAJ (6/5): -
- Michael (8/5): - I was only there for 1 night and out most of the time but would like to stay longer next time. Nice location and very affordable. Staff were friendly and helpful, it's a nice unique set up.
- Frank (7/5): Great place, have stayed here before and will again - Great little place to stay, clean, quiet, beats a motel room that’s for sure. For the price you can’t complain but the only downside is it doesn’t have wifi access
- Diane (6/5): The facility offers good value for money, location is great for easy access to surrounding attractions. - Location, easy access to shopping centre nearby. Close enough to the city not to be a bother Very dated, furniture was past its prime & not comfortable, lacking basic maintenance. Could be so much better for little effort.
- Anthony (9/5): Enjoyed the short stay - I was running very late into Launceston that evening. Rang holiday park and they not only left key and instruction out.
They put heater on and electric bed on a very cool night.
- Smith (1/5): Not a Deluxe Cabin - The local pub had good meals. Close to the peninsula. The room was dusty, damp and musty, had broken drawers and blinds, had minimal sound proofing (noisy neighbours very early in the morning) and a cockroach ran over the kitchen sink. The cabin was very tired with minimal maintenance and upkeep having been performed. Advertised as a Deluxe Cabin; this was misleading.
- Donna (10/5): -
- Anna (7/5): -
- Lorraine (8/5): -
- Tracy (8/5): - It was quiet and comfortable
- Annette (9/5): Comfortable and well equipped, just out of town enough to avoid the city hustle. - Cabin was comfortable and well equipped, with a nice bush feel. Had very pleasant stay Was a little out of town and close to road but seemed quiet at night. Small bed fine for us but maybe not for everyone.
- Joanne (10/5): Great place to stay to explore West Tamar. - Great facilities and cheerful accommodating staff.
- Patricia (7/5): A good place to stay on the outskirts of Launceston - Our cabin was tucked up in amongst trees away from the main road.
- Tanya (8/5): We do tend to stay here each year on and off - The staff are friendly Most stays are great. This time we landed a room with no blinds or curtains for keeping the park lights out behind us in the 2nd bedroom and no actual inbuilt air-conditioning. We did have a fan it did seem very powerful, this time round we seemed to be less comfortable.
- Bonnie (7/5): -
- Daniella (10/5): -
- Mal (8/5): No complaints... -
- Andrew Werner (6/5): - Good location. Poorly maintained externally. AC unit struggled to heat consistently.
- John (7/5): -
- Elizabeth (8/5): -
- Silke (9/5): -
- Christina (7/5): - There were a couple of things that were not working anx hopefully will be fixed after i leave
- Beach-Ross (9/5): -
- Craig & Kelly (10/5): - The staff were very friendly and helpful It was our last day of our holiday and would have loved to stay longer
- Ann (4/5): - I love the bush location as our cabin was up the back. Mat up hallway was a trip hazard, corners turned up.
- Assheton (8/5): -
- Graeme (8/5): -
- Pamela (8/5): - The staff were very helpful. Cabins need to be updated. Shower leaked and is very small. Tv kept drop out.
- PK (8/5): - Good value for money. Just outside the town, but has a Woolies close by. Was great to have laundry facilities, as we were at the end of our trip and manged to avoid carrying bsck a whole load of dirty clothes. You'll find a few bunnies hoping around as well. Cabins are a bit dated, so signs showing up everywhere. Stayed here during a couple of hot days, so the cabins were a bit toasty.
- Tanya (10/5): Great friendly helpful staff - Great staff Only issue has been the new road marking changes out the front of the park.
With Transport and roads poor line marking. which doesn't allow for a break the road line to define, where you turn into the Park at night. or if you are unfamiliar with that area!
Of course that is definitely not the Parks doing,
However it seems odd that the road lines are not set up to be more obvious for people new to travelling in Tasmania. Given tourism is big business here.
After all they these roads and transport companies should be actively supportive to local business operators.
