- Don (9/5): The room was very spacious and comfortable, - The staff were excellent. We'd inadvertently left some clothes hanging in the room's cupboard. Called the motel 2 days later, and the staff located the clothing and held it for us until our return a week later. The motel is very well located - close to town, as well as food outlets and servos.

- Charlotte (1/5): - The location Unsafe and Unhygienic Stay Not Recommended I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay at Tallarook Motor Inn on 2 April 2026 was deeply distressing and unacceptable. During the night, someone appeared to be trying my door handle repeatedly. I was travelling alone with my cat, who became very agitated, and there was no safety chain or extra lock on the door. This left me feeling extremely unsafe, and I was unable to reach reception for assistance. Adding to this, there was very loud noise from what sounded like a party nearby that went on late into the night. I was unable to rest and ended up leaving the property at 6:00am. The room itself was also in poor condition. The bins were full on arrival, cutlery and plates were dirty, and there was visible mould on the shower tiles. These hygiene issues are unacceptable for any guest. I paid AUD $198.90 for this stay but left feeling unsafe, uncomfortable, and frustrated. I cannot recommend this property and hope Booking.com reviews it to prevent other guests from experiencing the same issues.

- Merryle (7/5): It was okay for an overnight stay, but wouldn’t want to stay any longer. - Was easy to get into town, and easy to continue our journey. The room was quite spacious. Bed wasn’t very comfortable. Room is very tired with paint peeling from the cupboards and wardrobe. A sign saying $50 charge for cleaning if dishes aren’t washed and put away. We were supplied dishwashing detergent and a scourer. Would be good if they provided a tea towel to dry dishes, we ended up getting a clean hand towel from staff to dry dishes. I also emailed motel so the complaint was in writing.

- Madeleine (3/5): Avoid if you prefer a clean room - When asked to change rooms, the staff accommodated without question Bed was comfortable Unfortunately, this hotel was very unclean. The first room we tried clearly had pets in it previously, there was hair and fleas on the bed. Sheets not clean and the bathroom rubbish not emptied which contained old fem products. Awful! Staff didn't seem to care, just changed the room. The new room was much better, however, the kitchen bin still had rubbish. Pool dirty and unusable with an old maintenance sign from long ago.

- Russell (9/5): - Large room with full amenities.. Shower very good.. Large fridge with freezer. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and would use it again. Would have liked the outdoor pool to be shaded in some form. Didn't use it because of the heat.

- Vicki (5/5): Half happy camper - It was clean and close to places That the shower wouldn't stop dripping as we had to use towels to stop water running onto carpet. Taps need urgent attention. Not able to use pool as it was very hot.

- Ray V (9/5): - It was clean and well presented. Bit harsh in the wording of the not to do but I suppose thats how it is managed in India. I was double charged. $120 on booking.com and then another $182 when I arrived. I was then told it was an error and I saw the refund process but its not reflected on my credit card. Looks like this was just an expensive experience. So be aware of this place future travellers
