- Jodie (10/5): Fabulous. Everything you want in a stay in the Hunter Valley. - Convenient to everything in the Hunter Valley. Beautifully presented. Very clean, comfortable and homely. The pool was very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Complimentary wine tasting at Alter Cellar Door was great too. A great time had by all.
- Sjaan (10/5): We will definitely come back - Well positioned for where we needed to go and stay, plus was comfortable and easily accessible Only thing was there were so many large red ants throughout and spiders.
- Agroj (10/5): -
- Hunter (10/5): - Excellent little cottage on a vineyard. Very spacious inside for the size, and the patio was great to sit out. The tasting room staff was super nice and the wine was our favorite, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is also super convenient to anywhere you'd want to go;it felt like almost everything was within 10 minutes drive. Finding it can be challenging, but once you know what to look for it's fine.
- Kamal (9/5): Amazing break! - Just being able to listen to the birds, greenery and the cottage position provided a peaceful ambience ambience. Just wished between the Emma's cottage land and the road there was some greenery to hide away the passing traffic.
- Mary (9/5): -

- Larisa (10/5): Loved it! - We loved everything about our stay, we had cottage number 4 for 2 families with 4 kids altogether. The kids loved the upstairs rooms and we enjoyed the downstairs next to the fireplace. The vineyard was stunning and close to everything in the valley. The EV charging facility was an added bonus. - Aira (9/5): It was really good - Spacious and clean The cemetery is beside of the cottage and its kinda scary at night and did not really mention on the description that the place is near at the cemetery.
- Nadine (10/5): Exceeded expectations, wish we had more nights! - Everything was perfect, the location was beautiful. The accommodation was more than we expected, so comfortable, spacious and perfect for our extended family getaway together. Beds were very comfy, the indoor and outdoor space was amazing and the breakfast provided was generous. Communication the whole way through was great. Neville who greeted us was so welcoming and Liz on the phone had us sorted. Loved it and already planning to visit again.
- Baelue (8/5): - Was beautiful spot It said breakfast, I assumed it was a buffet
It was just some cereal croissants yoghurt juice in the fridge
- Pamela (6/5): The 2 bedroom cottage has everything you need for your stay and is comfortable. It’s about a 10 minute drive from Hunter - Clean and quiet. Bottle of wine was a lovely touch as was the welcome letter. Also lovely that you could check in and out online. Not very cosy
- ROMMEL (7/5): Still a relaxing place to stay, we like the view, the facilities like the pool . - Accesible Location and facilities are good, quiet place, very relaxing Not nice smell of the entire house, bed, pillow and blanket.
- Dylan (8/5): -

- Sandra (9/5): Stunning location in the heart of wine country. - The location was beautiful, especially if you enjoy peace and quiet. Being amongst the vines and being visited by kangaroos was very special.
The welcome pack, including an excellent wine, saved us having to shop on the first day. Nothing.

- Leigh (10/5): Awesome - Amazing location, private and serene. Very comfy beds and dark rooms for sleeping. Spacious for a family or 2 couples. As there is no oven, providing an air fryer would have been awesome.

- Alan (9/5): Very relaxing and kids enjoyed it very much ! We will book the cottage #4 again soon 😀 - Fireplace , the farm around the cottage and the cottage itself + the set up. Dishwasher wasn't working properly+ washing machine was missing+ bbq needs an upgrade
- Jessica (8/5): Overall pretty good - Beautiful location, lots of space, loved the complimentary food and wine. Shower heads didn’t work very well and the beds were hard
- Celia (9/5): -
- Kathleen (9/5): Relaxing family weekend - We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect with easy access, and the setup and decor of the villa were beautiful. The beds were super comfortable, and we loved the fireplace—it made the place feel so cozy. The vineyard views were stunning and added to the relaxing atmosphere. We also appreciated the complimentary wine and fresh croissants on arrival, along with milk, cereals, and other thoughtful touches. Communication was smooth, and the instructions and map provided made everything easy. There wasn’t much to fault at all. The only small suggestion would be to number the villas for easier identification on arrival.
- Shane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (8/5): Very good - Stunning vineyard view, huge lawn for my child to play, and a fantastic fireplace. Water taps are tricky to use, water pressure only cuts in when turned to certain point, water tank is very noisy for the bedroom right next to it.
- Christina (9/5): Emma's Cottage was great - The cottage was easy to find, instructions to get in were also easy. When we got in we had croissants, bottle of shiraz, milk, yoghurt and cerial in the cottage. The whole place was clean and tidy inside, we had a problem with the kettle and within minutes we were brought a new one. Beds were comfortable and the fireplace kept the whole place warm at night. Highly recommend this stay. Nothing, everything was great.
- Melanie (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Suzanne (7/5): A quiet change - We loved that the heater was on when we arrived as it was a cold wet day. It was a lovely surprise that they left breakfast provisions for our first morning. We loved the bath sheets provided instead of small bath towels. The bed was comfortable & we loved waking up to kangaroos & different birds each morning.