- Sandra (8/5): - Comfortable bed clean spacious
- Marion (10/5): Nice stay with all amenities - All good.
- Anish (5/5): -
- Yumi (7/5): Very very friendly staff -
- Vinci (10/5): - Il nostro bungalow era dotato di tutti i comfort, il bagno forse un po' piccolo, ma ci si adatta in questi casi. Tutto perfetto, posizione vicina a Launceston e supermercati.
- Michelle (8/5): -
- Caleb (10/5): -
- Tanya (10/5): Nice staff and stay there often - Nice people generally quiet, clean and good facilities. Its so reliable that we stay there several times a year.
- Cann (10/5): - Super lovely staff who were really kind and helpful
- Jo (7/5): -
- Rolph (7/5): -
- Nara (9/5): - Cleanliness Bunker bed makes lots of noise when you roll
- Deborah (8/5): Comfy cabin close to Launceston - Comfortable cabin in holiday park just outside of Launceston. Easy to access, friendly staff. As much privacy as possible in a caravan, camping and cabin park including a deck and outdoor seating for two. Some fittings are a bit dated but all clean and comfortable.
- scott (10/5): -
- Arunee (10/5): -
- ROBYN (8/5): - Convenient location. Friendly check in at reception. Air con is necessary for a comfortable stay
- Sagar (5/5): -
- Nicola (6/5): -
- Bec (10/5): Great budget Accommodation - The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if looking for cheap accommodation in the Launceston area. I plan to stay there again on my next visit.
- Craig (10/5): - Great staff, quiet, clean well priced especially during special event Nothing really, it was one night, basic but clean and comfortable well priced accommodation.
- Lisa (1/5): - The spa The bed the pillows was too flat the cups was not big enough the towels to little no light milk
- JESSICA (1/5): Never again, we ended up forfeiting the second night and paid for accomodation in town - It was well located near my family in Legana and the lady running the park was very friendly. We stayed in a cabin, it was dated (which is not a problem for the price) but the bed and pillows were quite uncomfortable and you could tell they had seen a lot of use.
The cabin was not very clean and there were stains on the fabric covered chairs in the lounge room. I did not feel comfortable sitting on the furniture.
It also had a bad smell of cooked meat through the cabin.
- Piyumi Ishara (7/5): - Heater is not good
- Vicki (10/5): -
- Shona (8/5): -
- Nola (10/5): Very friendly greeting, great location. - No breakfast
- Cheryl (8/5): -
- TZU-WEN (8/5): -
- Loren (10/5): Excellent!!! 10/10 . We will be back again - The location was perfect for us. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Cabin was exactly what we needed
It was very clean and warm. Only The pillows
But We just went to Kmart and bought our own
- Winnie (8/5): -
- Gary (5/5): -
- Hannah (9/5): -
- Ruckstuhl (8/5): All in the survey - It was comfortable. It only had a tiny rubbish bin in the toilet area, could not find one in the kitchen.
- Phillips (6/5): Great spot - It was located in a great spot and nice and quiet . Had what you needed. The bed was like sleeping on the floor. And the wfi you couldn't get. Apart from that all else was good.
- Angela (10/5): We’ll be back. We liked it here. - Good size for me and my family. As well as affordable price. The shower. Can’t move it the way you want it, the way you’re comfortable using it.
- Karryn (6/5): -
- Arulmurugan (10/5): -
- Anne-Maree (7/5): - an ideal location and facilities for me. Internet access would be brilliant and I needed an extra blanket when it got cold but there didn't seem to be a spare.
- Austick (7/5): A pleasant stay - The location is in a lovely setting and was good for our purpose and we got to know the local shopping centre. All facilities worked and bed was comfy so no major complaints. It is 30mins from the centre of Launceston but that didn't bother us. No WiFi which in these days is not good. They had all the steaming services on their TV but as no WiFi we couldn't connect to it.
- Nigel (9/5): -
- Amber (10/5): Comfy cabin close to Launnie - Spacious cabin that met our needs. Well located.
