- Gibson (10/5): - Absolutely liked the friendly welcome that we got on arrival and the quick communication leading up to our stay. Room was immaculately presented, everything was clean and tidy. What was needed to be explained about the room and the use of it was explained nice and clear and easy to follow. Just the overall look of the place was homely and inviting. The only couple minor things and they are just that 'minor' is that were it was hard to get the right temperature when it came to having a shower.....it was either to hot ot not hot enough but that could of been caused by others have showers at the same time that it could of been interfering with it. And other thing was I think each room should have and allocated parking spot for their room instead of it being opening parking and park where you like. Was a bonus having our own spa in our room but if only the water jets in it were lil bit stronger/powerful that just would of topped it off.

The rooms were next to eachother. Loved the space, the spa bath and all the other facilities. This room had everything we needed. Was a convenient location for the wedding we attended. Serviced daily so was very clean. Thank you so much to the staff. I am definitely coming back. Highly recommend this place to stay!!

Parking is steps from unit door. Garden furniture is available. Of all the motels we have experienced in NZ Cambridge Mews is our favourite!

Kitchenette, 2 element stove. (We took our Air fryer)All necessities. Unit cleaned and replenished as needed everyday or request tags hung outside door if not needed Carparking is wherever on the property. You are not allocated a certain carpark. The Hosts are very helpful and there to help with any questions. I thoroughly enjoyed mi stay with mi daughter and 2 mokopuna. As I have a disability i was unable to go to lake karapiro to watch mi mokopuna( grandaughterz)at her Waka Ama rowing at Lake karapiro but able to watch it on sky channel which was a great bonus surprise.for me. Mi bucket was full. Great breakaway for me.. Thankyou The Mews Hamilton.💖💖💖💖💖💖 Toilet beside cooking area. Sliding door. Otherwise luv luv ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

- Jackie (10/5): Great facilities, great people, great location - we'll be back! - My husband has some mobility issues, which we mentioned to our hosts, Andy and Cristal, when we made the booking. They responded promptly - by phone - telling us they'd placed us in the accessibility unit, which would meet all our needs, and had mobility parking right by the door. When we arrived they went out of their way to make us feel at home, and the unit they'd reserved for us was the most user-friendly accessibility unit ever.. There was plenty of room for my husband to get about on his walking frame, a comfortable, easily accessible bedroom, and a well laid out bathroom, with enough grab handles in the right places to make even the spa bath accessible for him. On top of that Andy and Cristal were delightful hosts - always happy to give advice or just stop for a chat. And, to my delight, the kitchen was brilliantly equipped with everything you need to make proper meals. Most impressed - we'll definitely be back. Absolutely nothing that could have been improved.

- Ian (8/5): We stay at Cambridge Mews whenever we visit NZ so clearly they get repeat business. - No breakfast available. Whilst there was no breakfast available we were able to get a very good breakfast at a nearby cafe. Obviously this would not be convenient if you wished to make an early start so I do think the service could be improved if some breakfast basics were provided in the room eg. small packets of cereal and bread for toast.

The managers and staff were friendly & helpful. The parking area was small and difficult to manoeuvre a larger vehicle into parking space. Often needed to reverse in from street so you could drive out. The presence of brick pillars on portico restricted space and contributed to this problem.
