- Paula (10/5): Short stay close to Melbourne - We stayed for 3 nights at Deloraine Homestead and had a great time. The property is gorgeous and secluded. Watching the sunsets at night from the porch was fabulous. The breakfast provided was excellent and catered to our dietary requirements.

- TERENCE P (10/5): Homestead recreated - Deloraine is fundamentally a B&B experience and the host, Peta, does an excellent job. The location is somewhat isolated so private transport is essential but it is a pleasant area and an enjoyable and scenic drive. The home is an elaborate recreation of a homestead and Peta has ensured there is a homely feel with thoughtful considerations and plenty of her various collections. A hot breakfast is included - and dietary requirements checked on arrival. Good local advice on tourist attractions and wineries and places to eat. An overnight stay recommended.
- Nicki (10/5): Couldn't get better! - Our stay was so fantastic here. Firstly, Peta was delightful. She was so accommodating and even organised a friend to transport us to the Day on the Green. You couldn't fault our rooms or the Homestead at all. It was pristinely cleaned with lovely little creature comfort touches in the bedroom. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and I loved the electric blanket. And to top it off, we had a fully cooked home made breakfast in the morning which was delicious! Just perfect. Thank you Peta.

Peta is a wonderful lady who understands perfectly the art of being a perfect host and respecting your privacy. We will certainly book again the next time we want a break from the city. The place is situated perfectly to give you the wide open spaces you want whilst being close enough to all local attractions.

We only stayed for a night and it was a perfect relaxing location after a busy day in Yarra Valley. Our host was very welcoming and so were the all the kangaroos that were bouncing about the property. we were after a quiet cosy place where we could enjoy the surrounding view and a nice glass of wine. The clawfoot bathtub, cornices, and ceiling fixtures added nice touches to the rooms. The pairs of shoes around every corner also added a nice personalized touch.

- Gary (10/5): Peaceful getaway, highly recommended. - My wife and I stayed in the cottage for 2 nights over the Australia Day long weekend. We had an extremely relaxing and enjoyable stay. The accommodation was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Peta was very welcoming and once she had shown us around, left us alone which was exactly what we wanted. The countryside surrounding the cottage is absolutely beautiful and at night there's not a sound to be heard nor or a light to be seen. I haven't slept that well in ages. Deloraine Homestead is highly recommended for those looking for a relaxing short stay away from the usual stresses of day-to-day life. We can't wait to get back there soon enough.

A lovely homestead in a serene location with nice views down the valley. Lots of friendly birds and other wildlife. Peta was a perfect host and prepared a delicious breakfast. The rooms are comfortable decorated with interesting, but tasteful adornments and features. Looking forward to visiting again.

When you stay at Deloraine Homestead you realise that you have just created another moment in your life. A place that lets you BE in the moment. Thanks to Peta, what a delight.
- Carolynne (6/5): Anniversary weekend - We had a lovely one night stay in beautiful surrounds. The host was very friendly and welcoming with great tips for things to see & do in the area. We were disappointed that the toilet was outside the bathroom/ensuite so you had to go out into the main hallway & our room was also next to the host's room with our ensuite separating the two. So not as private as we would have liked but the host was very discreet. A plunger and coffee is pretty standard nowadays but we only had instant coffee in our room although plunger was served at the delicious breakfast. I think $200 is quite expensive for what it is as the room is pretty small and would recommend a $160-$180 price range for that particular room.

As we were the only guests at the time she upgraded our room to a beautiful spacious room with a fabulous view. Breakfast was scrumptious and we could not have wished for a nicer place to enjoy. We highly recommend staying at Deloraine, you will not be disappointed.
