Guest Reviews
- Jason (6/5): - It was good for the lay over night
- Linda (4/5): - A run down caravan park with few to no facilities and an unmotivated manager. The communal kitchen was non existent. A lot of money and work needed to bring this park up to scratch.
- Tanya (6/5): - I was in a donger which was absolutely fine on inside but looked scarily askew on it's mounts!! Good laundry facilities. As a solo older woman, i felt safe. Food in cafe was very good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable - Really happy with our stay - room was very clean and tidy and broke a long journey from Perth to the North West. Pillows were a little flat but overall we were comfortable and refreshed for our forward journey.
Got take away fish, chips and salad from the shop/reception and it was a pretty nice meal with more than enough in the take away box
- Neil (8/5): I would stay again. - Bed was very comfortable and the stay was what was expected.
- Katrina (8/5): - Fast easy check in best feature.
Worst feature no key return slot so had to wait till reception open at 6 to hand key in. Unable to leave in room as door not lockable without key.
- Barrie (6/5): - They had the bare essential's. caravan shook when the occupants in the next accommodation unit moved about.
- Chris (10/5): - Comfortable bed kettle coffee and tea great folks to deal with
- Luke (2/5): - Given a room key. Dirty linen from the previous occupant on the floor. Dirty towel….. used soap. I could go on…… I walked out and stayed elsewhere.
Oh yeh….. room isn’t a room, it’s a caravan.
Not as described.
- Clayton (8/5): - Good stay for one night when you have a dog. Excellent breakfast onsite. Would happily stay again.
- Kiara (6/5): - Lots of stains on the sheets
- Bruce (8/5): Cheap but clean and comfortable - Small though comfortable and clean, no wifi unless you sat in dining room and no real dining option only what was sold in service station, but for a cheap stay over was more than adequate.
- Phillip (6/5): - Very tiny room in a caravan
- Sharon (6/5): Comy but can be noisy. - Small but reasonably clean and comfy bed. Problem is whenever the person in adjoining room moves the whole unit moves and you hear every step they make .
- Michael (6/5): - Was very average, bed linen was marked & dirty like it wasn't changed after the last occupant, TV remote was damaged with main channel & volume buttons missing, smoke alarm was not working with half of it lying on the shelf instead of being attached to the half on the ceiling, the front door kept knocking with the wind all night even with it locked, there was still a gap.
- Marian (8/5): Good for overnight stop - Not fancy but a comfortable stay after a long drive.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was as expected - basic, clean - you get what you paid for.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Compact and cozy accommodation. Good space to put luggage, etc. Wifi only in the office/shop, but that was fine. Stayed in the accommodation for two, but was travelling solo.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was ok for a one night stopover. The unit was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. It was very small but had plenty of storage for luggage.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very small but it was all we needed on our road trip to Broome. Very clean and we slept like logs all good not fancy but the staff was lovely.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Tv didn’t work so we were changed rooms and offered a free breakfast
- Mary (8/5): - Nice and clean, comfortable bed and reverse cycle air conditioning
- Verified traveler (8/5): Ok for the price - Budget room Ok
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Small but adequate as i only stayed one night. The left hand rail on the stairs was broken so that felt a bit unsafe. Had people on the other side of the caravan and they were a bit noisy.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Bed was too high up.
tkilet wasnt facing the right way
this accomadtoo. is actually only for 1 person
no molk, no water, no toaster, 1 teabag,
no cutler or plates
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I got bed bugs from the room and had welts all over my face
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Although the little room was very basic and a little claustrophobic in its size, it was clean and serviceable and for what I was paying it was very adequate and suited my needs. The Staff were very friendly and obliging and there was always a plentitude of good food and drink available throughout the day from 7am until 9 pm every day. In all, a thoroughly pleasing experience for my money. I would definitely use them again.
- John (6/5): A traveller in W.A - Just stayed there overnight whilst travelling north. W ass able to get reasonable meal in roadhouse attached to room. Room was reasonable for the reason we booked it but very small, nor suitable for more than quick overnight stop.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Only this one option in the area that you can book on the internet. The room is an RV that is relatively clean. Room is a little tight though.
- Peter (6/5): Definitely not value for money. - Not much options in town. It was a quick stop over so didn’t mind where I stayed. The only issue I have, it’s totally over priced!!! Way over priced!!!! The positives; clean, friendly service and the food was actually good. The town is very small, so there is only the pub down the road, which is not pleasant. If I had no other choice then I would return.