The one staff member that we met was lovely along with the location, nice & quiet. That it was a little dated. There wasn't any matching glass wear or cutlery. There weren't any coffee mugs only small cups & sauces. The tap in the bathroom sprays everywhere along with the shower head. It would be nice to have sheer curtains in the bedroom so that you didn't have to close the blind & turn on the lights every time you wanted to get changed.
I wouldn't say that it was value for money as we have stayed in nicer for less.
- Alecia (10/5): Gorgeous country cottage - The communication with Emma's Cottage was amazing! The cottage was gorgeous and we had a fantastic stay.
- John (9/5): Very pleasant and with the combustion stove nice and warm .. - The Cabin had a light continental Breakfast and a bottle of wine which was a nice touch .. and a coffee pod machine with pods ..
- Patti (8/5): Really loved our stay but not sure that I’d stay there again. The mosquitoes were horrendous - In a great spot. Loved the wrap around verandah which looked out on the vines.
Well stocked, loved that there were breakfast supples that I didn’t expect So many mosquitoes both inside & out.
There’s a hole in the floor at the main bedroom entry which may be where they were getting in. We had so many bites on us overnight.
- John (8/5): Very good - Beautiful location, clean, comfortable bed, loved the touches with continental breakfast supplies provided.
Only downside was the water pump each time you ran water. Otherwise would have been a 10/10.
- Brooke (9/5): Superb -
- Jacqueline (10/5): Wonderful weekend away!!! - We stayed at Emma's cottage for a destination wedding and it honestly exceeded our expectations. From the complimentary bottle of wine and croissants, to the lovely wine tasting we had - the staff were excellent, facilities fantastic, the bed super comfortable, and had everything we needed, plus more! Thank you so much for having us and we will definitely be back.
- Mrsg80 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aleisha (8/5): Very good - Beautiful location for my Hens weekend away
- Victoria (9/5): Superb -
- Rui (9/5): Superb -
- Erin (8/5): Very good - Beds very soft. Obviously hard to suit everyone's personal comfort though.
- Daniel (10/5): The perfect place to relax! Can’t recommend enough - The property was beautiful! Perfect for a chilled girls weekend (group of 10). The layout of the house gave space for everyone!
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (9/5): A very enjoyable stay. - The property was very clean and comfortable and location was very pleasant within the vineyard. Kangaroos were freely hopping around the area.. We did the wine tasting, which was free to residents and was most enjoyable. Nice patio outside to sit out and enjoy the location.
- Belinda (10/5): Great location for our weekend at ADOTG - Brilliant location and accommodation Mosquitoes
- Mathew (7/5): Lovely - Great location, great access to the pool, lovely free wine tasting from the cellar door. Very relaxed. The very noisy water pump outside our bedroom window was probably the only real downside. Every time a tap was turned on or the toilet was flushed it made an awful loud noise outside our window which was very annoying, especially late at night and early morning. Would have been nice to be left some cooking basics like olive oil. The pool is small and is used by all the properties so could probably have done with a clean during our stay as lots of hair, feathers and bugs in the water but not a showstopper.
- Natasha (10/5): Amazing!! Would definitely stay here again - So peaceful, great location , value for money and lots to do there No restaurants on site or close by
- Basu (6/5): was goos except of mosquitos. - breakfast provided was unexpected. loved it. rooms were full of mosquitos.
- Jayne (7/5): An enjoyable stay - Clean , staff lovely
Nice location. Kitchen lacked some basic utensils to facilitate a better experience for self catering
- Helen (10/5): Peaceful location, the house has everything you could ever need and the cellar door is really nice! - Beautiful location, so quiet and peaceful with kangaroos treating us each morning and baby ducklings :)
The cellar door is beautiful and has a gorgeous gift shop too The 5 bedroom house is amazing but just requires a little walk or 2 min drive to the pool
- Enkhbold (1/5): This place is haunted. - It was cheap, clean and staff was friendly The place itself was creepy and haunted. All of us saw something and struggled to sleep during the night. Our door was opened itself, the book moved right in front of us. One of my friends saw a ghost face, other one saw walking feet and the other one was pulled by a ghost.
- Rachel (9/5): Superb - Location and the size of the cottage is good for a big group (split level). Breakfast provided was excellent, with a bottle of wine. Nice surprise when checking in. I wish the cottage had a washing machine, some paper towels and a vacuum cleaner. These are just minor things when travelling with small kids.
- Angela (10/5): Restful and relaxing - perfect! - Property was clean spacious and comfortable. The pool was small but great for a dip in the heat of the day. Great bbq. Lovely extra touches such as complimentary breakfast and wine tasting. Nothing. Watch out for mosquitoes!
