- Jodie (1/5): - The room was very overpriced. Normality $170 per night but ad Scone Cup weekend charged $450. Then I changed a booking to exactly the same beds etc for a room and paid $375. Was embarrassed to tell my partner how much I paid. When we entered the room there was an odour so bad we had to spray our expensive perfume and cologne and it still smelt like sewerage during the night. The bed was lumpy, towels were very small, no air freshener or sanitary bin. Thin curtains blinds so you could hear the traffic.

- Mavis Rose (10/5): Colonial Motor Lodge Scone - Upon arrival our greeting was friendly & welcoming. Check-in was quick & easy. Our room 6 had plenty of space & was very clean & tidy. We did need some extra plates, cups & knife but a quick trip to reception desk & this was sorted very quickly, even gave us some free coke drinks for the inconvenience which was awesome & we appreciated it.. Shower was great & had plenty of water pressure. Plenty of room for parking. Was great to be able to get accommodation at a reasonable prices. Thanks for making our stay a good one.

- Rebecca (6/5): Good location, with just about adequate facilities, but little care taken. - Adequate facilities. New tv and quiet fridge. Uncomfortable sofa. Old fashioned shower with bad curtain. Worst problem was that the door lock wasn’t secure and would fly open unexpectedly. I had to prop a chair against it at nighttime (not pleasant for a single female traveller). I stayed two nights but no one cleaned during my stay, or even emptied the bin.

- Peta (8/5): Very comfortable and located in a good position. - We did not eat at the restaurant there. However, we found the container of tea, coffee and biscuits good. We also found plates, cups and cutlery very well appointed. Also the small fridge relatively large, and there was a small freezer compartment where we could keep our esky ice cold. I had booked a room for 3 people. However as I am a large lady I found it a little difficult when squeezing past the corner of one bed in order to go to the bathroom. We also did have trouble working out how to work the wifi, but it was too late to find out what wasn't working.

Was a disabled room, bathroom was entirely wet when shower used, parking wasn't clearly marked out in the corner where our room was located, if busy would've been hard to know which way to park, room wasn't cleaned very well, very dated, milk was like jelly in plastic cups - obviously old. Cigarettes on table outside our room, not ideal for kids. Just didn't seem like a well maintained or cared for motel.

- Kathleen (4/5): Disappointing - Thai Restaurant food was quite good. Bar available was good, too. Positioned just off highway was good after long trip and continuing next morning too. Aircon available. Was reasonably quiet and spacious room. Constantly leaking tap - reported it to front desk, but it had already been reported by previous occupants but couldn't be fixed till the following morning, apparently. Should have been told this on check-in Room was not very clean, dusty around edges, inside bottom of shower curtain was very mouldy, and shower needed a thorough scrubbing. Dishes provided were dirty with remains of cereal on them as was cutlery. No dishwasher liquid was provided to clean them. I used kettle and washed with boiling water & soap. Broken light shade on wall light. Bottom of the door, weathered and worn needing repair with a big gap below it. Door snake was provided, so that helped a bit. Bed springs made noise when bed was sat on, and the wires of the heated blanket were felt easily through the mattress topper ( recommend new thicker topper). Walking in through a cloud of smoke from the 2 men drinking & smoking outside next door's room didn't help the atmosphere either or the smell of smoke which had permeated my room thru gap under the door. Also, when I came out next morning there was an ash tray with cigarettes and ash in it under the chair and table belonging to my room which was unpleasant.