- Frank (6/5): - Wäre ausbaufähig,
- Jenny (10/5): Try the pizza!! - We stopped off in Meekatharra whilst traveling from Karratha to Kalgoorlie. The accommodation was very basic but it was fine for the night. The staff/owners were fantastic and very helpful. If you are eating onsite try the pizza it was delicious!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - One night stay with three colleagues to visit local mining tenements. The accommodation is in essence half an onsite caravan with ensuite and air conditioning. It was quite adequate for a one night sleepover trip.
- Jacqueline (10/5): - Comfortable and affordable
- Marian (8/5): Convenient and does the job - Basic accommodation but worth the price to be able to rest during long drive
- Ian (6/5): Caravan type accommodation - Basic caravan accomodation that was clean. Nothing to write home about but fitted what was needed for a quick overnight stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Need to improve parking arrangements. Too much gravel, some sealed area for motorcyclists would make staying overnight much more attractive.
- Alex (8/5): Good but basic overnight accommodation. - The room occupied half of a large caravan. It was well-appointed, clean and comfortable. There was no-one in the other half, so can't comment on how sound-proofed the room was. It was very compact, though everything was there, apart from having to climb over one person to get into bed on the other side. We had dinner in the restaurant: the menu was good, we enjoyed the food and the reasonable prices. The fan in the bathroom stopped working, but everything else (TV, fridge, aircond) worked fine. There was no kettle (removed for safety reasons) which was rather disappointing (I like my cuppa in bed in the morning), but they did provide free tea/coffee in the restaurant at all hours. Free WiFi was good, but only worked in the Reception/Restaurant area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Basic but comfortable. Good value for money. - The van I used is basic accommodation but was very comfortable. Wonderful bed. Great hosts with really good communication skills. Made me very welcome when I had to stay over to have a puncture fixed. Sells the best food in town.
- elysha (4/5): Clean but lots broken - It’s clean and neat but no kettles in room. Handles broken to bathroom. shower head not sprouting properly. Toilet leaked. Camp kitchen was gross and dirty and old. God knows when the cloths were replaced last.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Overpriced - Pictures can be deceiving, a lot smaller than I expected and overpriced.
- Sammy (2/5): Not what it looks like on the Internet - - Couldn't find the location to begin with, even using Google Maps you are directed to the other end of the town. No visible signage, and you aren't aware that you need to find a rundown Caltex. When I called staff they agreed that they get told they can't be found all the time.
- Couldn't find reception, again no signage.
- Ended up driving through the facility to try and find reception and once I drove through I drove straight out again. There didn't appear to be any set layout, everyone was parked where ever they wanted, there were dogs running around, there was no parking close to my accommodation and I didn't/wouldn't feel safe staying there over night.
- The staff member who I spoke to, although were nice and pleasant couldn't understand English well and made it quite frustrating. I had to explain myself several times and at the end of it I simply said I wouldn't be checking in and left it at that.
- I didn't end up checking in so cannot comment on the Room Cleanliness or Comfort.
- Kevin (8/5): Meekatharra Accommodation Centre - "Room" was very small but very clean and had a fridge and reverse cycle airconditioner. Bed was comfortable and served the purpose - ie a good nights rest as part of a long, tiring journey which meet our needs.
- Rick (8/5): - Just stay overnight get rest before travel early morning going Karijini Eco Retreat.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Best option for a small town with few alternatives - Stayed in a trailer that was clean and had a bathroom and small kitchen area. Comfortable and fine for a short stay.
- R (8/5): Good comfortable nights sleep - A safe and clean place to stay when travelling through Meeka on way to the Kimberley
- Isabelle (6/5): Bien pour une nuit - Surprise de voir tous ces mobil'home à la suite mais finalement c'est confortable et propre. La climatisation est un peu bruyante. C'est un endroit pour une nuit maximum.
- Gordon (4/5): - Spartan clean good value
- RM (8/5): Good for the location but a bit cramped. - Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is small but good for a short stay.
- irene (4/5): Overnight stay - This accommodation was hard to find when we arrived after dark as there is no street signage. Only found by asking at shop. The van was tiny but very clean but the surroundings were definately not appealing in any way.
- Warren (8/5): Cheap stay in Meekatharra - It was just a small room in a caravan (3 rooms to each caravan); but it was clean and well-priced and it was somewhere to sleep, which was all I needed