- Ruihang (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (7/5): Good -
- Abhilash (9/5): Superb -
- Janet (8/5): Lovely cottage in a good location - Location was excellent only 5 min drive to The Hunter Valley Gardens for the Christmas Light Show. Cellar door on site and the pool was a bonus as the weather was quite warm.
The breakfast items supplied were lovely and the cottage was equipped with all that was necessary for a comfortable stay.
Beds were very comfortable. The upstairs bathroom was a little small for 4 adults and the dining table only sat 6 while the cottage slept 8.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (6/5): Pleasant - Location Needs a bit of maintenance. Was a bit run down.
Worn out furniture
Average bed quality
- Jenene (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (8/5): Very good -
- Leanne (9/5): Superb -
- Ebony (10/5): Above and beyond! Highly recommend! - What an absolute gem this property is! Located close to everything but still feeling like you are in the country and tucked away. The cottages were fantastic, the beds were super comfy and the host had gone above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We will definitely return! The cellar door is close and the tastings were great. Highly recommended the Blanc de Blanc!
- Michelle (10/5): Enjoyable - Quaint and roomy.
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet and peaceful cottages, scenery was amazing. Loved our stay. Thank you
- Cheryl (9/5): Awesome stay, great location. Hopefully back again soon. - The provided breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Location was perfect for the wedding we attended. If I had to pick on something it was probably missing an air fryer hahaha also the wood provided for the fire was a bit hard to get started, being a bushy I got an awesome fire going. We had a great time the kangaroos came for a visit. Again being a bushy we’re used to having them around but If we were from the city they’d make great company for breakfast.
- Kellie (10/5): What a lovely time we had waking up seeing the vineyards with the sunrise and every morning seeing the kangaroos. We all - I loved the fact we were actually on a vineyard waking up for sunrise to be greeted by kangaroo
And how They had put some special touches in the property and how lovely the staff were to help There’s nothing I didn’t like about the property
Only thing I would say it’s missing is a hot tub 😉
- Ron (8/5): Very good -
- Treena (10/5): Beautiful little cottage in a quiet setting. Great base for any hunter valley activities. Beautiful, clean and comfortab - Great location, beautiful setting. Beds and pillows were so comfy! It had everything we needed for a girls weekend getaway. The cottage was extremely clean. The air conditioner didn’t seem to work very well on heat.
- Maree (9/5): Superb -
- Victor (9/5): Very nice cottage with a great location - The location is perfect as it is located within a couple of minutes of all the great wineries and attractions. Comfortable and very clean. The wine and the breakfast goodies made it even better!! Needs more attention placing landmarks to locate the right entrance and the cottage number ... was a bit hard trying to get to the cottage at night time.
- Nicola (8/5): Very beautiful cottage and location. - Thoughtful lovely breakfast. The door didn't close on main bedroom. Unfortunately lots of rain and mud everywhere. Hard as elderly mother and I have balance issues getting into house and to wedding staying upright and clean.
- Emma (8/5): Nice place to stay - Cute, comfortable and clean cottage for the 7 of us. Very well equipped kitchen with lots of wine glasses! Lovely surprise to be greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine, croissants, jams, juices and yoghurts. Central location in the Hunter. Water pressure in bathrooms (especially upstairs) made showering difficult - needs addressing.
- Megan (10/5): Lovely weekend away - The cosy fireplace!
The beds were so comfortable and warm!
Beautiful little cottage to stay in we had so much fun and the convenience of attending the Lovedale Long Lunch as well. Perfect location! There was a microwave and a stovetop but unfortunately no oven. There was a BBQ outside though.
There was a TV but not one with Netflix/Smart features but this was okay as we had a wholesome night doing paint by numbers and drinking a nice complimentary bottle of wine provided in front of the fire. So much fun :)
- Noela (9/5): 2 nights in a lovely house at Lovedale wine tasting on site - Lovely country home quiet roomy site comfy beds. Juice and breakfast items left for us.
Close to our concert bus pick up at the front gate. Everything was good for us
- Laura (10/5): Absolutely amazing from start to finish, could not recommend highly enough! Thanks so much Emma and Meg for your kindnes - Hands down the nicest weekend break we have experienced to date, such a gorgeous cottage with beautiful bedrooms in the peaceful surroundings of Emma’s vineyard. The generosity of the hosts was absolutely amazing - leaving us a complimentary bottle of wine and food for breakfast, along with a complimentary wine tasting! Our experience was above any other we have had in a long time. The cottage was clean, tidy and beautifully decorated when we arrived and was a lovely home away from home for our weekend. I could not recommend enough and will absolutely be returning for our next visit to Hunter Valley. We loved every moment of our stay, the only downside was that we didn’t book for longer! :)
- Alicia (9/5): Great getaway for the weekend in Hunter Valley - Loved all the added amenities, food, coffee/ tea, milk, wine, croissants etc.
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
